Establishment and Application of the Airway Care Team

Abstract:Objective To analyze the method of establishing the airway care team and its effects. Methods Airway care team was set up,which revised the prac- tice standards of airway management, carried out airway care theory and skills training, and established a quality supervision system and a hospital airway care consultation system. Results The team members made a progress in the knowledge and skills of airway care. The accidents of airway care decreased. The satifica- tion with nursing work from doctors and patients increased. Conclusions It is effective to improve the nursing safety and promote the development of nursing spe- ciality by establishing professional care team.
