Abstract:To achieve the data exchange between heterogeneous systems introduced by interoperability, the algorithms for model mapping in STEP are presented, which provide a methodology to the integration of CAx systems based on various application protocols of STEP. A formal definition of STEP/EXPRESS data model is introduced firstly. Based on this definition, two kinds of model mapping techniques for STEP, i.e. the static mapping and the dynamic mapping, along with the implementation by using EXPRESS-X mapping language are elaborated. Finally, a typical application of this technique in the open environment is addressed. Being independent of any specified system, the model mapping techniques presented in this paper achieve transparent integration between heterogeneous systems, which reduce the cost of information integration in system development.

Abstract:Electronic commerce is a main trend in Internet applications, which should be based on fair exchange. A new fair exchange protocol with off-line semi-trusted third party is proposed. It is also efficient in the sense that it only needs 4 messages in a transaction. In the meantime all messages are encrypted naturally, which makes it appealing over large open networks that have little or no physical security, such as Internet. It is based on publicly verifiable secret sharing (PVSS) theory.

Abstract:This paper introduces a small world overlay Peer- to-peer (P2P) transfer system with role based and reputation based access control policies, through which we are able to solve several serious problems existed in traditional P2P systems, like resource piracy, user privacy and network jam. The role based access control policy is implemented by the certificate based cryptography, e.g. X509. The reputation based access control policy consists of artificial scoring and automatic scoring components, corresponding to the quality and quantity evaluation of the transfer resources respectively. This system, upon the two policies and the adaptive small world overlay P2P topology, can restrict the peer's role and select a more credible peer to upload and download without any loss of performance, for the reason of the dramatic topology. Indeed it provides a secure, controllable and efficient resource transfer community.

Abstract:EPP model parallel port and CAN bus are generally introduced. The definition and use of virtual device driver VxD are specified. Also, the application of VxD driver in the interface realization of EPP model parallel port and CAN bus is focused on. Combining with the VxD application, an EPP-CAN based experimental communication system is introduced. Using VxD driver, this system successfully realizes the interface of CAN bus and EPP model parallel port. It can well accomplish the information transmission between them and response interruptions in time, thus realizes the real-time net communications of CAN bus.

Abstract:Software-defined elastic optical networks (SD-EONs) provide operators more flexibility to customize their optical infrastructure dynamically and adaptively, and network virtualization, i.e., infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), enables multiple tenants to share the substrate infrastructure efficiently. In this paper, we study how to provision virtual SD-EONs (vSD-EONs) with the correlated data and control plane embedding (χ-VNE) that considers the quality-of-service (QoS) of virtual control plane (vCP), i.e., availability and control channel latency. We propose a χ-VNE algorithm to solve the problem, design the network system to realize it, and accomplish proof-of-concept experimental demonstrations in an OpenFlow-based network testbed. Numerical and experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm and system function well and can realize on-demand and reliable vSD-EON provisioning.

Abstract:An experimental multi-user distributed virtual environment MUDVE is introduced. After analyzing pros and cons of peer-to-peer topology and client-server topology, a new hybrid communication topology is presented, which has the characteristics of low latency and good scalability. The system functions, such as object-oriented data management, dynamic load balancing and user management are discussed. The system also provides functions of information service and resource discovery, which are deficient in the existing DVE systems. Finally the experiment platform is described and the result is shown in grabbed images.

Abstract:The emerging of cloud data sharing can create great values, especially in multi-cloud environments. However, "data island" between different cloud service providers (CSPs) has drawn trust problem in data sharing, causing contradictions with the increasing sharing need of cloud data users. And how to ensure the data value for both data owner and data user before sharing, is another challenge limiting massive data sharing in the multi-cloud environments. To solve the problems above, we propose a Uniform Encoding and Parsing Framework (UEPF) with blockchain to support trustworthy and valuable data sharing. We design namespace-based unique identifier pair to support data description corresponding with data in multi-cloud, and build a blockchain-based data encoding protocol to manage the metadata with identifier pair in the blockchain ledger. To share data in multi-cloud, we build a data parsing protocol with smart contract to query and get the sharing cloud data efficiently. We also build identifier updating protocol to satisfy the dynamicity of data, and data check protocol to ensure the validity of data. Theoretical analysis and experiment results show that UEPF is pretty efficient.

Abstract:In this paper, we proposal an content provider mobility solution of Named Data Networking (NDN) [1]. Here content provider means the host of NDN network which provide content originally. We add a Locator are to the Interest packet [2]. Mapping System also introduced into the network, which maps identifier to locator. The original name is used as identifier. Thus, matching lookup in Content Store (CS) and Pending Interest Table (PIT) employs identifier, while forwarding lookup in Forwarding Information Base (FIB) employs locator. In reality, Mapping System should be a DNS-like distributed system, so the record updating has time latency. It's hard to solve provider mobility when there is no explicit "where" information, that's why locator is imported in NDN, however, "where" still serves as the secondary information of the network.

Abstract:PCs were communicated with each other in the EPL network constructed by software programming. EPL packets were obtained by Wireshark software. Through the analysis of these packets, three stages of network boot-up procedure which were MN initialization stage, MN guiding CN boot-up stage and EPL cycle stage could be observed. NMT state machine and DLL state machine were also verified to be logical and accurate. This research can be used for reference by people who are interested in improving EPL protocol or using EPL equipment.

Abstract:This paper presents an authorization solution for resource management and control developed as part of the China Education and Research Network (CERNET) to perform fine-grained authorization of job and resource management requests in a Grid environment which meets the Fusion-Grid's security needs in large scale networks such as CERNET. It integrates the GT2 job manager and X.509 authorization and this model can be extended to other authorization decision functions. It allows the system to evaluate a user's resource specification language request against authorization policies on resource usage. Furthermore, based on XML integrated authorization policies, it allows other virtual organization members to manage the user's resources.

Abstract:As a promising implementation of Information Centric Networking, Named Data Networking (NDN) can facilitate content distribution with in-network caching and location-independent data access. However, the reliance on caches makes NDN vulnerable to content poisoning attacks, which waste network resources and decrease transmission efficiency. Most mitigating schemes follow the pattern that each content is repeatedly verified individually in each router and all producers have the same status, which wastes computation resources and degrades network performance. In this paper, we propose a Reputation-based Probabilistic Batch Verification (RPBV) scheme to address the issue, in which producers’ reputation is estimated according to verification results to distinguish different producers. We provide an adaptive probabilistic verification method based on reputation to avoid a lot of unnecessary verification operations. At the same time, we adopt an efficient batch verification algorithm to simultaneously verify multiple content, which reduces the overhead greatly. With the above mechanisms implemented only on the edge router to avoid repeated verification, we provide an optional probabilistic verification method on intermediate routers to strengthen the security. The extensive simulations show that RPBV achieves much lower computation overhead and shorter content retrieval time than the traditional schemes.

Abstract:The Chinese Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) network (CVN) is a synthetic aperture radio telescope with the equivalent diameter up to 3000 Km. Through the electronic VLBI (e-VLBI) technology, the four stations and the data processing center are connected by the high speed network. e-CVN is a multi-purpose e-science platform with the merit of quick response ability. e-CVN has been successfully used in the near-real time critical lunar probe tracking missions. Besides, results of the preliminary e-CVN experimental investigations with the aim of rapid radio source mapping and rapid UT1 measurement are presented.

Abstract:Technology mapping is an essential step in EDA flow. However, the function of the circuit may be changed after technology mapping, and equivalence checking (EC) based verification is highly necessary. The traditional EC method has significant time and resource constraints, making it only feasible to carry out at a coarse-grained level. To make it efficient for technology mapping, we propose a fine-grained method called MEC, which leverages a combination of two approaches to significantly reduce the time cost of verification. The local block verification approach performs fast verification and the global graph cover approach guarantees correctness. The proposed method is rigorously tested and compared to three EC tools, and the results show that MEC technique offers a substantial improvement in speed. MEC not only offers a faster and more efficient way of performing EC on technology mapping but also opens up new opportunities for more fine-grained verification in the future.
