Abstract:Considering the characteristics of tasks,simulation system of kinetic disaster for major engineering projects based on grid is purposed in order to enhance the capabilities of resource sharing and remote collaboration.The architecture and the related implementation techniques of this grid application platform are discussed in detail.This platform utilizes web services technology to realize the encap-sulation of disaster simulation tasks into grid services on the grid portal.These tasks will be submitted to computing nodes,executed in parallel,monitored and managed in real-time.It can make great progress on computational efficiency in practice by the implementation of applications.
