Abstract:We show a priori L ∞ estimates for the solutions of the complex Monge- Ampere equation with respect to a sequence of Kahler forms degenerating in the limit. This is applied to prove the existence of generalized Kahler-Einstein metrics for some holomorphic fibrations by Calabi-Yau manifolds.

Abstract:We prove a relative $L^\infty$ estimate for a class of complex Monge-Ampère type equations on Kähler manifolds. It provides a unified approach to Tundinger type estimate and uniform estimate. It also improves the previous results about modulus of continuity, stability estimates, and $W^{1,1}$-estimates of Green's functions. The argument is based on the PDE method developed by Guo-Phong-Tong and constructing appropriate comparison metrics from entropy bound.

Abstract:We study the asymptotics of complete Kaehler-Einstein metrics on strictly pseudoconvex domains in C^n and derive a convergence theorem for solutions to the corresponding Monge-Ampere equation. If only a portion of the boundary is analytic, the solutions satisfy Gevrey type estimates for tangential derivatives. A counterexample for the model linearized equation suggests that there is no local convergence theorem for the complex Monge-Ampere equation

Abstract:We consider the complex Monge–Ampère equation on a compact Kähler manifold (M, g) when the right hand side F has rather weak regularity. In particular we prove that estimate of ${\triangle \phi}$ and the gradient estimate hold when F is in ${W^{1, p_0}}$ for any p 0 > 2n. Abstract:The Kähler-Ricci flow is studied on compact Kähler manifolds with positive first Chern class, where it reduces to a parabolic complex Monge-Ampere equation. It is shown that the flow converges to a Kähler-Einstein metric if the curvature remains bounded along the flow, and if the manifold is stable in an algebro-geometric sense. On a compact Calabi-Yau manifold there is a unique Ricci-flat Kähler metric in each Kähler cohomology class, produced by Yau solving a complex Monge-Ampere equation. The behaviour of these metrics when the class degenerates to the boundary of the Kähler cone is studied. The problem splits into two cases, according to whether the total volume goes to zero or not. On a compact symplectic four-manifold Donaldson has proposed an analog of the complex Monge-Ampère equation, the Calabi-Yau equation. If solved, it would lead to new results in symplectic topology. We solve the equation when the manifold is nonnegatively curved, and reduce the general case to bounding an integral of a scalar function.

Abstract:In this paper, we use the Sobolev type inequality in Wang et al. (Moser–Trudinger inequality for the complex Monge–Ampère equation, arXiv:2003.06056v1 (2020)) to establish the uniform estimate and the Hölder continuity for solutions to the complex Monge–Ampère equation with the right-hand side in $$L^p$$ for any given $$p>1$$ . Our proof uses various PDE techniques but not the pluripotential theory.

Abstract:We prove a C1,1 estimate for solutions of complex Monge–Ampère equations on compact Kähler manifolds with possibly nonempty boundary, in a degenerate cohomology class. This strengthens previous estimates of Phong–Sturm. As applications we deduce the local C1,1 regularity of geodesic rays in the space of Kähler metrics associated to a test configuration, as well as the local C1,1 regularity of quasi-psh envelopes in nef and big classes away from the non-Kähler locus.

Abstract:In the category of metrics with conical singularities along a smooth divisor with angle in (0, 2 pi), we show that locally defined weak solutions (C-1,C-1 solutions) to the Kahler-Einstein equations actually possess maximum regularity, which means the metrics arc actually Wilder continuous in the singular polar coordinates. This shows the weak Kahler-Einstein metrics constructed by Guenancia-Paun, and independently by Yao, are all actually strong-conical Kahler-Einstein metrics. The key step is to establish a Liouville-type theorem for weak-conical Kahler-Ricci flat metrics defined over C-n, which depends on a Calderon-Zygmund theory in the conical setting. The regularity of globally defined weak-conical Kahler-Einstein metrics is already proved by Guenancia-Paun using a different method.

Abstract:We prove a C-1,C-1 estimate for solutions of complex Monge-Ampere equations on compact almost Hermitian manifolds. Using this C-1,C-1 estimate, we show the existence of C-1,C-1 solutions to the degenerate Monge-Ampere equations, the corresponding Dirichlet problems and the singular Monge-Ampere equations. We also study the singularities of the pluricomplex Green's function. In addition, the proof of the above C-1,C-1 estimate is valid for a kind of complex Monge-Ampere-type equation. As a geometric application, we prove the C-1,C-1 regularity of geodesics in the space of Sasakian metrics.

Abstract:A complex Monge-Ampère equation for differential $(p,p)$ forms is introduced on compact Kähler manifolds. For any $1 \leq p < n$, we show the existence of smooth solutions unique up to adding constants. For $p=1$, this corresponds to the Calabi-Yau theorem proved by S. T. Yau, and for $p=n-1$, this gives the Monge-Ampère equation for $(n-1)$ plurisubharmonic functions solved by Tosatti-Weinkove. For other $p$ values, this defines a non-linear PDE that falls outside of the general framework of Caffarelli-Nirenberg-Spruck. Further, we define a geometric flow for higher-order forms that preserves their cohomology classes, and extends the Kähler-Ricci flow naturally to $(p,p)$ forms. As a consequence of our main theorem, we show that this flow exists in a maximal time interval and can be shown to converge under some assumptions. A modified flow is introduced in order to study the evolution of Hodge classes of $M$ with respect to the rational span of Chern classes of holomoprhic vector bundles. The convergence of the associated normalized flow is shown and some potential applications are discussed.

Sharp $\mathrm{L}^\infty$ estimates for fully non-linear elliptic equations on compact complex manifolds

Abstract:We study the sharp $\mathrm{L}^\infty$ estimates for fully non-linear elliptic equations on compact complex manifolds. For the case of Kähler manifolds, we prove that the oscillation of any admissible solution to a degenerate fully non-linear elliptic equation satisfying several structural conditions can be controlled by the $\mathrm{L}^1(\log\mathrm{L})^n(\log\log\mathrm{L})^r(r>n)$ norm of the right-hand function (in a regularized form). This result improves that of Guo-Phong-Tong. In addition to their method of comparison with auxiliary complex Monge-Ampère equations, our proof relies on an inequality of Hölder-Young type and an iteration lemma of De Giorgi type. For the case of Hermitian manifolds with non-degenerate background metrics, we prove a similar $\mathrm{L}^\infty$ estimate which improves that of Guo-Phong. An explicit example is constucted to show that the $\mathrm{L}^\infty$ estimates given here may fail when $r\leqslant n-1$. The construction relies on a gluing lemma of smooth, radial, strictly plurisubharmonic functions.

Abstract:Uniform bounds are obtained using the auxiliary Monge-Ampère equation method for solutions of very general classes of fully non-linear partial differential equations, assuming the existence of a ${C}$-subsolution in the sense of G. Székelyhidi and B. Guan. The main advantage over previous estimates is in the Kähler case, where the new estimates remain uniform as the background metric is allowed to degenerate.
