Abstract:Normal universities enjoy the traditional advantage in teachers’education for their long term of teachers’ education activity. The advantage ought to be fully enhanced and exhibited. However,with the shift of the system of teachers’education from the closed to the open,the development space of the normal universities has been severely squeezed with more and more participation of the comprehensive universities in teachers’education. As a result, normal universities encounter the decline of the competitive power and advantage in teachers’education. Consequently, it is urgent for normal universities to gain development advantage and form the development pattern characterized by teachers’education. In the progress of building the first-class normal university. In Shaanxi Normal University,we should strengthen the advantage of teachers’education as to form the first-class development pattern supported by the discipline of teachers’education. The development strategies are:enforce the structural reform and promote the general development of teachers’education resources;strengthen the disciplinary construction dominated by teachers’education as to reveal the characteristics of normal university;enhance the curriculum construction of teachers’education as to cultivate“the Outstanding Teachers”to guide the basic education in the west;actively consolidate research in basic education and form a research ground to lead the development of education in the west;and intensify the construction of social service system and build a powerful engine to lead the education development in the west.

Abstract:At present,China higher education is gradually transforming from elite education to mass education.Therefore,stabilizing and improving the quality of education has become a major issue restricting the development of higher education.The key factors of this issue are the quality and level of the teaching staff.Most new teachers in medical colleges and universities are non-normal college graduates,lacking the necessary educational theories and teaching experience.Through examination and comprehensive assessment on the young teachers' internship performance,their teaching quality can be steadily improved.

Abstract:With the social and economic development and technological progress, higher education has entered the stage of popularization. In the new period and situation, our higher education institutions are facing many challenges. How to improve teaching quality? How to cultivate innovative talents? How to adapt to the requirements of high-quality talents in the era of knowledge economy and other issues, all of which require colleges and universities to change their traditional concepts, establish modern university concepts and improve their core competitiveness. And to achieve this goal, we must strengthen the school management, especially the construction of college teachers. This paper puts forward specific measures to improve the professionalism of teachers in our colleges and universities from five aspects: Updating the concept of education and attaching importance to teachers' professional development. Abstract:Exploring classroom teaching reform centered on student development is a fundamental requirement for deepening education and teaching reform in undergraduate education worldwide. Shanxi Normal University places the reform of classroom teaching reform at the center of their efforts to raise the quality of undergraduate education. The implementation of the classroom teaching reforms at Shanxi Normal University has been focused on finding solutions to practical teaching problems. The new approaches to teaching and learning satisfy the requirements of both student development and societal development while addressing key problems in university education and teaching reform. In this article, the authors explain the rationale for focusing on classroom teaching reform, and describe how the classroom teaching reforms were promoted at Shanxi Normal University as well as how the quality of student training has been improved. Our goal in implementing reforms to classroom teaching has been to not only improve education and teaching vitality at Shanxi Normal University, but also provide lessons and experience to stimulate classroom teaching reform at other universities.

Abstract:In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to the development of new engineering education. College English, a compulsory course aimed at non-English majors in China’s universities, bears great responsibilities in training high-quality innovative engineering talent with an international perspective. After an examination of the current College English teaching content and an analysis of college students’ needs for English learning, the paper proposes three ways to reform the teaching content of College English in light of nurturing new engineering talent: integrating language and cultural knowledge with subject-specific knowledge, enhancing students’ ability of applying English in their professional domains, and emphasizing both humanistic education and professional competence in College English teaching.

Abstract:Abstract Background: In the new era, the situation of medical education in China has undergone significant and profound changes. Medical universities not only carry the historical mission of providing multidisciplinary talent support for the modernization of education, but also are endowed with the tasks and requirements of holding high quality medical education and promoting the construction of Health China. Objective To state the theory of medical education in the new era, this paper analyzes the problems existing in medical education of China's comprehensive universities, and gives the countermeasures and ideas of medical education development. Method: By using literature research, illustrating with examples, conclusion and reasoning methods to analyze and illustrate. Result: This paper interprets the connotation of high-quality development of medical education in the new era, thinks about the current situation features of domestic medical education such as the multilateral exploration of management mode of comprehensive university medical education, lists the main problems in medical education, and discusses the ideas and countermeasures to solve these problems in the future. Conclusion: The reform and development of medical education need to further improve the top-level design, and obtain the understanding and support from stakeholders. The comprehensive university should consider putting medical personnel training in the vision of Health China construction. Under the guidance of the national macro policy of holding high-level undergraduate education, it is imperative to persist in problem-oriented principle and make efforts to reform, using information technology to promote the sharing of educational resources among schools and form a synergy in medical education.
