It can bring about some impacts on national sovereignty,but it cannot cause the country to vanish. It is the driving force for globalization instead of victim of it.A country shoulders the sacred duty of safeguarding its economic security.

Abstract:Globalization forces are colliding with international and national systems of governance, giving rise to a limited sovereignty of the nation-state. Globalization has also negatively affected poor countries and, in its wake, contributed to violence, hunger, and deprivation despite its powerful technological innovations and new economic, cultural, administrative, and political initiatives. This study conceives globalization, good governance, and the culture of governing as inextricably connected. After reviewing positions by proponents and opponents, the authors conclude that the dysfunctions of globalization are threatening the very foundation of developing nations’ systems of effective governance. Based on a review of developments in countries of the Middle East and South Asia, the authors believe that to serve the transformative process, leading to good governance and democratic development, globalization has to take account of important indigenous value systems.

Abstract:China’s globalization is the strategic choices in exploring the path of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. It has both positive and negative effects to Chinese centripetal force: The capital logic of globalization promoted China's economic development and laid a solid material foundation for enhancing the nation centripetal force, but impacted the attractiveness of socialist ideals in people’s minds. Political globalization weakened the sovereign power and its influence of the national states, but also strengthened the national consciousness and the national identity. Cultural globalization has brought strong invasion of western culture, but it also made our country treat national traditional culture more and more rational and consciously, and committed to improving cultural soft power. Globalization spurred the rise of “globalism” and“cosmopolitanism”, but also brought out the strength of China’s nationalist ideologies.

Abstract:The problem of globalization and China is first of all that of time.We must understand the necessity and importance of China's participation in the wave of globalization from the viewpoint of logic of social and historical development.The anti-globalization conclusion drawn from state-nationalism,cultural pluralism may make China fail to take advantage of world market and to promote our developmental stage of social history,therefore,we should be against it.We should dare to and know how to merge in globalization.We should not underestimate the risk of globalization and the efforts to respond to challenge and to resist risks should be within the frame of globalization.We should replace the old model ofChallenge-responsewith the new oneresponse-innovationand promote system innovation and changes in globalization.

Abstract:Globalization is a world-class phenomenon, and it is the cross-border and cultural spread of factors such as the production of products, the application of technology, the dissemination of information, and jobs among different countries. Globalization is a widespread phenomenon that includes economic, political, social, cultural and legal factors. From the economic point of view, globalization explains the free trade in which different countries are interdependent through various forms. From the political point of view, the evolution of globalization is developing towards the structure of intergovernmental organizations, such as the WTO and the United Nations. From the social and cultural point of view, globalization makes the interaction and cultural exchange among ethnic groups closer. Globalization also represents the exchange and collision of cultural concepts, thoughts and artistic expressions among different regions. In addition, there is a general trend of globalization towards a single world culture. From the perspective of law, globalization has adjusted the construction and implementation of international law. In the author's opinion, globalization is not a new concept in recent decades. In ancient human society a long time ago, there were merchants who traveled long distances to another country and region, taking their hometown specialties for sale, or bringing overseas specialty products back to their hometown for sale. With the development of industrial revolution, it created a great leap in the development of transportation and communication means for human society in the 19th century, and also greatly reduced the difficulty of cross-border trade. Through a brief analysis of the historical evolution of economic globalization, political globalization and social and cultural globalization, this paper shows that globalization is the result of historical development in recent centuries, rather than a fresh product in recent decades.

Abstract:The tension between globalization and national policy autonomy is one of the core subjects in the globalization debates. This article discusses this issue from the angle of domestic political response to globalization. National policies can set barriers to and delay international economic integration, but they also can facilitate globalization by providing more stable environment and mitigating the tension between market and society through some safety nets. Globalization, by weakening state autonomy, decreases the ability of governments to set barriers to global economic activities; but on the other hand, it also erodes the capacities of national governments to support the smooth development of globalization.

Abstract:In the contemporary world,the globalization has been introduced into the domain of traditional constitution. In recent years,a trend of constitutional convergence emerges in different countries,constitutional practices in different countries begin to use foreign or international law to deciding their own constitutional cases,and the communications and interactions among judges have developed rapidly and extensively. The emergence of globalization of constitutional law began with the worldwide decline of parliamentary sovereignty,introspection of executive power,and economic globalization. This new trend,however,meets resistance from countries like the United States. It also brings several problems in constitutional theory.

Abstract:This chapter traces the question of globalization and reviews the efforts from geographers to understand the spatiality of economic globalization. Specific efforts have been made to review four research areas, including transnational corporations, cross-border flows, consequence of global-local interactions and local response to economic globalization. This chapter also highlights the contributions of Chinese scholars in globalization studies. As the speed-up of China's integration into the globalization process, Chinese scholars are capable of offering more insights into cross-border economic activities, regional integration and global governance. Roadmap for future research is therefore depicted to embrace this trend.

Abstract:The embrace of globalization and protectionism among economies has ebbed and flowed over the past few decades. These fluctuations call for quantitative analytics to help countries improve their trade policies. Changing attitudes about globalization also imply that the best trade policies may vary over time and be country-specific. We argue that the imports and exports of all economies constitute a counterbalanced network where conflict and cooperation are two sides of the same coin. Quantitative competitiveness is then formulated for each country using a network counterbalance equilibrium. A country could improve its relative strength in the network by embracing globalization, protectionism, trade collaboration, or conflict. This paper presents the necessary conditions for globalization and trade wars, evaluates their side effects, derives national bargaining powers, identifies appropriate targets for conflict or collaboration, and recommends fair resolutions for trade conflicts. Data and events from the past twenty years support these conditions.

Abstract:The rate of globalization in China becomes faster and faster after entering WTO, Confucianism, at the sametime, faces new challenge. The criticism of Communitarianism towards market capitalism has shaken the foundation of regulations of reason market capitalism on the dimension of spirit, and disclosed their natural weakness. From the self-criticism of Western countries towards modern market capitalism, we can see there are some similarities between them and Confucianism's emphases on setting up and developing self-value from social relations and community network. Here, We can dig up new meanings of Confucianism to globalization, As globalization furthers deeply Confucianism will develop values of general meanings.

Abstract:This paper aims to present an important phenomenon of our world, namely the contradictory relationship between globalization and cultural identity. In this work identity is understood as a cultural practice therefore it cannot be analyzed without taking into account global communication and diversity. The multidimensional transformation of our society in the XXI century is marked by increased interconnectivity and affirmation of singular identities. These identities come in constant tension with the context in which the existing political forms that are in crisis and the restructuring processes through new projects are struggling to set up a new society. Globalization versus cultural identity it’s not a zero-sum game even though the two might be perceived as opposite processes this paper argue that it globalization cultural identity can go hand in hand with globalization.
