Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study is to discuss the effects of testicular tiny blood vessels changes on the function of testis in rats.Methods The testis tissue were embedded in paraffin and counterstained with hematoxylin to measure the tiny blood vessels.Results The average thickness of tiny blood vessel walls are increased with aging.The numbers of tiny blood vessels around every seminiferous tube are increased from birth to 2 month postnatal and decreased on 6 month postnatal,while there is a decrease tendency from 12 month postnatal to 24 month postnatal.The ratio of numbers of tiny blood vessels to numbers of seminiferous tubes reach the maximum on 6 month postnatal and decrease on 24 month postnatal. Conclusions The thickness of tiny blood vessel walls and numbers of tiny blood vessels are important reasons for testis aging.
