Abstract:The basic principle of liquid membranes is briefly introduced. Some distinguishing features of liquid membranes and the development trend of this technology are carefully analysed. A variety of applications of liquid membranes is widely discussed. And, the potential applications of liquid membranes in nuclear industry are also explored.
