Abstract:Objective:To investigate the pathogenesis,pathological changes,clinical findings,essentials of diagnosis and results in primary brain stem injury in children.Methods:The clinical data were anatysed retrospectively.Results:1.Fifteen patients recovered with a cure rate of 75%;2.Five patients died with a mortality of 25%.Conclusions:To improve the outcome of the children of injured brain stem,an active treatment should be suggested.The recovery rate of neurological function of children is greater than that of adults.
