Abstract:Autonomous learning is regarded as an important attempt in college English teaching reform and innovation. This article,based on the semi - structured interviews,found that compared with the traditional teaching and learning mode, autonomous learning are more advantageous and can improve students’listening ,speaking and autonomous learning abilities greatly. However,there do exist some problems under such environment,for example,students don’t know how to fully make use of the abundant net resources and there is an urgent need for students to improve their autonomous learning strategy. The paper proposes some suggestions to improve the autonomous learning of college English in independent colleges.

Abstract:There are plenty of studies on college English autonomous learning in China and abroad,but most of them are only about the definition of autonomous learning ability or the explanation and analysis of the theory.The present paper as a longitudinal study as regards the learners' testing scores in each autonomous learning level as the dependent variable and analyzes the autonomous learning effects based on the viewing,listening and speaking network in order to understand the positive effects of autonomous learning on college English teaching and explore all kinds of problems occurred in this teaching mode.

Abstract:Firstly, this study is to obtain the first-hand information of non-English major college students' autonomous learning in the process of foreign language learning through questionnaire survey. Secondly, through the analysis of the collected data, find out the students' performance in eight aspects of independent learning, and compare their slightly strong and slightly weak items. The results of the study put forward feasible suggestions and elucidate the implications for English teaching, and provide a practical basis for the subsequent research on autonomous learning.

Abstract:Abstract The era of big data provides convenience for college students to study independently. College teachers can make use of the relevant characteristics of big data to improve teaching methods, enrich teaching content and guide the independent learning of college students with scientific teaching evaluation, and explore the cultivation mode of college students’ independent learning ability. Big data in order to better research network environment of ethnic minorities is effective way to cultivate college students’ autonomous learning ability, this study in a university of ethnic minority college students as the research object, through a combination of big data technology to improve the way of the network teaching, through questionnaire as tools, supplemented by semistructured interview, investigation of ethnic minority college students’ autonomous learning ability, from the autonomous learning ability, independent learning behavior, autonomous learning psychology discusses three dimensions of ethnic minority college students’ autonomous learning situation, and discusses how to develop ethnic minority college students’ autonomous learning ability, according to the results, After combining big data teaching, the attendance rate increased by 21.7%.

Abstract:The cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability is one of the significant and essential tasks of college English teaching. In this paper, the current situation of college students’ insufficient autonomous English learning ability is thoroughly analyzed. Some effective and feasible strategies to cultivate students’ autonomous English learning ability are put forward based on the factors that influence this ability. Based on the autonomous learning theory, in the article we have revealed the problems in the autonomous learning of college English listening and speaking in the network era through questionnaire investigation and data study, the problems such as the low efficiency of the time spent in autonomous learning, the lack of an overall evaluation mode and etc. We have also brought forward the countermeasures for resolution to foster students' strong will and self-control, to train their ability to monitor themselves and to evaluate themselves.

Abstract:The Internet is an important means of communication for contemporary college students, especially those majoring in English, to acquire knowledge about information and improve their oral proficiency. However, research on the relevant oral English autonomous learning ability of English majors shows that the overall learning situation is not satisfying. Abstract:In order to solve the problem that there are many places with poor learning ability of college English majors, this study conducts research, evaluation, and research on many places with poor learning ability. The independent learning ability of college students in different majors is obviously different, and majors affect the independent learning ability by 24.2%. Developing students' ability to succeed is a hot topic in teaching and learning. This study examines the self-learning ability of English majors in multiple subject areas by means of questionnaires and interviews. The study found that most UK adults had good self-control, but they showed improvements in self-planning, literacy and communication skills, and collaboration skills. The overall self-control ability is at a medium level and needs to be improved. At the same time, it discusses the necessity of improving learning ability and self-discipline in different learning environments, as well as strategies for improving academic ability, providing important guidance for supporting the academic development of the college new student. Compared with elementary and high school, the breadth and depth of knowledge acquired in school have expanded beyond textbooks. Classroom sound is fast and informative, requiring students to spend a lot of time after class to digest and understand. If students do not perform well in college, the process of assimilation and acquisition can be disrupted. In the case of data being cracked, it is difficult to meet the needs of work due to insufficient learning ability or even to meet the needs, which is based on improving the relationship. For example, it is critical to develop and enhance the ability of college students to succeed in a variety of settings.

Abstract:This study was undertaken to investigate the general state of affairs of the non-English majors' English autonomous learning in Yangzhou university,exploring the differences between freshmen and non-freshmen in terms of their autonomy in English learning and analyzing the underlying factors responsible for the present state of such affairs.The study shows most non-English majors try to learn autonomously,but they are unable to combine theory with practice because of their unsystematic knowledge of autonomous learning,the lack of intrinsic motivation and the insufficient professional training of strategies.Freshmen and non-freshmen show differences in their understanding of autonomous learning,in their choice of strategies and in their attitude toward SACs.

Abstract:A study was made on English autonomous learning ability of ethnic minority students by using questionnaires and interviews and taking 138 students of School of Preparatory Education in MUC as subjects.The results show that students from preparatory education have a low level of English autonomous learning ability.Most students are unable to make learning plans,choose learning strategies and set specific learning objectives,let alone checking consciously their actual application of learning strategies.Therefore,in order to train students' English autonomous learning ability,exam-oriented education system should be reformed.Efforts should be made to train students how to make learning plans,how to manage time and how to choose suitable learning strategies.

Abstract:The study aims to investigate the status quo of non-English major postgraduate students' autonomous English learning via computer and network.In light of the questionnaire survey,it is found that although the subjects hold positive attitudes towards computer-and network-assisted English learning,they do not effectively make use of the new technologies and equipments.Students' selfperception of English proficiency and time spent on out-of-class study are found to exert significant impact on their actual autonomous English learning.
