Abstract:As an important part of teaching skill, body language skill is closely related to teaching efficiency and quality. In order to solve the problems of traditional classroom-based skill training method that normal college students cannot obtain separate and decomposed training of different part of the body language skill, oriented from the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) concept, a body language skill training method is proposed for normal college students based on mobile learning and verified through teaching applications. The questionnaire results have shown that the proposed method can effectively improve the training efficiency of the normal college students and enhance their body language skill, thus could provide a new practical path for the future teacher skill training.

Abstract:Nonverbal communication has been an integrated part of teaching and learning. However, for quite a long time, too much attention has been paid to verbal communication in education with nonverbal communication being ignored for most of the time. In the era with various ICTs being used in education, research on nonverbal communication in education it is very important for both traditional classroom teaching and e-learning based on the rapid development of new technologies. Therefore, teachers’ nonverbal immediacy has become an interesting research topic to the scholars from many different disciplines, including Communication Studies, Education, Sociology, Psychology, etc. To find out the use of teacher’s nonverbal immediacies and their interrelationship with the effects of instructional communication, a paper-based survey based on stratified random sampling was conducted among university students in Dalian, a coastal city in Northeastern China. Out of the total responses collected, 534 were confirmed as valid. This study showed the current levels of different nonverbal immediacies used by university teachers. According to the findings, except for tactile and space sensation nonverbal immediacies, other nonverbal immediacies were of intermediate levels or relatively higher levels. As expected, most of the nonverbal immediacies were positively and significantly correlated with the effects of instructional communication. By using multiple nonverbal immediacies, including visual, audio, tactile and spatial immediacies, university teachers could boost various aspects of the learning effects among the university students, such as cognitive dimension, emotional dimension, and behavioral dimension. More attention should be paid to nonverbal communication as part of media literacy. Related trainings or workshops can be held for both students and teachers in order to make full use of various nonverbal immediacies. Facing the rapid development of more and more teaching methods with the aid of new information and communication technologies, such as MOOC (massive open online courses), nonverbal immediacies may continue to play an important role in teacher-student communication, thus future studies can compare and combine the findings of this study with the situations of online courses.

Abstract:The course Introduction to Linguistics aims at fostering students’ rational understanding of human languages, fortifying students’ linguistic and cultural awareness and critical thinking ability, and developing students’ language research awareness and interest. The article analyzes the status quo of Introduction to Linguistics teaching in some local colleges and universities in China, elaborates the application of project-based research-oriented learning to Introduction to Linguistics teaching in X University from the aspects of teaching design, teaching implementation and teaching assessment, examines its teaching effects through a case study involving students’ cognition and experience of the learning mode, the impact on students’ knowledge acquisition and ability development, and students’ evaluations about the teaching mode. The paper provides some pedagogical implications from the perspectives of teachers and students.

Abstract:In order to improve students’ learning effect, more and more universities favor foreign language teachers who are native speakers of English. Based on the analysis and summary of the research status of emotion recognition, this paper proposes that, in college English classroom teaching, foreign language teachers can reduce the communication barriers with Chinese students through emotion recognition. Based on literature review and actual situation investigation, this study identified four influencing factors on emotion recognition of foreign language teachers, namely, interactive action, facial expression, vocal emotion, and body posture. In our opinion, in the teaching process, teachers can adjust the four factors of emotion recognition to achieve better teaching effect. Further, improve students’ learning efficiency. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is chosen as the research method in this study. After building the analysis model, we collected the questionnaire using the Questionnaire Star, and finally got 12 valid data. After determining the importance of different factors by pairwise comparison, we draw the following conclusions: the influence degree of emotion recognition factors of foreign language teachers is in descending order, interactive action (43%), facial expression (28%), vocal emotion (21%), and body posture (9%). Our research adds to the body of knowledge on emotion recognition among college English teachers. Furthermore, this research assists students in improving their grasp of course content based on the emotions of foreign English lecturers. Based on the findings, we recommend that foreign language teachers in college English classrooms alter their interactive behaviors, facial expressions, and vocal emotions in response to various instructional materials and emphases.

Abstract:One of the significant courses in Chinese universities is English. This course is usually taught by a foreign language instructor. There will, however, necessarily be some communication hurdles between “foreign language teachers” and “native students.” This research presents an emotion recognition method for foreign language teachers in order to eliminate communication barriers between teachers and students and improve student learning efficiency. We discovered four factors of emotion recognition through literature analysis: smile, eye contact, gesture, and tone. We believe that differences in foreign language teachers’ performance in these four areas will have an impact on students’ emotion recognition and, as a result, on their learning efficiency. The influence of the foreign language teacher’s eye contact and gestures is larger (the weight of a single variable accounted for 30% or more) in the decision whether can improve the students’ classroom learning efficiency, according to 43 of the questionnaire data analysis. The second is the tone and smile (the weight of a single variable accounted for between 10 and 20%). Our research contributes to the body of knowledge on emotion recognition in university foreign language teachers by presenting a practical method for recognizing emotion in foreign language teachers. We recommend that college foreign language teachers pay attention to eye and gesture communication with students in English classrooms based on the findings. By enriching the style of emotional expression in class, college language teachers, particularly foreign language teachers, can improve communication, and connection with students.

Abstract:Abstract In recent years, with the development of computer linguistics and artificial intelligence technology in the field of English education, the research methods and technical means of artificial intelligence big data analysis have been introduced into the research and practice of foreign language teaching. As a new element, artificial intelligence big data analysis provides a new approach and research perspective for foreign language teaching. In order to solve the problems of foreign language teaching resources sharing, optimizing teaching resources, improve the efficiency of foreign language topic teaching, and improving the interaction between teachers and students, based on the theoretical and practical research of foreign language teaching in colleges and universities, this paper uses artificial intelligence and big data technology, firstly classifies the artificial intelligence system of foreign language teaching in colleges and universities, secondly, it classifies the information technology of artificial intelligence in high school. The ability of information storage and information processing in college foreign language teaching is analyzed theoretically in computer language. The software and hardware design of the artificial intelligence information integrated system of college foreign language teaching is carried out. The results show that: relying on the design of the storage module and system server, the hardware design of the system is realized, and the software design of the system is realized based on the system running environment design and database design. Finally, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of AI in foreign language teaching.

Abstract:Under the new situation, online live teaching has become one of the important teaching methods. The verbal interaction between teachers and students is an important explicit behavior in online live teaching. To further improve the quality of teacher-student verbal interaction in an online live classroom, this study constructs a speech interaction behavior coding system for teachers and students in an online live classroom, which is based on the ITIAS teacher-student interaction coding system and Bellack’s interaction structure theory. By observing the online live class of Luoyang No.56 middle school, conclusions are found in terms of interactive structure, the level of interaction, the interactive atmosphere, and the interactive dynamics. Online Classroom Language Between Teachers and Students infulences the effectiveness of the classes greatly. According to the study, the researcher put forward some strategies to improve the effectiveness of teacher-student verbal interaction in online live classrooms. The researcher believed that this research will give important guidance for the development of the school-based online live curriculum, and promote the development of the school-based online live curriculum.

Abstract:Interactive teaching method advocates that the best way to learn verbal communication is through verbal communication itself, and language will be effectively learned only when the learner's mental intelligence and language input interact with each other, and there are peech communications and social interactions between learners. However, before entering college or university, most of the English education accepted by students is based on the traditional teaching method, which is mainly the study of grammar rules and neglects the cultivation of the practical use of the language. As a result, even after learning English for many years, students still dare not communicate in English. Therefore, application of interactive teaching method in college English teaching becomes very important. On the basis of summarizing and analyzing previous study results, this paper expounds the current situation of college English teaching, the existing problems of traditional English teaching, the background and core connotation of interactive teaching method, analyzes the teaching model of college English based on interactive teaching method, and finally proposes the curriculum design of college English based on interactive teaching method. The research results of this paper provide a reference for further study on the application of interactive teaching method in college English teaching.

Abstract:Abstract The traditional English teaching is mainly dominated by the teacher and instilled in teaching. The students trained by this teaching mode have a low ability to acquire knowledge, and they often become dumb when they communicate with each other. With the continuous development of society, big data has been applied to all aspects of our life, constantly changing our existing education mode. Based on this, this paper establishes the teaching platform of English applied linguistics, and combines the teaching of English Applied Linguistics with big data in combination with the current teaching situation of English applied linguistics. In this paper, the students of grade 2020 are used as the control group, and the network teaching platform based on big data is used for teaching. The control group is the students of grade 2019, and the traditional teaching mode is used for teaching. More than 90% of the students’ oral ability can be improved by more than 90% of the students’ oral English in 2020.

This study aims to study the problems of university physical education classroom teaching from the perspective of the Internet mobile information system, find the problems existing in university physical education classroom teaching, reasonably solve the educational problems of university physical education classroom teaching, help the development of college sports, and help college students to carry out physical exercise and maintain a strong constitution. The methods adopted in this paper are as follows: firstly, inductive method is used to analyze the survey data; secondly, the case analysis method is used to study the characteristics of curriculum in colleges and universities; finally, after finding the existing problems, comparative research method is used to compare the influence of students, teachers, and leaders in charge on the existing education problems. The conclusion is the lack of theoretical guidance and concept carding in college physical education makes students not form a good lifelong sports consciousness; the positive influence of physical exercise on a person greatly promotes the development of personal lifelong sports; there are unreasonable phenomena in the arrangement of physical education teaching in colleges and universities. Abstract:As a college English teacher, the author has witnessed many teachers who focus on linguistic competence of students or high marks in academic examinations. It is one of the main reasons for low efficiency in college English teaching that nonverbal communication is neglected in daily classroom teaching. This paper deals with the necessity and importance of using nonverbal communication in college English teaching and examines the four categories of nonverbal communication which consist of body language, paralanguage, object language and environmental language. Furthermore, the author aims to figure out several tentative suggestions on how to cultivate students’ intercultural nonverbal communication competence in college English teaching.

Abstract:This study aims to explore the application of educational psychology in higher education and teaching, and analyze its influence on education and teaching. First of all, this paper combs and summarizes the relevant theories of educational psychology, and reveals the existing problems and challenges, such as students' lack of learning motivation and learning anxiety, by analyzing the current situation of education and teaching in colleges and universities. Then, this study uses the relevant theories and methods of educational psychology to design a series of intervention measures to improve the effect of education and teaching in colleges and universities. These measures include strategies to stimulate students' learning motivation and methods to alleviate learning anxiety. By implementing these intervention measures, applying the methods and theories of educational psychology in college education and teaching can effectively enhance students' learning interest and academic performance.
