Abstract:Switching fabric is one of key technology to realize broadband switch. This article analyzes each kind of SF and its merits and shortcomings in detail.In order to solve queuing competition,it further discusses the balance on buffering utilization and exchange performance of SF from buffering strategies.Finally,it analyzes and compares the part hardware realization of Crossbar and Banyan.
