Enects of &Amp;alpha;-Methyl Styrene on Rheological and Mechanical Properties of HIPS/SBS Blends

Abstract:The effects of a-methyl styrene on the rheological and mechanical properties of HIPS/SBS blends have been examined,It is found that addition of a-methyl styrene in amount of 2.5 weight percent increased the melt index of the blend by 3 times as compared with samples without additive,and their mechanical property changed only slightly.
