Abstract:We study $$ \overline{q} $$q-hybrid mixing for the light vector mesons and $$ \overline{q} $$q-glueball mixing for the light scalar mesons in Monte-Carlo based QCD Laplace sum rules. By calculating the two-point correlation function of a vector $$ \overline{q} $$γμq (scalar $$ \overline{q} $$q) current and a hybrid (glue- ball) current we are able to estimate the mass and the decay constants of the corresponding mixed “physical state” that couples to both currents. Our results do not support strong quark/gluonic mixing for either the 1−− or the 0++ states.

Abstract: We calculate the coupling constants between the light vector mesons and heavy mesons within the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rule in the leading order of heavy quark effective theory. The sum rules are very stable with the variations of the Borel parameter and the continuum threshold. The extracted couplings will be useful in the study of the possible heavy meson molecular states. They may also helpful in the interpretation of the proximity of X(3872), Y(4260) and Z(4430) to the threshold of two charmed mesons through the couple-channel mechanism.

Abstract:The light scalar meson nonet above 1 GeV ({\it i.e.\}the $a_{0}$, $K^{\ast}_{0}$ and $f_{0}$) are studied within the framework of QCD sum rules. In conventional QCD sum rules, the calculated masses of this nonet are degenerate, and the mass of $K^{\ast}_{0}$ is always larger than the $a_{0}$ in contradiction with the observed spectrum. After improving the correlation function by including instanton effects, the masses are well separated from each other. In particular, our results shows glueball content plays an important role in the underlying structure of $f_{0}(1500)$. The decay constants are also discussed.

Constraint on the Light Quark Mass M(Q) from Qcd Sum Rules in the I=0 Scalar Channel

Abstract:In this paper, we reanalyze the I = 0 scalar channel with the improved Monte-Carlo-based QCD sum rules, which combines the rigorous Holder-inequality-determined sum rule window and a parametrization with two-Breit-Wigner-type resonances for the phenomenological spectral density that satisfies the low-energy theorem for the scalar form factor. Considering the uncertainties of the QCD parameters and the experimental masses and widths of the scalar resonances sigma and f(0)(980), we obtain a prediction for light quark mass m(q) (2 GeV) = 1/2 (m(u)(2 GeV) + m(d)(2 GeV)) = 4.7(-0.7)(+0.8) MeV, which is consistent with the Particle Data Group value and QCD sum rule determinations in the pseudoscalar channel. This agreement provides a consistent framework connecting QCD sum rules and low-energy hadronic physics. We also obtain the decay constants of sigma and f(0)(980) at 2 GeV, which are approximately 0.64-0.83 and 0.40-0.48 GeV, respectively.
The $0^{++}$ and $0^{-+}$ mass of light-quark hybrid in QCD sum rules

Abstract:We calculate masses of the light-quark hybrid mesons with the quantum number $0^{++}$ and $0^{-+}$ by using the QCD sum rules. Two kinds of the interpolated currents with the same quantum number are employed. We find that the approximately equal mass is predicted for the $0^{-+}$ hybrid state from the different current and the different mass is obtained for the $0^{++}$ hybrid state from the different current. The prediction depends on the interaction between the gluon and quarks in the low-lying hybrid mesons. The mixing effect on the mass of the light-quark hybrid meson through Low-energy theorem has been examined too, and it is found that this mixing shifts the mass of hybrid meson and glueball a little.

Abstract:Axial vector (J(PC) = 1(++)) charmonium and bottomonium hybrid masses are determined via QCD Laplace sum-rules. Previous sum-rule studies in this channel did not incorporate the dimension-six gluon condensate, which has been shown to be important for 1(--) and 0(-+) heavy quark hybrids. An updated analysis of axial vector charmonium and bottomonium hybrids is presented, including the effects of the dimension-six gluon condensate. The axial vector charmonium and bottomonium hybrid masses are predicted to be 5.13 and 11.32 GeV, respectively. We discuss the implications of this result for the charmonium-like 'XYZ' states and the charmonium hybrid multiplet structure observed in recent lattice calculations.

Abstract:We present an improved calculation of the $D_{(s)}^*D_{(s)}V$ and $B_{(s)}^*B_{(s)}V$ coupling constants, where $V$ denotes $\rho$, $K^\ast$, $\omega$, and $\phi$ meson. These couplings govern the QCD long-distance dynamics in interactions between heavy pseudoscalar/vector mesons and light vector mesons. Our analysis is conducted within the framework of QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSRs) by utilizing the light-cone distribution amplitudes (LCDAs) of light vector mesons. By systematically incorporating the subleading power corrections and higher-twist contributions at leading order (LO) and including the next-to-leading order (NLO) corrections at leading power, we achieve enhanced accuracy in the light-cone operator product expansion (OPE) for the underlying correlation function. In assessing the reliability of the established LCSRs, we consider uncertainties arising from the choice of the quark-hadron duality region in the double dispersion relation. Building upon these improvements, we accomplish an optimized computation and analysis for the strong coupling constants $g_{H^\ast HV}$ which are used to extract the effective coupling $\lambda$ in the heavy meson chiral perturbation theory (HM$\chi$PT). Furthermore, we investigate the $SU(3)$ flavour symmetry breaking effects in detail and compare our sum rule calculations with previous studies in an exploratory way.

Abstract:We summarize the current theoretical and experimental status of the spectral changes of vector mesons ($\rho$, $\omega$, $\phi$) in nuclear medium. Various approaches including QCD sum rules, effective theory of hadrons and bag models show decreasing of the vector meson masses in nuclear matter. Possibility to detect the mass shift through lepton pairs in $\gamma-A$, $p-A$ and $A-A$ reactions are also discussed.

Abstract:We improve the Monte-Carlo based QCD sum rules by introducing the rigorous Hölder-inequality-determined sum rule window and a Breit-Wigner type parametrization for the phenomenological spectral function. In this improved sum rule analysis methodology, the sum rule analysis window can be determined without any assumptions on OPE convergence or the QCD continuum. Therefore, an unbiased prediction can be obtained for the phenomenological parameters (the hadronic mass and width etc.). We test the new approach in the ρ meson channel with re-examination and inclusion of αs corrections to dimension-4 condensates in the OPE. We obtain results highly consistent with experimental values. We also discuss the possible extension of this method to some other channels.

The light cone QCD sum rules are derived for the pi NN coupling g(pi NN) and the pi NN(1535) coupling g(pi NN*). The contribution from the excited states and die continuum is subtracted cleanly through the double Borel transform with respect to the two external momenta p(1)(2), p(2)(2)=(p-q)(2). We first improve the original sum rule for g(pi NN) and determine the value of the pion wave function phi(pi)(u(0) = 1/2) = 1.5+/-0.2, which is a fundamental nonperturbative quantity similar to the quark condensate. Our calculation shows that the pi NN(1535) coupling is strongly suppressed. [S0556-2813(99)00301-5].

The contribution from the excited states and the continuum is subtracted cleanly through the double Borel transform with respect to the two external momenta. p(1)(2),p(2)(2) = (p - q)(2). Our result is alpha (eta NN) = (0.3+/-0.15), which favors small values used in the literature.

Abstract:In this article, we calculate the vector form factors $f^+_{K\pi}(Q^2)$ and $f^-_{K\pi}(Q^2)$ within the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules approach. The numerical values of the $f^+_{K\pi}(Q^2)$ are compatible with the existing theoretical calculations, the central value of the $f^+_{K\pi}(0)$, $f^+_{K\pi}(0)=0.97$, is in excellent agreement with the values from the chiral perturbation theory and lattice QCD. The values of the $|f^-_{K\pi}(0)|$ are very large comparing with the theoretical calculations and experimental data, and can not give any reliable predictions. At large momentum transfers with $Q^2> 5GeV^2$, the form factors $f^+_{K\pi}(Q^2)$ and $|f^-_{K\pi}(Q^2)|$ can either take up the asymptotic behavior of $\frac{1}{Q^2}$ or decrease more quickly than $\frac{1}{Q^2}$, more experimental data are needed to select the ideal sum rules.

Abstract:In this article, we study the vertices $D^*D^*P$, $D^*DV$ and DDV with the light-cone QCD sum rules. The strong coupling constants g_{D^*D^*P}, g_{D^*DP}, f_{D^*DV}, f_{D^*D^*V}, g_{DDV} and g_{D^*D^*V} play an important role in understanding the final-state interactions in the hadronic B decays. They relate to the basic parameters g, $\lambda$ and $\beta$ in the heavy quark effective Lagrangian respectively. Our numerical values of the g, $\beta$ and $\lambda$ are much smaller than most of the existing estimations. If the predictions from the light-cone QCD sum rules are robust, the final-state interaction effects maybe overestimated in the hadronic B decays.

Abstract:In this work, we study the four form-factors $f_1(Q^2)$, $f_2(Q^2)$, $g_1(Q^2)$ and $g_2(Q^2)$ of the $\Sigma \to n$ in the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules approach up to twist-6 three valence quark light-cone distribution amplitudes. The $f_1(0)$ is the basic input parameter in extracting the CKM matrix element $|V_{us}|$ from the hyperon decays. The four form-factors $f_1(Q^2)$, $f_2(Q^2)$, $g_1(Q^2)$ and $g_2(Q^2)$ at intermediate and large momentum transfers with $Q^2> 3 GeV^2$ have significant contributions from the end-point (soft) terms. The numerical values of the four form-factors $f_1(0)$, $f_2(0)$, $g_1(0)$ and $g_2(0)$ are compatible with the experimental data and theoretical calculations (in magnitude); although the uncertainties are large.

Abstract:In this article, we analyze the vertices DDsK, D ∗ sDK, D0DsK and Ds0DK within the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules approach in an unified way. The strong coupling constants GD∗DsK and GD∗ s DK are important parameters in evaluating the charmonium absorption cross sections in searching for the quark-gluon plasmas, our numerical values of the GD∗DsK and GD∗ s DK are compatible with the existing estimations although somewhat smaller, the SU(4) symmetry breaking effects are very large, about 60%. For the charmed scalar mesons D0 and Ds0, we take the point of view that they are the conventional cū and cs̄ mesons respectively, and calculate the strong coupling constants GD0DsK and GDs0DK with the vector interpolating currents. The numerical values of the scalar-DsK and -DK coupling constants GD0DsK and GDs0DK are compatible with the existing estimations, the large values support the hadronic dressing mechanism. Furthermore, we study the dependence of the four strong coupling constants GD∗DsK , GD∗ s DK , GD0DsK and GDs0DK on the non-perturbative parameter a4 of the twist-2 K meson light-cone distribution amplitude.
