Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the relation between interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α) levels in cerebrospinal fluid with cerebral infarction and its prognosis in cerebral infarction patients.【Methods】 50 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to in our hospital from June 2009 to June 2010 were as the observation group,and randomly selected 30 cases normal healthy as the control group over the same period in our hospital clinic.To detect the IL-6,TNF-α level in cerebrospinal fluid of control group and observation group at 3days after admission,and analysis the relationship between of IL-6,TNF-α levels and cognitive dysfunction.【Results】 The IL-6,TNF-α levels in cerebrospinal fluid of observation group were significantly higher than that of control group(P 0.05),and it was significantly positive correlation with infarct volume(P 0.05),but it has no significant correlation with cognitive function defects(P 0.05).【Conclusion】 The detection of IL-6,TNF-α level in cerebrospinal fluid in cerebral infarction is important to judge the extent of brain damage,but could not directly reflect the cognitive function.
