Abstract:We provide the overview of the papers dealing with the growth of the liquid droplet. The purpose is to put the paper "Postnucleation droplet growth in supersaturated gas with arbitrary vapor concentration" [V. Pines, M. Zlatkowski, and A. Chait, J. Chem. Phys. 120, 10455 (2004)] in the right historical context. The original paper and this comment point the correct condensation formula to the atmospheric science community.
