Abstract:Film and television production is one of the sources of modern entertainment and key content. With the rapid development and popularization of digital technology, its application proportion in film and television production is constantly increasing. AE keying technology is a digital production technology that is frequently used in film and television post-production, and its role is very important. Through the application of AE keying technology, film and television post-production is more convenient and efficient, and keying synthesis technology involves a wide range, which is of great value in the industry. Based on this, this paper introduces the meaning of film and television post-production and AE keying technology, and introduces the plug-in technology of AE. At the same time, it introduces the specific application of AE keying technology from three aspects: brightness keying, chroma keying and Key light keying, so as to provide help for film and television post-production personnel.

A Novel Compact Yet Rich Key Frame Creation Method for Compressed Video Summarization

Abstract:Video summarization has great potential to enable rapid browsing and efficient video indexing in many applications. In this study, we propose a novel compact yet rich key frame creation method for compressed video summarization. First, we directly extract DC coefficients of I frame from a compressed video stream, and DC-based mutual information is computed to segment the long video into shots. Then, we select shots with static background and moving object according to the intensity and range of motion vector in the video stream. Detecting moving object outliers in each selected shot, the optimal object set is then selected by importance ranking and solving an optimum programming problem. Finally, we conduct an improved KNN matting approach on the optimal object outliers to automatically and seamlessly splice these outliers to the final key frame as video summarization. Previous video summarization methods typically select one or more frames from the original video as the video summarization. However, these existing key frame representation approaches for video summarization eliminate the time axis and lose the dynamic aspect of the video scene. The proposed video summarization preserves both compactness and considerably richer information than previous video summaries. Experimental results indicate that the proposed key frame representation not only includes abundant semantics but also is natural, which satisfies user preferences.

Abstract:Video matting is the process of extracting the foreground of a video and compositing it with another background to generate a new video. Currently, there are many ways to edit foreground image, yet we lack of an effective way to edit foreground video and merge it with a new background, forming a new, meaningful, realistic video. In this paper, we present a new video editing tool which fulfills this function effectively. Using this tool, we can easily edit the appearance of extracted object by resizing, rotation and recoloration. We provide a path specification tool to locate the object in an appropriate position at specified frame. Finally, by an illumination blending procedure, we generate a desired video with the objects composed realistically.

Abstract:We present Video Brush, a novel interface for interactive video cutout. Inspired by the progressive selection scheme in images, our interface is designed to select video objects by painting on successive frames as the video plays. The video objects are progressively selected by solving the graph‐cut based local optimization according to the strokes drawn by the brush on each painted frame. In order to provide users interactive feedback, we accelerate 3D graph‐cut by efficient graph building and multi‐level banded graph‐cut. Experimental results show that our novel interface is both intuitive and efficient for video cutout.

Abstract:The 2D to 3D conversion technique plays a crucial role in the development and promotion of three-dimensional television (3DTV) for it can provide adequate supply of high-quality 3D program material. In this paper, a novel automatic 2D to 3D conversion method using multi-depth cues is presented. The depth cues used in our system, which will be integrated into one depth map according to the types of the 2D scenes, include perspective geometry, defocus, visual saliency and adaptive depth models. After the depth maps are extracted, the original 2D image or video is converted to stereoscopic one for showing on 3D display devices. Our method is verified on various sequences and the experimental results show that the resulting image or video is both realistic and visual pleasing.

Abstract:Abstract Nowadays, the wave of digitization, networking and informatization is sweeping the world, which makes the visual image become an important way of communication and transmission of global culture. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the application of big data processing technology in film and television post production. The distributed computing power of MapReduce is used to extract the content features of video images, construct corresponding indexes, and store and retrieve them in HBase database according to the indexes to form a big data processing platform for video images. This paper deeply discusses the framework related theory as the support of big data processing technology in film and television post production, analyzes the common algorithms in nonlinear editing system, discusses the mirror effect monorail and double track special effects in video special effects, and makes the realization effect of each kind of special effects in the space domain, and makes some special effects among them, The implementation of compressed domain is discussed. In this paper, through the application of experimental video big data processing technology to the film and television post production of various possibilities, and draw the following conclusions: in extreme cases, the stunt tree becomes a one-dimensional linear structure, using traditional parallel topology sorting, the device parallelism is 0, and using pipeline scheduling, because of breaking the sequence between frames, can play a relatively large parallelism.

Abstract:In this paper,a novel video content aware dynamic subtitle method is proposed.An energy function,which takes the video content,frame coherence and subtitle coherence into account,is defined and optimized to find an unimportant region in the video image,at which the subtitle is imposed.Two approaches are proposed to increase the contrast between subtitle and video image,i.e.,dynamic subtitle color via color wheel and imposing outer strokes on the subtitles.Experimental results show that the video content aware dynamic subtitles can reduce the critical content occlusion and achieve good visual effects.

Abstract:The development of short videos and big movies requires high-quality visual design. In the context of digital technology development, computer multimedia technology has begun to emerge in the field of video processing, promoting innovative development in China’s industry. The post production of film and television works requires the use of computer multimedia technology to expand the creative space and improve the artistic expression effect of film and television works. This article elaborates on the unique role of computer multimedia technology in the field of film and television post production, and then analyzes the various stages of film and television post production. The focus is on using computer artificial intelligence techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of video editing in the video editing stage. Then, in the color rendering stage of some black and white video resources, computer technology is automatically processed, Therefore, computer multimedia technology can play an advantageous role in film and television post production and should be promoted and applied.

Abstract:Aiming at the visual expression effect of 3D animation, a set of optimization methods using computer graphics technology was proposed. The depth camera and image processor suitable for video transmission were selected and set into the original system hardware. 3D moving images were used in the experiment. The depth determination model is established by analyzing a series of images of keyframes. The depth modeling of animated image is improved by using the duality principle. Combining with the principle of visual communication, the steps of animation design are simplified and three-dimensional coordinates of animation are calculated to realize the practical design of animation. The practice shows that this method has high accuracy and can effectively improve the effect of 3D animation production.

Abstract:With the rapid development of digital art and machine science and technology, the production form of modern animation tends to be diversified, and with the important role of animation color in the animation film foil and rendering, more and more attention was paid by the animation design industry. Computer graphic technology is a new type of artistic creation method, and its birth and development are closely related to computer technology. The purpose of this paper is to make some analysis and induction from the perspective of science and technology and culture and to explore the application of Photoshop graphics and image processing technology in the field of animation. First, the definition of “animation” and the extension of the animation category are introduced. Then, the main functions of Photoshop image processing technology are described in detail. According to the research content, this paper designs a self-made experimental short film “future city.” After the simulation of experimental animation film and the setting and positioning of the experimental scene, Photoshop software was used to show the animation scene. The experimental results show that the color changes in the short film “future city.” After the saturation of sunny scenery is reduced by 3 points and the brightness is reduced by 20 points and the filter, mode change, and color adjustment are carried out, a complete rainy scenery can be obtained. The self-made experimental short film has guiding significance for the creation and practice.

Abstract:With the continuous innovation of technology, digital technology is more and more widely used in the production of TV shows and movies and plays an important role. The effective application of digital video effects technology can enhance the visual effects of the overall TV and film works and improve the quality of the works. After the use of digital special effects in film and television production, people see more exquisite film and television pictures, but today’s technology is not enough to meet people’s growing demand for film and television pictures. This paper applied neural network and virtual reality technology to the production process of digital video effects and conducted a comparative experiment with the digital video effects produced by using the current technology. The special effects were evaluated in four aspects: image fidelity, sound distortion, picture fluency, and production efficiency. The experimental results show that after applying neural network and virtual reality technologies, the image fidelity of digital video effects is increased by 6.74%, the sound distortion is reduced by 7.69%, the picture fluency is increased by 6.89%, and the production efficiency is increased by 7.91%. Applying the neural network and virtual reality technology can improve the quality and efficiency of digital video special effects production.
