Abstract:We regret to inform about an error in the above-mentioned paper, i.e., the raw Raman spectrum of copper-carbon DC arc discharge product prepared with 10% of CH4 in the gas mixture of CH4/He as shown in figure 5c. This raw spectrum and its deconvoluted components are replaced. The corresponding text about Raman results is re-described. These errors do not affect the discussion or interpretation of the results. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Abstract:Firstly, in Scheme 1 c of this Communication, the chemical structure of D is incorrect. The correct version is shown in the updated Scheme 1 below. Secondly, there is a mistake in the first paragraph of the Experimental Section. The “calcium hydride (methanol)” in the sixth line is wrong and should be “I2/Mg (methanol)”. Thus, the first paragraph should read as follows: “General materials: Except for the visible-light-induced final step which was carried out without nitrogen atmosphere protection, other manipulations were carried out under a nitrogen atmosphere by using standard Schlenk techniques. Solvents were distilled under nitrogen from sodium benzophenone (diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran) or I2/Mg (methanol), and degassed prior to use. The starting materials of [OsCl2(PPh3)3], 1 a′–1 e”, 3 a“ and 3 b” were prepared by procedures described in the literature.[13] Other reagents were used as received from commercial sources without further purification.“ The authors apologize for these mistakes and for any inconvenience caused.

Abstract:In Scheme 2 b of this Communication, derivatization product 5 d was reported to be a five-membered ring product. During recent investigations, the authors found that the structure of 5 d was incorrectly assigned. This error was caused by incorrect analysis of the NMR spectra. In a structural revision this compound was determined to be a four-membered ring product. A detailed analysis employing 2D NMR spectroscopy is provided in the Supporting Information accompanying this Corrigendum. This correction does not affect the results and conclusions in other parts of the Communication. Abstract:On pages S11, S65 and S68 of the Supporting Information of our paper “Organocatalytic Direct Vinylogous Michael Addition of α,β-Unsaturated γ-Butyrolactam to α,β-Unsaturated Aldehydes and an Illustration to Scaffold Diversity Synthesis” (Chem. Eur. J. 2010, 16, 10309–10312), it was found that the 1H NMR data and spectra of compound 9 k and its diastereomer 9 k′ were mismatched. The corrected version of the Supporting Information now has been presented.
