Design and Implementation of Power Quality Supervisory Information System Based on J2EE Platform

Abstract:Nowadays, it is a crucial requirement for power companies to ensure a high power quality in their electrical power services at the marketplace. In order to manage real-time supervision for power quality and electricity equipments for such companies, an integrated application platform, which called the Power Quality Supervisory Information System (PQSIS), was developed. Employing technologies such as GPRS, EJB, and JSP in the development, the PQSIS is fundamentally based on the J2EE multi-layer framework. There are many functions have been designed in the PQSIS, such as real-time power quality supervision, equipments management, employees management, historical data analysis, alarm info search, power quality analysis and estimation, etc. Having been put in practice after test in a company, the PQSIS has been proved to be efficient to run, feasible to replant, easy to maintain and upgrade.
