Abstract:This paper makes statistical analysis and bibliometric analysis,via the statistics of bilingual education research papers included in CSSCI(1998-2011),from these aspects including age distribution of literature,periodicals distribution,topic distribution,institutional distribution of the core authors and authors,which determine the core authors,core journals of bilingual education and research law in the field of social sciences and reveal an overview and the major research topic of the research of social sciences on bilingual education;and applies the method of literature co-citation analysis and information visualization technique of dynamic network analysis to the mapping of scientific knowledge map in the field of bilingual teaching in China,showing the key nodes of the bilingual teaching and research,as well as the important roles played by the experts represented by the node and their work on the development of this field,displaying the knowledge base and research frontier of the bilingual education on residents in China,and then providing ideas for the bilingual teaching and research in China,and promoting the theory and empirical studies of the relevant research fields.
