Abstract:China has entered 5th generation mobile net-works (5G) era. As an important part of China’s “new infrastructure”, 5G will create huge economic and social value, helping China achieve high-quality economic development. While bringing better communication experience and creating more new application scenarios, 5G is also facing the reality of a substantial increase in the number of base stations, which brings huge energy consumption challenges. As an emerging industry in the energy field, Integrated Energy Service can significantly save energy cost and promote energy management of the 5G industry through energy variety combination, energy system integration, energy technology upgrade, and business model innovation. It is foreseeable that 5G Integrated Energy Service will become an important market, attracting enterprises to enter and compete. In-depth research on the scale and development trend of the 5G Integrated Energy Service market is of great significance for formulating economic policies, planning industrial investment, and adjusting corporate competition strategies. Based on the industrial life cycle theory, this research predicts the market scale of 5G Integrated Energy Service. The forecast results show that the 5G Integrated Energy Service market will be in a period of rapid growth before the year 2023. The market scale will reach its peak plateau around 2022. The peak value of the 5G Integrated Energy Service market scale under the high, medium and low scenario is 204.9 billion yuan, 153.3 billion yuan, and 102.8 billion yuan respectively.
