Abstract:Aim:To investigate the effect on the proliferation and morphology of the cultured PC 12 cells,and the induction of apoptosis on PC 12 cells by endosulfan.Methods:The various concentrations of MPP + and endosulfan were added to the cultured PC 12 cells for 24 h,the proliferation and morphology of the cells and the induction of apoptosis ratio of the cells by endosulfan and MPP + were observed using the TUNEL staining,FCM,EM technology.Results:① PC 12 cells were significantly decreased after exposure to 1 mmol·L -1MPP + and the morphology alse changed.With 0.03 mmol·L -1 endosulfan,cells were significantly decreased and the morphology of the cells were changed,the most obvious chang of PC 12 cell was in 0.1 mmol·L -1 endousulfan ②Both MPP + and endosulfan can induce PC 12 cells apoptosis.Under EM,Many of apoptotic cells and a few of necrotic cells can be identified in 0.06 mmol·L -1 endosulfan.Conclusion:Endosulfan had toxic effects on PC 12 cell.The possible mechanism may be related to the apoptosis of the cells.
