Abstract:To reduce the complexity of evaluating missile systems performance, a new fuzzy AHP model based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and basic theory of the trigonometrical fuzzy number (TFN) was given and corresponding evaluation process was introduced. In Matlab environment an illustrative example was presented and analyzed. The results indicate that applying TFN and LLSM to AHP makes the model combine subjective analysis with quantitative analysis effectively, synthesize group opinions adequately, and acquire the consistent degree of decisions under each criterion from different experts clearly. In addition, the model can be operated by programming easily and applied widely due to its simple, normative arithmetic formulas

Abstract:According to imperfectness of performance evaluation for tracking algorithm,a method of evaluation for tracking algorithm based on AHP was proposed.As for the evaluation,three parameters including veracity,real-time demand and the implementation on hardware of the tracking algorithm were mainly considered,and then the method for quantizing and regulating the three parameters was also discussed here.AHP was adopted to calculate the weight of the three parameters and the complete score of the evaluation.Finally,the small target tracking experiments were made by 4 typical small target tracking algorithms and 3 real IR images series,and the evaluation score of the algorithms were also calculated according to the experiment results.The results verify the rationality of the method of evaluation.

Abstract:This paper offers a compacted mechanism to carry out the performance evaluation work for an automatic target recognition (ATR) system: (a) a standard description of the ATR system's output is suggested, a quantity to indicate the operating condition is presented based on the principle of feature extraction in pattern recognition, and a series of indexes to assess the output in different aspects are developed with the application of statistics; (b) performance of the ATR system is interpreted by a quality factor based on knowledge of engineering mathematics; (c) through a novel utility called "context-probability" estimation proposed based on probability, performance prediction for an ATR system is realized. The simulation result shows that the performance of an ATR system can be accounted for and forecasted by the above-mentioned measures. Compared to existing technologies, the novel method can offer more objective performance conclusions for an ATR system. These conclusions may be helpful in knowing the practical capability of the tested ATR system. At the same time, the generalization performance of the proposed method is good.

Abstract:The complexity of the efficiency evaluation of reconnaissance solution is derived from the relative fuzziness,hierarchy and complexity of the efficiency index.An efficiency evaluationindex system of reconnaissance solution is analyzed.Based on the fuzzy hierarchical analysis method,a comprehensive model is established for the efficiency evaluation of reconnaissancesolution.The model can provide a reliable reference basis for the decision of commander and the use of the reconnaissance equipment,and create conditions for increasing the efficiency of the reconnaissance solution.

Abstract:Based on the application and requirement in Automatic Target Recognition(ATR) of image processing,the evaluation indexes and their calculation methods are designed.Aiming at the problem that there are so many man-made factors in existing methods that make the results of evaluation subjective,a performance evaluation model which is based on BP neural network is established.This model can reduce the effect of man-made factors and enhance the reliability of evaluation results.Through carrying out simulation and analysis by test data,the results of this model and the judgments of experts are in much high consistency.

Abstract:First,a set of relatively complete measures of performance are established on the basis of the analysis to the performance evaluation requirements of tracking system for data fusion and the known metrics;and the definition and compute formula of those metrics are described in detail through using the method of time-weighted average.Secondly a fuzzy synthesis evaluation method of system performance is presented based on the evaluation metrics.Its principle and realization in the tracking system for data fusion are explained.The simulations show that the metrics are rational and the evaluation method is easy application.

Abstract:By statistically analyzing the type of image quality measure indexes,this paper proposes a simple method for dividing image quality into different levels.Support Vector Machine(SVM) is used to recognize targets of each image subset,and the effect of image quality to target recognition is analyzed.Combined with traditional performance evaluation method of Automatic Target Recognition(ATR),a new performance evaluation method based on image quality levels is presented.Experimental result proves that the new method evaluate more accurately.

Abstract:In view of uncertainty degree of judgment in group-evaluation problem, a new method combined the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with the basic theory of triangular fuzzy number was given in this paper. A real case study of personnel selection in Matlab environment demonstrated its application and examined its effectiveness. The use of this proposed method indicates that it is easier for the evaluation team not only to obtain impartial and reasonable resulting value, but also to arrive at a consensus decision. Moreover, the consistent degree of decision or opinion of each decision element from different expert can be showed clearly.

Abstract:Multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) research has developed rapidly and has become a main area of research for dealing with complex decision problems. The purpose of the paper is to explore the performance evaluation model. This paper develops an evaluation model based on the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and the technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution, fuzzy TOPSIS, to help the industrial practitioners for the performance evaluation in a fuzzy environment where the vagueness and subjectivity are handled with linguistic values parameterized by triangular fuzzy numbers. The proposed method enables decision analysts to better understand the complete evaluation process and provide a more accurate, effective, and systematic decision support tool.

This paper proposes an index system of service quality internal evaluation which covers all kinds of the electricity service activities. Also, a model of how to weigh the indexes based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Triangular Fuzzy Number Principle is established, to solve the uncertainty of empowering the indexes. Abstract:In order to promote the evaluation performance of deep learning infrared automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithms in the complex environment of air-to-air missile research, we proposed an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) evaluation system consisting of the target recognition ability, the generalization recognition ability, the anti-interference ability, the background suppression ability, and the cost metrics ability. According to detailed quantitative analysis and experimental results, we establish probability evaluation models and get their probability values. Compared with traditional evaluation systems, our proposed method implementation is showing high reliability. Similar superior performances are also achieved, such as quick, comprehensive, and scientific. Through the above research, the key technology of deep learning performance evaluation in automatic target recognition has been broken through, which provides some basis and guidance for the analysis of infrared imaging-guided weapon systems.

Abstract:Conceptual design is a pivotal stage of new product development in manufacturing industries. Since multiple design alternatives are put forward at this stage, developing advanced evaluation methods is of great importance. Existing methods adopt additive models to integrate evaluation data. They face some inconsistency issues, e.g. inconsistency in the independent assumption and interdependent data, since evaluation criteria are interactional. Fuzzy measure that replaces the additivity with monotonicity has enabled advances in addressing such issues. This work proposes a two-additive fuzzy measure-based information integration approach to product design alternative evaluation for the first time. The evaluation data given by experts are in the form of intuitionistic linguistic numbers. They are more in accordance with the thinking habits of experts because the hesitation degree in linguistic assessment can be revealed. In order to reduce the subjective bias, the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory method combining with grey relational analysis is applied to adjust evaluation data. Then monotonous two-additive fuzzy measure is identified by nonlinear programming using these data. It makes a good trade-off between computational complexity and presentation capability. Hence, evaluation data can be integrated by non-additive Choquet integral for ranking design alternatives. In comparison to additive model-based methods, the extra effect on the simultaneous satisfaction of criteria can be effectively revealed by the proposed approach. And the robustness of it is demonstrated by the sensitivity analysis. A case study on an elevator's design alternative evaluation is conducted to illustrate the feasibility and practicability of the proposed approach.

Owing to the inherent uncertainty of ATR systems, the complexity of the recognition environment, and the increasingly adversarial nature of recognition, the development of ATR faces systematic challenges from theory to technology and applications. This paper presents the definition and connotation of ATR from an engineering perspective, briefly reviews and analyzes the developments in this field, explores the core technology system and system development model of ATR, and finally examines the future development challenges.

Abstract:Selecting an aero-engine which can effectively meet the design requirements of aircraft is the first step in the overall program design of aircraft. The common judgment is fuzzy. The current judgment studies of aero-engine performance often limited to a particular aspect and can’t reflect the overall performance. So we can’t accurately select and use. This paper aims to solve this problem. Taking two aero-engines as examples, the related parameters are quantified depending on the design requirements for the aircraft. A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established based on fuzzy mathematical theory. Then according to the principle of maximum membership degree, the paper selects the most suitable engine. Meanwhile the applicability of the theory in the field of engineering is verified and provides guidance for other engineering fields.

Abstract:Performance evaluation is an important part of human resource management and the core of performance management, so the choice of evaluation methods is essential. The common methods are graphic rating scale, force distribution, behaviorally anchored rating scale, management by objectives, 360-degree evaluation method and so on. But these methods can not better handle the ambiguity and uncertainties of the data. To avoiding this problem, this paper applies fuzzy ID3 algorithm which integrates the different fuzzy degree to employee performance evaluation, so that to achieve a more effective and distinct classification in employee performance evaluation and provide a reasonable foundation for implementing effective classification.

Abstract:Considering the complexity of effectiveness evaluation index of reconnaissance satellite system (RSS), the cloud model theory and AHP method are combined. A fuzzy evaluation method of combat effectiveness based on cloud model is proposed. A multi-layer evaluation index system is constructed through the AHP method, and the weight of each level index is calculated. Combining the multi-dimensional cloud model with the AHP method, a quantitative fuzzy evaluation method for qualitative indicators and quantitative data is designed, and the qualitative evaluation results are obtained. The experimental results show that the proposed evaluation method can effectively realize the fuzzy quantitative evaluation under the complex evaluation index system with good performance in terms of calculation accuracy and fuzziness.

Abstract:AHP refers to the decision making method that decomposes the elements that are always related to decision-making into levels of objectives, criteria, schemes, etc., and conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis on this basis. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is a comprehensive evaluation method based on fuzzy mathematics, which converts qualitative evaluation into quantitative evaluation according to the membership theory of fuzzy mathematics. In this paper, Yaahp software is used for weight calculation and consistency test of ahp, and sensitivity analysis is also carried out. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to determine the evaluation index set and the fuzzy comment set, and the evaluation model is constructed by fuzzy synthesis. On this basis, the empirical analysis is carried out.

Abstract:In order to grasp the overall flight safety situation and trends accurately, and further improve the ability of risk prediction, this paper put forward a model for flight safety situation evaluation based on fuzzy matter-element by considering the vagueness of flight safety situation and incompatibility of evaluation index. Firstly, based on the "Human -MachineEnvironment" theory, a indicator system of flight safety situation evaluation was established, and the weight of evaluation index was determined by using analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and entropy-weight; Secondly, combining the fuzzy set theory with Euclid approach degree, the model for flight safety situation evaluation was built, and the steps of evaluation was also cleared; Finally, a flight training group was taken a example, and its flight safety situation was analyzed quantitatively based on the data from January to August in 2020. The results show that the model is effective and feasible to portray the safety trends, the quantitative results are objective and effective, can provide a new way for flight safety management.
