Abstract:This paper presents an object-oriented system architecture based on analysis of currently available CAD systems. Within this architecture, the concept of data and execution are united as objects, so the openness of system is guaranteed fundamentally. The constitutes of this architecture and its open characteristics are described. The basic resource definition of CAD system is also considered, and finally, the overall development procedure based on this architecture is discussed and implemented in GHMDS, which is the largest software product of CAD in China.

Abstract:With the rapid growth of data, two major challenges are taking place in digital library technologies. One is the transition from database to Data Ocean; the other is the transition from digital library to Smart Library. In order to address these challenges, we propose a scalable, adaptive, self-management, fault-tolerant architecture for various services in the digital library. Users can deploy services quite easily on the architecture, and it also enables the deployed services load balancing, scalable, adaptive and fault-tolerant. The practice in CADAL demonstrates the feasibility and efficiency of our architecture.

Abstract:There are two issues involved in designing the architecture of the engineering database management systems (EDBMS), the first one is what kind of client/server architecture is to be employed to make the proper distribution of functions between client and server, and the second one is what kind of concurrent control algorithm is to be used to ensure the consistency of the caching data at clients. The three data-shipping type client/server architectures, i.e. object-server, page-server and file-server, were discussed in structure, basic functions, characteristics and performance analysis. The various concurrent control algorithms for cache consistency were studied as well. The scheme of architecture of the EDBMS, named OSCAR, was introduced.

Abstract:Most recently, attention has focused on adaptive interface in the human-computer interface domain. This paper presents an architecture of adaptive interface and its implementation. In this paper, we first introduce several fundamental concepts of adaptive interface, then an architecture of adaptive interface is designed based on the analysis of these concepts. The structure and technology of this architecture are discussed in detail. This architecture is applied to GS-ICCC, which is an integrated CAD/CAPP/CAM system. This paper also describes some details when implementing this architecture. The adaptive architecture of GS-ICCC has been implemented based on X-Window/Motif environments. It has proved to be highly efficient.

Abstract:In order to better support product development and design for Mass Customization (MC), the key integration technologies of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Product Data Manage- ment (PDM) system were studied. Focusing on the data integration of part, the data model of part family and data mapping logic of CAD and PDM systems integration were discussed. The system integration architecture was put forward as well. Then several main function interfaces were developed including coding module interface, setting up tabular layouts of article characteristics and registration interface from CAD model to PDM. Finally, an application example was provided to verify the feasibility of principle and system.

Abstract:Software architectures are considered the key means to manage the complexity of large-scale systems from the high abstraction levels and system-wide perspectives. The traditional software design methodologies and the emerging architecture design methods still fall short of coping with the architectural complexity and difficulty in practice. The recent research on the architecture design decisions mostly focuses on its representation, providing little support for the architecture design task itself. In this paper we propose a decision-oriented architecture design approach ABC/DD, based on the decision-abstraction and issue-decomposition principles specific to the architecture level design of software. The approach models software architecture from the perspective of design decisions, and accomplishes the architecture design from eliciting architecturally significant design issues to exploiting and making decisions on the solutions for these issues. We illustrate the application of the approach with two real-life large-scale software-intensive projects, showing that the decision-oriented approach accommodates the characteristics and demands of the architecture level, and facilitates the design of architecture and the capture of the essential decisions for large complex systems.

Abstract:This research proposes a logical model of computer-supported collaborative work in architectural design, and discusses the collaborative control, collaborative objects, and data management based on the characteristics of the collaborative work goal, implementation process, and control mechanism of architectural design. And local patterns such as design changes. At the same time, the article puts forward a new architectural CAD system 3DMECAD with a three-Model Of Collaborative Work dimensional modeling engine as the core, and demonstrates the system structure, modeling engine concepts and algorithms of the system. This article discusses the basic design ideas, structural system and specific implementation technology of 3DMECAD. The system has the advantages of high integration, strong applicability, and high reliability. It can complete various tasks in the whole process of architectural design and has a wide range of application prospects.

Abstract:Considering the Characteristics of architecture scheme design, a new approach based on support housing design scheme is presented. It supports generating the visual presentation from the abstract scheme, and supports the semiautomatic modification at multiple abstract levels of representation scheme, which makes the CAD system more powerful and easier to use. The approach has been implemented in a CAAD (Computer Aided Architecture Design) system.

Abstract:A scheme of an integrated CAD system is presented. The structure of the system and the major functions of its ten subsystems are sketched. This CAD system is centered around the database and oriented to the entire designing process of the digital system. It consists of ten functional subsystems, each of which is used to perform a specific task in the digital system design. One of the main features of the architecture of the system is that all of the functional subsystems are not interconnected with each other, but connected individually with the central CAD database. This system operates with great flexibility and offers apprent practical advatages. The user can employ any one of the functional subsystems whenever needed.

Abstract:The design information provided by feature based modeling facilitates bridging the gap between engineering design and manufacturing. This paper, based on the feature modeling system ZD_MCADII, introduces the function requirements and general architecture of a modern CAD system, and proposes a scheme of combining geometric modeling with feature modeling, and combining feature based design with feature recognition. It also offers an approach of implementing feature edition and feature library based on spatial constraints.

Abstract:Architecture plays an important role in information systems.It not only determines the function and performance of a system, but the system efficiency and security as well.Therefore, the architecture directly determines the advanced nature of an information system.On the basis of introducing the concept of architecture, this paper summarizes the development of architecture, and points out that the rigidity of architecture is the essential reason behind why current information systems cannot tradeoff between flexibility and high efficiency.A new generation of software-defined architecture, which is characterized by software-defined interconnections and software-defined nodes, is proposed.Three typical systems, Web service, password recovery and image recognition, are realized based on a software-defined architecture.Compared with the traditional general systems, the comparison tests show that the performance of the software-defined architecture system increased by 29.4 to 344.5 times, and the efficiency increased by 13.7 to 315.4 times, which demonstrates the high flexibility and high efficiency of software-defined architecture.

Abstract:Aiming at the faults that the current electrical equipments maintenance and CAA system can not design experiment report or compatible heterogeneous database,this paper gives a software architecture with data abstraction and object oriented style connection with system style,on which an electrical equipments maintenance and CAA system is designed.The system,with FrontPage designing its experimental report, dynamically generates experiment report,builds database table,and adds entity domain object by using technologies of Hibernate,HtmlParser, XML.The system is compatible with heterogeneous database.A key code for system realization is given.

Abstract:Context - The exponential growth of data is becoming a significant concern. Managing this data has become incredibly challenging, especially when dealing with various sources in different formats and speeds. Moreover, Ensuring data quality has become increasingly crucial for effective decision-making and operational processes. Data Architecture is crucial in describing, collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing data to meet business needs. Providing an abstract view of data-intensive applications is essential to ensure that the data is transformed into valuable information. We must take these challenges seriously to ensure we can effectively manage and use the data to our advantage. Objective - To establish an architecture framework that enables a comprehensive description of the data architecture and effectively streamlines data quality monitoring. Method - The architecture framework utilizes Model Driven Engineering (MDE) techniques. Its backing of data-intensive architecture descriptions empowers with an automated generation for data quality checks. Result - The Framework offers a comprehensive solution for data-intensive applications to model their architecture efficiently and monitor the quality of their data. It automates the entire process and ensures precision and consistency in data. With DAT, architects and analysts gain access to a powerful tool that simplifies their workflow and empowers them to make informed decisions based on reliable data insights. Conclusion - We have evaluated the DAT on more than five cases within various industry domains, demonstrating its exceptional adaptability and effectiveness.

In this tool demo paper, we present the DAT, a model-driven engineering tool enabling data architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to describe how data flows through the system and provides a blueprint for managing data that saves time and effort dedicated to Data Architectures for IoT applications. Abstract:As the scale, shape and function of engineering construction projects become more and more complex, the design of building systems has become more and more complex.In order to help students better acquire course resource information, effectively demonstrate the teaching process, and help students understand the curriculum and learn effectively, this paper designs an Auto CAD network architecture design teaching system.We analyze and compare the teaching model based on the network architecture design teaching system, and introduce the cluster analysis to the course resource management.An Auto CAD model was constructed through collaborative design among professionals based on Auto CAD technology.We analyze and compare the characteristics of traditional 2D design and inter-professional collaborative design based on Auto CAD technology, and select appropriate 3D simulation software for inter-professional collaborative design.The teaching of Auto CAD architectural design course proposed in this paper has certain innovation and practicability, and puts forward some constructive suggestions on the solution of the problem.

Abstract:The direction of mechanical design is now experiencing the trends of resource globalization, design customization and demand for cheap computing. Successful integration and collaboration are very important for design systems. Currently many researches focus on client-server structure to keep the data consistent and neutral. This paper discusses the issues and techniques to build a framework to support integration and collaboration in a distributed design environment. Overview of the system architecture and modules of the framework are presented to explain the method for CAD software wrapping and management of design models. The concept of a function block module to integrate different analysis tools and a search engine to find the analysis path for design problems are also presented. A reverse engineering project is used as an example to describe how design process works in a distributed manner.
