Abstract:With the introduction of the medical equipment supervision and management regulations and other related systems, the supervision over medical equipment is also constantly enhanced. According to the large-scale equipment maintenance quality inspection among the medical institutions under Class II (including private ones), feedback of current situation has been collected and analyzed. Some suggestions are put forward to further improve the large-scale medical equipment maintenance quality, such as the establishment of core maintenance parameter tables, quality evaluation database and customer satisfaction evaluation.

Abstract:Objective To explore the key factors which affect maintenance cost of large-scale medical equipment. Methods The basic factors which affect maintenance cost of medical imagining equipment were summarized. The relationships of them are analyzed and then an interpretative structure mode of each factor was set. Additionally, the multiple relationship and controllability between each factor were also analyzed and the judging standard of key factors was set. Results The maintenance policy and mode were the key factors which affect maintenance cost of medical imagining equipment. Conclusion High quality maintenance for equipment condition and scientific optimization of the maintenance policy are necessary to fundamentally reduce the maintenance cost of large-scale medical equipment.

Abstract:Equipment management is an integral part of the health care delivery cycle. The absence or poor functioning of modern, safe, and effective medical devices and equipment reduces the volume and quality of medical services. Aim . The purpose of this study was to analyze existing approaches to medical equipment management in the practice of domestic and foreign health care. The content analysis was used as the methodological tool aimed at performing the analysis of foreign and domestic full-text sources in the PubMed/MEDLINE and eLIBRARY databases from 2002 to 2022. The authors of this study presented generalized principles, advantages, and disadvantages of equipment management as well as the experience of different countries in equipment management. Conclusions . 1) The problems of procurement, modernization, and maintenance of equipment in health care are as relevant as in other areas of activity. 2) There is currently a lack of a clear view of managers regarding the construction of resource management. 3) There is a lack of applied research in the domestic literature in the analysis of modern approaches to medical equipment management.

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the current situation of allocation and utilization of major medical equipment in China and make policy recommendations.Methods:Literature review and field survey methods were used to achieve the purpose.Results:The utilization of major medical equipment in the inpatients was higher than that in the outpatients.The service amount of CT was the biggest and service amount of major medical equipment decreased from east to west.Utilization efficiency varied among sample provinces(city),and positive detection rate was generally high.Excessive use and under use coexisted.Macro distribution and utilization management need to be improved.Conclusion:The macro-governance policy on major medical equipment should be optimized during the new health system reform.Some mechanisms for major medical equipment should be developed and improved,including distribution,investment,monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract:Objective: Strengthen the legal, compliant, and rational use of medical equipment and further guide the rationalization of medical behaviors. Methods: By utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) and image analysis technology, collect real-time operation data of the equipment, establish a real-time running database for medical equipment, and cooperate with the 12 key links of the "whole life" of the equipment and the 8+6 management system framework to implement lean management of the efficiency, benefit, and effectiveness of medical equipment usage. Results: It realizes the improvement of the quality and efficiency of medical equipment, cost reduction and cost control, and provides data support for scientific decision-making. Conclusion: This study innovates the management model for the entire life cycle of medical equipment, providing a scientific approach to the management of hospital equipment.

Abstract:Objective To introduce experience of major medical equipment management of foreign countries and provide reference for the perfection of major medical equipment management in China.Methods Information related to major medical equipment management were collected by browsing web sites of ministry of health or other in charge departments of several development countries and searching related information through Google Scholar search engine.Results The market access system of the Netherlands and Japan,etc,the monitoring and warning system for marketing equipments of EU,the recall mechanism for defective equipments of Canada,and the Certificate of Need System(CON) of the United States are all effective management experience for major medical equipment.Conclusion Management experience of market access system,marketing equipment monitoring and warning system,recall mechanism,as well as government's mandatory review and regulation of equipment configuration procedures can be the reference for the improvement of major medical equipment management in the new round of health reform in China.

Abstract:The cost-benefit analysis of medical equipment investment has been paid much more attention by the hospitals' decision makers. The overall planning should been strengthened before the introduction of equipments and doing a good job in market research contributes to exert equipments' effectiveness. The equipment use and management being strengthened can significantly reduce the costs and improve the efficiency and effectiveness,and furthermore,end-of-life equipment management are also important factors to reduce costs. The investigation is based on the same one among Grade II hospitals in Shanghai in 2007. Referring to the result of similar investigation in 2005,analysis and thinking from different aspects are showed to offer some reference in the future device assets management of hospitals.

Abstract:Objective:To explore the process of maintenance management for large medical equipment, and the structure design and core connotation of the maintenance management software of them.Methods: Medical linear accelerator of Precise series of Elekta company was combined to achieve the objective. From the aim of designing normal operation rate to start, the failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) was operated to analyze the maintenance strategies and maintenance manners which were established on the basis of PDCA(Plan, Do, Check, Action) cycle and the analysis mode of SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat), and it could achieve the aim of normal operation rate.Results: Through explored the connotation of maintenance management and the preliminary framework of the software of maintenance management, the detail and process of maintenance management that based on personalized accelerator of process control were established, and the element factors of software of maintenance management of accelerator also was established at the same time.Conclusion: The effective maintenance management of large medical equipment is based on informatization process management of process control, and the element factor of management software need personalized customization. On the other hand, failure mode and degradation mechanism of equipment were the basis for personalized customization, and the creation has practical value.
