Abstract:General conditions of China's thermal power plants in 2006-2007 are being reviewed on the aspects of air pollutant emission and the emission control.A scenario analysis has been carried out to study the total emission of SO_2 and NO_x from domestic coal-fired power plants in 2030,during which total SO_2 and NO_x emission as well as total SO_2 emission were calculated respectively with different emission standards and different operation rates of desulfurization equipment.Based on above study results,some suggestions are proposed for policy preparation on energy saving and environmental protection for coal-fired power plants before 2030.
