Abstract:In this paper, we introduce the concepts of points, prime elements and spectrums in generalized frames which are generalizations of the corresponding concepts of frames in the sense of category, and show that any generalized frame is a complete, complete, Cartesian closed category. Moreover, we say that the category of all points of a generalized frame is equivalent to the the category of all prime elements of the generalized frame, and study the functor relation between the category of generalized frames and the category of topology spaces. Finally, we prove that the spectrums of generalized frames are sober.
A COROTATIONAL UPDATED LAGRANGIAN FORMULATION FOR GEOMETRICALLY NONLINEAR ANALYSIS OF 2D FRAMES

Abstract:A method is presented for geometrically nonlinear analysis of 2D frames. An updated Lagrangian (UL) formulation is used to calculate the incremental nodal displacements, and incremental nodal forces are recovered by a corotational formulation whose configuration (Cr) is derived from a rigid-body motion of the last calculated configuration (C1) in equilibrium. Firstly, the equation of virtual work is expressed in terms of incremental nodal natural deformations in Cr; then, the relations are deduced between the incremental nodal natural deformations in Cr and the incremental nodal displacement vector in C1. Adopting the relations in the equation of virtual work, the tangent stiffness matrix for incremental nodal forces is obtained for Cr, and it can pass a rigid-body test. The analysis has considered the loaded deformations which will result in an additional matrix in the tangent stiffness matrix. The numerical examples show that: with fewer elements, the presented method can achieve similar precision to UL formulation; the matrix with respect to the loaded deformation can effectively improve the efficiency, but it may result in membrane locking if the deformation is large.

Abstract:In this paper,we generalize the concepts of frames,frame homomorphisms, quotient frames and nuclei in the sense of category,and show that the category of frames is a reflective subcategory of the category of generalized frames.Moreover,we discuss the relation between the quotients of a generalized frame A and the nucleus functors on A.In particular,we prove that the category N(A) of all nucleus functors on A is a generalized frame.

Abstract:In last decades, the operator theory of Krein spaces, Krein space approaches, and various generalizations of frames have interested many mathematicians due to their potential applications in mathematics and engineering. This paper addresses the frame theory for Krein spaces. We present some properties of J -orthonormal bases, Parseval frames and frames for Krein spaces, and a parametric expression of all duals of an arbitrarily given frame in Krein spaces. This study shows that the frame theory for Krein spaces is not a direct generalization of the frame theory for Hilbert spaces.

Abstract:This paper explores the concept of $K$-$g$-frames in locally $C^*$-algebras, which are shown to be more general than $g$-frames. The authors first introduce the notion of a $g$-orthonormal basis and utilize it to define the $g$-operator, a crucial element for studying the construction of $K$-$g$-frames in locally $C^*$-algebras. The paper establishes a relationship between $g$-frames and $K$-$g$-frames and introduces the $K$-dual $g$-frame along with its properties. Finally, the authors characterize $K$-$g$-frames through two other related concepts.

Abstract:Frame theory is a powerful tool in the domain of signal processing and communication. Among its numerous configurations, the ones which have drawn much attention recently are Equiangular Tight Frame (ETF) and Grassmannian Frame. These frames both have some kind of optimality in coherence, thus bring robustness or optimal performance in applications such as digital fingerprint, erasure channels, and Compressive Sensing. However, too strict constraint on existence and construction of ETF and Grassmannian Frame became the main obstacle for widespread use. In this paper, we propose a new configuration of frame: Quasi-Equiangular Frame, as a compromise but more convenient and flexible approximation of ETF and Grassmannian Frame. We will give formal definition of Quasi-Equiangular Frame and analyze its relationship with ETF and Grassmannian frame. Furthermore, for popularity of ETF and Grassmannian frame in Compressive Sensing, we utilize the technique of random matrices to obtain asymptotical concentration estimation of the Restricted Isometry Constant (RIC) of Quasi-Equiangular Frame with respect to its key parameter.

In this present article, we introduce the atomic $g$-system and we generalize some of the known results in continuous $L$-frames, weaving continuous and weaving continuous $ g$-frames, also we study weaving continuous $ L$-$g$-frames in Hilbert spaces.

Abstract:This paper addresses the Hilbert–Schmidt frame (HS-frame) theory. We introduce the concept of generalized dual HS-frame (g-dual HS-frame) which generalizes that of g-dual frame. We prove that two equivalent HS-frames form a g-dual HS-frame pair, characterize operators on that transform a pair of HS-Riesz bases into a g-dual HS-frame pair, and present a parametric expression of all g-dual HS-frames of an arbitrarily given HS-frame. Also the perturbation-stability and topological properties of g-dual HS-frames are investigated. Finally, applying our results, we not only recover some known results but also derive some new results in the classical Hilbert space frame setting.

Abstract:A definition of frames in Krein spaces is proposed which extends the concept of $J$-frames defined by J.I. Giribet et al., J. Math. Anal. Appl. ${\textbf{393}}$ (2012), 122-137. The principal difference consists in the fact that a $J$-frame is related to maximal definite subspaces $\mathcal{M}_\pm$ which are not assumed to be uniformly definite. The latter allows one to extend the collection of $J$-frames. In particular, some complete $J$-orthogonal sequences and $J$-orthogonal Schauder bases can be interpreted as $J$-frames.

Abstract:In the present paper, some sufficient and necessary conditions for two frames $\Phi=(\varphi_n)_n$ and $\Psi=(\psi_n)_n$ under which they are approximately or generalized dual frames are determined depending on the properties of their analysis and synthesis operators. We also give a new characterization for approximately dual frames associated with a given frame and given operator by using of bounded operators. Among other things, we prove that if two frames $\Phi=(\varphi_n)_n$ and $\Psi=(\psi_n)_n$ are close to each other, then we can find approximately dual frames $\Phi^{ad}=(\varphi^{ad}_n)_n$ and $\Psi^{ad}=(\psi^{ad}_n)_n$ of them which are close to each other and $T_\Phi U_{\Phi^{ad}}=T_\Psi U_{\Psi^{ad}}$, where $T_\Phi$ and $T_\Psi$ (resp. $U_{\Phi^{ad}}$ and $U_{\Psi^{ad}}$) are the analysis operators (resp. synthesis operators) of the frames $\Phi$ and $\Psi$ (resp. $\Phi^{ad}$ and $\Psi^{ad}$), respectively. We then give some consequences on generalized dual frames. Finally, we apply these results to find some construction results for approximately dual frames for a given Gabor frame.

Abstract:Bi-g-frame, was introduced as a pair of operator sequences, could obtain a new reconstruction formula for elements in Hilbert spaces. In this paper we aim at studying the characterizations and constructions of bi-g-frames. For a bi-g-frame , the relationship between the sequence and the sequence is very crucial, we are devoted to characterizing bi-g-frames, whose component the sequences are g-Bessel sequences, g-frames and so on. Then we discuss the construction of new bi-g-frames, we show that bi-g-frames can be constructed by specific operators, dual g-frames and g-dual frames. Especially, we also study those bi-g-frames for which one of the constituent sequences is a g-orthonormal basis.

Abstract:We introduce a new class of frames with strong symmetry properties called geometrically uniform frames (GU), that are defined over an abelian group of unitary matrices and are generated by a single generating vector. The notion of GU frames is then extended to compound GU (CGU) frames which are generated by an abelian group of unitary matrices using multiple generating vectors. The dual frame vectors and canonical tight frame vectors associated with GU frames are shown to be GU and therefore generated by a single generating vector, which can be computed very efficiently using a Fourier transform defined over the generating group of the frame. Similarly, the dual frame vectors and canonical tight frame vectors associated with CGU frames are shown to be CGU. The impact of removing single or multiple elements from a GU frame is considered. A systematic method for constructing optimal GU frames from a given set of frame vectors that are not GU is also developed. Finally, the Euclidean distance properties of GU frames are discussed and conditions are derived on the abelian group of unitary matrices to yield GU frames with strictly positive distance spectrum irrespective of the generating vector.

Abstract:Weaving frames have potential applications in wireless sensor networks that require distributed processing of signals under different frames. In this paper, we study some new properties of weaving generalized frames (or g-frames) and weaving generalized orthonormal bases (or g-orthonormal bases). It is shown that a g-frame and its dual g-frame are woven. The inter-relation of optimal g-frame bounds and optimal universal g-frame bounds is studied. Further, we present a characterization of weaving g-frames. Illustrations are given to show the difference in properties of weaving generalized Riesz bases and weaving Riesz bases.

Abstract:Frames are the most natural generalization of orthonormal bases that allow the inclusion of redundant systems. In this article, we introduce the concept of frames generated by graphs in finite-dimensional spaces and study their properties. Let $G$ be a simple graph of $n$ vertices with Laplacian matrix $L$. We define the notions of $G(n,k)$-frames and $L_G(n,k)$-frames associated with the graph $G$. We obtain the family of dual frames of $L_G(n,k)$-frames and $G(n,k)$-frames. It is shown that non-regular graphs cannot generate tight frames. Then we establish a characterization of tight $G(n,k)$-frames in terms of the adjacency spectra of regular graphs. Besides, we provide a frame theoretic proof of an existing graph property. Finally, we show that one can use complete graphs to generate tight frames.
