Abstract:A gas chromatographic method was described for separation and determination of benzoic acid and sorbic acid in food and drink samples. The samples were extracted first by diethyl ether, the extract was then dried and dissolved in chloroform, and analysed by chromatography. The capillary column used was FFAP, and the temperature was set at 220℃.
