Abstract:The title compound, C11H10N4O4 center dot H2O, was synthesized from 1-azidomethyl-3-nitrobenzene and ethyl acetylacetate. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the dihedral angle between the triazole and benzene ring planes is 84.80 (2)degrees. The packing of the molecules is stabilized by strong O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds involving the solvent water molecules as donors and acceptors. The resulting layers are arranged into a three-dimensional framework via weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions.

Abstract:The title compound, C(10)H(9)N(3)O(2), was synthesized from azido-benzene and ethyl acetyl-acetate. A pair of hydrogen bonds [2.617 (2) Å] inter-connects a pair of the carboxyl groups, forming an R(2) (2)(8) inversion dimer, a frequent motif in carboxylic acids. In the title structure, the bonding H atom in the aforementioned O-H⋯O hydrogen bond is significantly shifted towards the acceptor O atom [the donor and acceptor O-H distances are 1.25 (4) and 1.38 (4) Å, respectively]. A plot of the O⋯O versus O-H distances in compounds with paired carboxyl groups shows that the title structure belongs to the group of structures with abnormally long O-H distances with regard to the O⋯O contacts. The displacement of the bonding H atom towards the centre of the hydrogen bond is concomitant with more equal C-O bonding distances in the carboxyl group.

Abstract:In the molecule of the title compound, C19H15N5, the dihedral angles formed by the plane of the triazole ring with those of the 2-pyridyl, 4-pyridyl and p-tolyl rings are 28.12 (10), 34.62 (10) and 71.43 (9)degrees, respectively. The crystal structure is consolidated by C-H center dot center dot center dot pi hydrogen-bonding interactions and by pi-pi stacking interactions, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.794 (4) angstrom.

Abstract:In the title mol-ecule, C(7)H(7)N(5)S, the pyridyl and triazole rings form a dihedral angle of 20.07 (6)°. Inter-molecular N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains extended in the direction [10]. Further stability is provided by π⋯π stacking inter-actions, indicated by short distances between the centroids of triazole rings [3.480 (5) Å] and pyridyl rings [3.574 (5) Å] of neighbouring mol-ecules.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C15H15N5O2S, the triazole ring forms a π56 configuration in which the N between the two C atoms is sp2 hybridized. A strong S⋯S(−x, −y, −z) interaction exists between adjacent molecules producing a zigzag line along the c axis with an S⋯S distance of 3.123 (3) A, and a three-dimensional network is formed through C—H⋯N and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:The title compound, C10H8N6O3, was synthesized by the reaction of 3-(1H)-1,2,4-triazole hydrazine with 3-nitrobenzaldehyde in ethanol. The single crystal structure has been determined by X-ray analysis. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system, space group p2(1)/c with cell constant, a = 8.0214(17) angstrom, b = 17.334(4) angstrom, c = 8.9070(18) angstrom, V = 1179.4(4) angstrom(3). An intramolecular N --- H center dot center dot center dot O and N --- H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond are observed between the -NH group with O atom of the carbonyl group and the -NH group with N atom.
