Based on the current situation of pediatric clinical teaching in our Soochow University, the suggestions of how to improve the quality of pediatric clinical teaching are given.

Abstract:Clinical teaching is one of the important steps of pediatrics teaching.It is an important stage for the transition from medical students to medical workers.Good teaching method is a key to the medical students′successful transition and upgrade.In West China Second University Hospital , Sichuan University , it has implemented a series of teaching methods reform aiming to improve the clinical teaching quality of pediatrics and make the pediatric clinical teaching to a new level.

Abstract:At present,China higher education is gradually transforming from elite education to mass education.Therefore,stabilizing and improving the quality of education has become a major issue restricting the development of higher education.The key factors of this issue are the quality and level of the teaching staff.Most new teachers in medical colleges and universities are non-normal college graduates,lacking the necessary educational theories and teaching experience.Through examination and comprehensive assessment on the young teachers' internship performance,their teaching quality can be steadily improved.

Abstract:Clinical practice teaching plays a key role for international students to engage in medical care activities in clinical settings.Tongji hospital affiliated to Huazhong University of Science and Technology began to take the responsibility of clinical teaching for the international students in 2011.Some difficulties such as communication with the students,heavy work load of teachers,and teaching method and management were overcome.In this article the experience was introduced and some suggestions for improving the clinical teaching quality for international students were proposed.

Abstract:Objective With constantly deepening reform of medical education, ensuring and improving the quality of clinical practice attract great attention. This article aims to investigate the evaluation that the eight-year medical students in our hospital pay during the process of pediatric probation as well as practice and hold symposium periodically to solve problems found in probation and practice in time in order to improve teaching quality. Methods Self-designed anonymous questionnaires containing opinions to the process of practice and compared with probation were handed out and symposium was held periodically.Results After clinical practice, most students like pediatric, but only few want to be pediatrician. Most students are content to pediatric practice. What they do most content are chief physician' s teaching discussion, attending doctor' s clinical rounds and the residents' attitude of teaching. What they do not content are hospital facilities and little practical experience. Conclusions The students were generally content to pediatric practice and considered improve significantly compared with probation. But there are also some Postpone specialty selection time properly in order to avoid the interaction to the practice.

Abstract:With the increase of social demand, many non-clinical medical undergraduate majors appear in medical schools, but there is no national recognized standard of curriculum and there are some teaching problems. Pediatrics is a key subject of clinical teaching. Abstract:We conducted a questionnaire-based survey among medical students doing clinical practice at a medical university to investigate their overall feeling about pediatric clinical practice.Main problems in the teaching of current pediatric clinical practice were analyzed in order to carry out teaching reform addressing the problems and improve teaching quality.The results revealed that only 53.3% of the students felt they learned what they had expected to learn at the end of pediatric rotation.Both the teachers and the students were responsible for the problems in teaching activities.Therefore,more teacher-student communication and proper guidance are needed to achieve satisfactory teaching outcomes of ped-iatric clinical practice.

Abstract:Aiming at the existing problems in clinical teaching of medical undergraduates, such as inadequate teaching resources, limited clinical training opportunities, clinical teaching lack of standards, mixed teachers' teaching levels and non-standard evaluation systems, this article takes an example of Sun Yet-san University to introduce its practices and effects, including the construction of high-level clinical simulation platform, the cultivation of high-quality faculty, the optimization of "three-stage" clinical assessment, the establishment of uniform standards for practical teaching, and the enhancement of quality control during teaching process. The whole quality improvement program highlights the benefi cial guideline of early, adequate and repeated clinical practices.

Abstract:The clinical teaching of surgery for non-clinical students is an important content of medical education.The training purposes of non-clinical students and clinical students are different. In the clinical teaching practice of surgery, different teaching methods must be adopted,otherwise the teaching effect will be greatly reduced. At present, there are many problems in the surgical clinical teaching practice of non-clinical students, such as the lack of unified and standardized teaching mode. Teachers and students generally do not pay attention to surgical clinical teaching and so on. In view of the above reasons,this paper makes some thoughts on the surgical clinical teaching practice of non-clinical students, and puts forward relevant suggestions, including teaching hospitals should unify their understanding and strengthen the attention to non-clinical students. Combining teaching with the professional background of non-clinical students and establishing a "double teacher" system, that is,in addition to clinical surgery teachers, department personnel related to students are equipped as teaching auxiliary teachers to jointly complete relevant special teaching. Paying attention to the flexible application of various teaching modes, such as problem-based learning（PBL） and case-based learning（CBL）, and increasing the proportion of new surgical technology in teaching.Attaching importance to the use of new social media such as WeChat in the context of Internet +. Paying attention to the innovation of teaching feedback and assessment mechanism. Through the above thoughts and suggestions,we hope to provide some beneficial ideas for the surgical teaching reform and practice of non-clinical students in the future.

Abstract:Medical education is a vital factor for people to accept good health services. Clinical education plays an impor-tant role in the whole process of medical education, while youth clinical teacher is the backbone in the development of medical education. Abstract:Clinical practice, the process of combining theoretical knowledge with clinical diagnosis and treatment, has a profound effect on role transition of graduate students specialized ophthalmology. In order to improve the quality of clinical teaching, the author combined with the experience in clinical teaching for many years, made thoughts on the situation of clinical teaching and clinical methods in graduate students of ophthalmology. During the clinical practice, medical history collection and writing, the training of physician-patient communication and clinical operational ability and clinical thinking ability are the important contents that graduate students specialized ophthalmology should grasp. Aimed at the problems existed in these four aspects, the author put forward relevant measures to solve them, for instance, randomly checking medical records, teaching students how to communicate with patients, training operation of ophthalmology and developing clinical thinking ability by the application of PBL (Problem-based learning) united CBL (Case-based learning), to enhance medical humanity diathesis, arouse the enthusiasm and interests of studying, finally reach good effect.
