The Analysis of Warming Effect of Urbanization in North China Plain During 1960—2011

Abstract:The heating effect of urbanization is reflected by the contrast which changes year by year between 9 meteorological stations surface air temperature and 850 hPa temperature in north China plain during 1960—2011.The impact of urbanization on urban warming in large and medium-sized cities and evaluate feasibility of this method about the difference in temperature between surface and 850 h Pa temperature is analysed.The results show that the warming rates and amplitudes about ground and urbanization appear increasing trend.The large cities are much bigger at contribute of urbanization to ground temperature change than medium-sized cities.The urbanization in winter and spring has more obvious warming effect than urbanization at any other time of year.Compared with urbanization warming effect during 1960—2011,warming effect is somewhat different during 1980—2011.Warming effect of some meteorological stations tend to enhance,and others approach to weak or gone.
