Associations between ADIPOQ gene polymorphisms and coronary artery disease risk: An updateThrombosis ResearchVol. 130Issue 1PreviewWe read with great interest the two similar meta-analyses by Zhou et al. [1] and Yang et al. [2], which assessed the associations of several polymorphisms (+45 T/C, +276 G/T, −11377 C/G, −4034A/C) in the ADIPOQ gene with risk of coronary artery disease (CAD). The first article by Zhou et al. [1] reported that there was a statistically significant association between −11377 C/G polymorphism and CAD risk. However, no significant association was found for +45 T/G or +276 G/T polymorphism. The other study by Yang et al. Full-Text PDF
