The Analysis of Mapping with the Different Size of F_(2) Population of Bombyx Mori

Abstract:The results of the study of constructing linkage map with population size 91,81,71,61,51 and 45 individuals respectively suggested that the number of linkage groups and unlinkage markers tend to decrease with the size of population reduced under the same analysis parameters.In the same size of population,the amount of linkage groups,unlinkage markers and two marker group increase gradually when the crossover value was reduced,while the total map distance and the mean of map distance decreased.Based on the same mapping parameters and the same size of population,the amount of linkage groups,markers linkaged and total map distance is positive related to the amount of markers,but the two marker group has a negative relation with the amount of markers.The results of this study suggested that the smallest size of F 2 mapping population of Bombyx mori should be 81 individuals.
