Abstract:This project is about the central air-conditioning engineering of Tian Yuan Hotel,which is located in Changsha city.As the gross floors area is about(10 766.8 m~2),and the air conditioning area is about 9 228.14 m~2,and the cold load is 593 kW,we choose 2 direct burning LiBr absorption refrigeration machines: the models BZ40VⅢ and(BZ65VⅢ),with their maximal load supply,280 kW and 390 kW respectively when refrigerating.The conditioning system is divided into two different systems according to its function.The first one is for the high and big buildings such as restaurants and supermarkets;the second is for the other little rooms such as offices,bedrooms,KTV rooms.The first system adopts the complete air system,where the air-conditioning equipment deals with the supply air and the return air.The second system adopts the FCU+PAU system,where FCU system deals with the supply and the return air.The halls and the rooms which can permeate air out use natural ventilation.And almost all rooms' returning air is through the floor.The design adopts the same system to exhaust air and smoke,choosing the dual wind velocity fans,while ordinarily,it only exhausts air when the fire disaster happens.

Abstract:The primary mission of this design is the air conditioning design of a hotel in Guangzhou city. The calculation of cooling load & heat load, division of the air conditioning system and the determination of the scheme, the design of the duct and water system, and the design of the smoke prevention and extraction system are all included. According to the related standard and considering the energy saving and comfort requirements, the air conditioning system are determined through the economic and technological comparison. Primary return air system is used for open office area and dining hall; fan-coil units with fresh air system is adopted for the guest rooms of the hotel; and the VRV system is adopted for the large conference room. The new air in restaurant rooms and the large conference room is handled by full-heat type fresh air exchanger; new air in guest room is handled by air conditioning units.

Abstract:For conservation of cultural heritage, HVAC systems are often necessary for museums to maintain suitable indoor environment with precise control of indoor thermal-hygrometric parameters and air velocity. Large deviations of these parameters from the design values should be prevented, because they may cause degradation of artworks. So, more energy consumption is inevitable.This paper presents a novel temperature and humidity independent control (THIC) device and its associated control method in a museum storeroom air-conditioning system. Compared with the conventional HVAC system with the cooling coil (CC), where the apparatus dew point is usually fixed, this system adopting the THIC device can achieve independent temperature and humidity control in an energy saving way. The experiment study shows that this system can reduce the energy consumption by 21.7%, compared with the conventional HVAC systems using reheat and humidify for an indoor thermal-hygrometric environment, and the temperature and humidity in the storeroom are also kept stable and at a higher precision level. Abstract:A novel design of a temperature test chamber in multi-parameter combined environmental test was introduced, in which thermoelectric coolers were adopted to achieve both high and low temperature. Multiple distributed actuators and temperature sensors were used for improving the evenness of the temperature field. A well performed cooling system for waste heat dissipating was designed based on air-cooled radiator and circulating water flow. A temperature control system based on PC and MCU with wireless communication modules was designed. The thermoelectric cooler was driving by H-bridge circuit, whose power was controlled by PWM signal. PID algorithm was applied and average temperature was adopted to be the controlled variable. Measurement and control software on the PC and MCU was analyzed and its flow diagram was given. Influenced by centrifugal acceleration, unevenness of the temperature field would increase. A fan was mounted at the bottom of the chamber to improve the evenness of the temperature field. The experiment results show that the temperature environment with other combined environment is realized in the test chamber based on the above technology.

Abstract:The impact of various installment methods, chilled water parameters and indoor air temperatures on the capillary-tube radiant cooling capacity. We used experiment method and test lab in order to analyze the real cooling capacity and thermal environments were investigated in order to make guidelines for designing a radiant cooling system combined with Temperature and Humidity Independently Control System. As a result, the impacts of various parameters on the cooling capacity of radiant cooling system were demonstrated quantitatively.

Abstract:This paper describes the design of a liquid desiccant air conditioning system using low-grade heat resource, which employs environmental-friendly, ozone-safe working substance - LiCl solution as the desiccant and is able to treat the ambient air at a high temperature 35degC to the air conditioning supply air at a low temperature 18degC. It can handle both latent and sensible heat load of the room without any other refrigeration method. The paper analyzes the complicated heat and mass transfer process of individual components theoretically and establishes a numerical simulation for the whole system. Based on that, a liquid desiccant air conditioning device which can offer 40 kW cooling capacity is worked out and built up. The coefficient of the performance (COP) of the device can be up to 0.8 when the heat source temperature is about 70degC. The experimental data well consist with the numerical computation results.

Abstract:Drivers can easily feel fatigue and aprosexia due to the high temperature inside the truck driver cabin in summer. The current truck driver cabin air-conditioning system can not meet the needs of operating condition and environmental protection. It is a very urgent task to develop an air-conditioner system which is suitable for application in internal combustion engine truck driver cabin. This paper describes a novel adsorption air-conditioner driven by the exhaust gas from the diesel engine of truck. The working pair is ammonia and compound adsorbent. The compound adsorbent is composed of calcium chloride and activated carbon, its adsorption quantity has been tested in the laboratory. A finned tube heat exchanger is used as the adsorber unit. The air-conditioner is composed of two adsobers, one condenser, one evaporator and one FCU (Fan Coil Unit). Because of space limitation inside the truck, the air conditioner has been made compact. In this paper, a numerical simulation by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code is carried out to predict the pressure loss in the adsorber.
