Abstract:In our paper [F.M. Li et al., 2008], two errors were noticed after the paper went to press. On page 3002, near the middle of the left column, it should say "In this method, zinc oxide and carbon powders are mixed together, usually in a ZnO:C ratio of 1: 1 or 1:4 by weight." In Fig. 8, on page 3005, the x-axis label should say "energy (eV)" instead of "wavelength (eV)." Also, this paper should have been designated as Invited, as it is now above.

Abstract:The authors regret that Fig. 5 of this paper was incorrect. As a esult, discussion on Fig. 5 needs to be revised. The corrected Fig. 5 nd discussion are given below. The authors would like to apologize or an inconvenience that may have caused to the readers of the ournal. The last sentence of the 5th paragraph in Section 3.1 should e revised as “It can be observed in Fig. 4(b) and (d) that the attice interplanar spacings of 2.48 A, 3.03 A and 3.73 A corresponds to the (002), (020)/(211) and (011) planes of orthorhombic LiMn0.9Fe0.1PO4, respectively, revealing a preferable crystal growth along bc plane.” The sentence “In morphological viewpoint, plate-like particles (S22) with prominent ac plane and small size in [010] direction is expected to provide a higher capacity than spindle-like particles (S21).” is to be deleted in the 1st paragraph in Section 3.2. The word “ac plane” in Section 4 should be revised as “bc plane”.

Previously, the y-axis values were plotted as a percent of cycled capacity, ranging from 0 to 25%, but labeled incorrectly, in units of mAh per 1 mAh cycled. To match the axis label, the y-axis scale should be in decimal form, between 0 and 0.25 mAh per mAh cycled. A corrected version of the figure is included here. The position of the points and the conclusions from the figure remain unchanged.
