Abstract:In this paper, we obtain sufficient conditions for the oscillation of all solutions of the second order nonlinear delay difference equationΔ[an(Δ(xn+pnxg(n)))α]+f(n,xσ(n))=0,where Δxn=xn+1−xn is the forward difference operator, {pn} is a sequence of nonnegative real numbers and α⩾1 is a quotient of positive odd integers. Our results extend and improve the known results in the literature. An example that dwell up the advantage of our results is included.

Abstract:We establish some new criteria for the oscillation of second-order Emden–Fowler neutral delay differential equations. We study the case of superlinear and the case of sublinear equations subject to various conditions. The results obtained show that the presence of a neutral term in a differential equation can cause or destroy oscillatory properties. Several examples are provided to illustrate the relevance of new theorems.

Abstract:The neutral delay differential equations have many applications in the natural sciences, technology, and population dynamics. In this paper, we establish several new oscillation criteria for a kind of even-order quasi-linear neutral delay differential equations. Comparing our results with those in the literature, our criteria solve more general delay differential equations with neutral type, and our results expand the range of neutral term coefficient. Some examples are given to illustrate our conclusions.
