Abstract:Objective:This article is to investigate the potential of DWI in cervical lymph node lesions and focus on the technique parameters that affect the quality of DW imaging.Methods:Conventional MR imaging(spin echo T_1WI,T_2WI and STIR) was used to scan 30 patients with histologically proven malignant tumors(16) and inflammatory lesions(14) on a GE 1.5T scanner using cervical phased array coil.Six B values(30 cases) were acquired with diffusion gradients applied in all three orthogonal directions using body coil.Diffusion scan time was 40～52 seconds.Results:All benign and malignant lymph nodes were visible in DWI and showed significant hyperintensity signal.Calculated ADC malignant lymph nodes was statistically different from that of benign lymph nodes.When various of scan parameters were mixed rationally,MRI may improve signal-noise-ratio of image quality and lessen geometric malformation.Conclusion:Diffusion weighted imaging is a rapid and feasible method in detecting cervical lymph node lesions and shows a potential for distinguishing between benign and malignant lymph nodes.
Clinical application of diffusion-weighted MRI in uterine tumors-evaluation of signal intensity and ADC values

Abstract:Objective: To investigate the ability and advantage of DWI in demonstrating uterine benign and malignant tumors, and compare ADC values between these two kinds. Methods: Total 73 uterine lesions of 58 patients were proved as 50 malignant and 23 benign. DWI and other sequences were acquired at 1.5T MR scanner. B value was 0 and 1000. The signal intensity ratio (SIR) and contrast to noise ratio (CNR) of the DWI and T2 images were calculated to evaluate the image quality in demonstrating lesions. The signal intensities were compared between DWI images and T2 images. Signal intensity and ADC values of DWI were compared between malignant and benign groups. Results: Of benign tumors, SIR and CNR of DWI were lower than that of T2WI, with statistically significant differences. Of malignant tumors, however, both 2 parameters were higher in DWI than T2WI. All parameters of DWI in malignant group were significantly higher than that of benign. ADC value of malignant tumors was significantly lower than benign ones, but the distribution of ADC value between endometrial adenocarcinomas and cervical squamous cancers had no difference. Conclusion: The relatively high signal intensity of the uterine cancers in DWI make the lesions readily and easy to be found. Compared with T2 images, DWI has a stronger ability in highlighting malignant tumors, which is an advantage of DWI in demonstrating lesions. Malignant tumors had lower ADC values than benign ones, while ADC values of endometrial adenocarcinomas and cervical squamous cancers shows no difference.
Diagnostic Accuracy of Dynamic Contrast Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Diffusion-Weighted Imaging in Endometrial Carcinoma: a Retrospective Study on 54 Cases

Abstract:The potential of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) to reflect the histological subtype and clinical course in endometrial cancers is not fully elucidated. This study was to evaluate the efficacy of DCE-MRI and DWI in the diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma. Fifty-four patients with endometrial carcinoma were retrospectively studied. DWI and DCE-MRI images were acquired preoperatively in all patients. The depth of myometrial invasion, dynamic enhanced characteristics, time-signal intensity curve and ADC values suggested by preoperative DW/DCE-MRI and the subsequent histopathological findings following the surgery were investigated. The statistical difference was analyzed using SPSS 17.0. Endometrial adenocarcinoma was found in 83.3 % (45/54) cases including 14 cases of highly differentiated (G1), 28 cases of moderately differentiated (G2) and 3 cases of poorly differentiated (G3) according to DWI. There were no statistical difference ( P > 0.05) in signal intensity and ADC value of internal obturator muscle among G1, G2 and G3. ADC value between G1 and G2 had statistical difference. Postoperative histopathological examination showed that 79.6 % (43/54) patients were at stage Ia, 16.7 % (9/54) at stage Ib and 3.7 % (2/54) at stage II according to the FIGO 2012 staging criteria. DCE-MRI results showed 74.1 % (40/54) patients were at stage Ia, 14.8 % (8/54) at stage Ib and 3.7 % (2/54) at stage II. Based on the results of histopathological examination, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of diagnosing endometrial adenocarcinoma la, lb, II by DCE-MRI were 93.0, 88.9, 100 %; 90.9, 93.3, 100 %; 92.6, 92.6, 100 %; 97.6, 72.7, 100 %; 76.9, 97.7, 100 %. The results suggested that DWI and DCE-MRI are helpful in improving the accuracy of the staging and pathological grading of endometrial carcinoma.

Significant difference was found between DWI-T2WI and DWI in pooled specificity, and also in comparison between DCE-MRI and DWI-T2WI (P < 0.05). In summary, receiver operating characteristic analysis, area under the curve for DWI-T2WI, DWI, and DCE-MRI were 0.94, 0.90, and 0.93, respectively.Diffusion-weighted imaging-T2WI can improve diagnostic performance in comparison with DWI alone. Meanwhile, DWI-T2WI performs better than DCE-MRI in predicting myometrial invasion of endometrial cancer. It may be an alternative for DCE-MRI in presurgical staging of endometrial cancer.

Abstract:Abstract Background We assessed the image quality of endometrial cancer lesions by readout segmentation of long variable echo-trains (RESOLVE) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) compared with that by single-shot echo-planar imaging (SS-EPI) DWI, aimed to explore the value of RESOLVE DWI for determining myometrial invasion and clinical stage in endometrial cancer. Materials and methods From April 2017 to March 2018, a total of 30 endometrial cancer patients (mean age 52.8 ± 9.0 years), who had undergone RESOLVE DWI and SS-EPI DWI, were included in the study. The image quality of endometrial carcinoma by two kinds of DWI scanning methods was compared qualitatively and quantitatively. The Spearman rank correlation test was used to assess the correlation of qualitative image quality scores between two readers. The accuracy of two DWI methods in detecting myometrial invasion and staging of endometrial carcinoma was calculated according to postoperative pathological results. The indexes were analyzed including sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV). Results The qualitative score of RESOLVE DWI group was superior to SS-EPI DWI group in every aspect of five aspects (all P < 0.001). Interobserver agreement of depiction was good or excellent in two DWI sequences. Signal to noise ratio and contrast to noise ratio values in RESOLVE DWI group were both higher than those in SS-EPI DWI group ( P <0.001). No statistical difference of apparent diffusion coefficient value was observed between two DWI groups ( P = 0.261). The specificity, accuracy, PPV, and NPV of estimating myometrial invasion by RESOLVE DWI in three cases (intramucosal lesion, <50% superficial invasion and ≥ 50% deep invasion) were all higher than those by SS-EPI DWI for endometrial carcinoma. Especially RESOLVE DWI was valuable in judging <50% superficial invasion (95%CI:0.586, 0.970). No significant difference in accuracy staging was between the two DWI groups ( P = 0.125). Conclusion RESOLVE DWI can provide higher quality images of endometrial carcinoma than SS-EPI DWI. The high-quality images are helpful for precise assessment of myometrial invasion in endometrial cancer.

Abstract:Objective: To retrospectively estimate the diagnostic accuracy of diffusion-weighted MR imaging(DWI) in complex solid and cystic adnexal masses,and to determinate the optimal cutoff value for differentiating benign and malignant ovarian tumors.Materials and Methods: Eighty-four patients underwent DWI.The adnexal lesions were examined for several features including size,shape,character(solid-cystic),signal intensity,and enhancement.The mean ADC value of the solid components was measured and assessed for each ovarian mass.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) was used to assess ability of ADC in differentiating benign versus malignant complex adnexal masses.Results: The mean ADC value was(1.456±0.297)×10-3 mm2/s and(0.929±0.215)×10-3 mm2/s for the benign and malignant masses respectively,and there was significant difference between them(P﹤0.01).The ROC results suggested that an ADC value ≥1.225×10-3 mm2/s might be an optimal cutoff value for differentiating benign and malignant tumors,with sensitivity of 86.7%,specificity of 94% and AUC of 92.1%,respectively.Conclusion: DWI is a useful supplement to conventional MRI.The measurement of ADC values of the solid components is especially useful for differentiating benign from malignant ovarian masses.
Clinical Application of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Preoperative Evaluation of Endometrial Cancer.

Abstract:OBJECTIVE:To investigate the value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the preoperative assessment of endometrial cancer.METHODS:Ninety-four patients with histopathologically confirmed endometrial carcinoma were retrospectively enrolled in this study. MRI findings were compared with the pathologic findings in all cases. The depth of myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis were evaluated by T2 weighted imaging (T2WI) combined with contrast enhancement or diffusion weighted imaging (DWI).RESULTS:Among these 94 patients,62 had no or superficial myometrial involvement and 32 cases had deep myometrial involvement. Meanwhile, 24 groups of metastatic lymph nodes and 164 groups of non-metastatic lymph nodes were detected. The accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, negative predictive value, and positive predictive value of T2WI combined with contrast enhancement in discriminating no/superficial myometrial involvement from deep myometrial involvement were 88.3%, 90.3%, 84.4%, 91.8%, and 81.8%, whereas those of T2WI combined with DWI were 81.9%, 87.1%, 71.9%, 85.7%, and 74.2%, respectively. The accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, negative predictive value, and positive predictive value of T2WI combined with contrast enhancement in identifying metastatic lymph nodes were 89.4%, 96.8%, 54.5%, 90.9%, and 78.3%, whereas those of T2WI combined with DWI were 91.5%, 95.5%, 72.7%, 94.3%, and 77.4%, respectively.CONCLUSIONS:T2WI combined with contrast enhancement is superior to T2WI combined with DWI in evaluation of the depth of myometrial invasion. However, DWI is more sensitive in identifying lymph node metastasis than T2WI combined with contrast enhancement.

Abstract:To evaluate the relationship between apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value and the local invasiveness of endometrial carcinoma.The MR imaging of seventy-three patients with endometrial carcinoma proved by post-operative pathology and sixty-four patients with healthy uteri were retrospectively reviewed. All MR examinations included axial T2WI and T1WI, sagittal T2WI and diffusion-weighted sequences (b=0 and b=1000s/mm(2)). Tumor size, mean ADC value (ADCm) and quartile ADC (ADCq) were acquired on post-processing workstation using voxel-analysis software. Differences between the ADC values among three layers of normal uterine body and endometrial carcinomas were compared by ANOVA test. Groups were divided according to pathologic type, histologic grade, depth of myometrial infiltration, presence of cervical invasion and lymphovascular space invasion, and lymph node metastasis. Tumor size and ADC values were compared and analyzed.ADC values were different in three zones of uterine body (P<0.001), with the lowest in junctional zone [(1.126±0.190)×10(-3)mm(2)/s] and highest in outer myometrium [(1.496±0.196)×10(-3)mm(2)/s]. Mean ADC value of endometrial carcinomas [(1.011±0.121)×10(-3)mm(2)/s] was lower than the normal uterine body. Quartile ADC and tumor size were greater in groups with more invasive pathologic factors (P<0.05). Deep myometrial infiltration, cervical invasion, lymphovascular space invasion and lymph node metastasis were more common as quartile ADC values and tumor sizes increased.Mean ADC value was lower in endometrial carcinoma was lower than the normal uterus. Quartile ADC, representing the intra-tumor heterogeneity of water movement, had a profound relationship with invasiveness of endometrial carcinomas, while mean ADC value did not. ADC values may serve as a quantitative indicator to complement routine sequences.

Abstract:Objective To explore the value of MR diffusion weighted imaging in the diagnosis of cervical cancer.Methods The ADC value of 100 cases (64 cases with squamous carcinoma,36 cases with adenocarcinoma,including 31 cases of highly differentia-ted group,40 cases of moderately differentiated group,29 cases of lowly differentiated group)with cervical cancer diagnosed by pathological examination and 100 cases with normal cervix were measured by diffusion weighted imaging (DWI).The ADC values of each group were compared,and correlation between the ADC values of cervical cancer and pathological level were analyzed.Results The signal of cervical cancer on DWI image was significantly higher than the normal cervix.The ADC values of cervical cancer and normal cervix was respectively (0.83±0.1 1)×10 -3 mm2/s,(1.78±0.21)×10 -3 mm2/s,these differences suggest a statistic mean-ing (t=4.55 1,P <0.05).There were significant difference between the mean ADC value of squamous carcinoma(0.82 ±0.12)× 10 -3 mm2/s and adenocarcinoma (0.98 ±0.13)× 10 -3 mm2/s(t = 1.341,P < 0.05 ).The differences of the ADC values between highly differentiated group,moderately differentiated group and lowly differentiated group of cervical cancer were statistically sig-nificant (P< 0.05).There is negative correlation between ADC value of cervical cancer and the grades of tumor (r=-0.732,P<0.05).Con-clusion DWI can help to differentiate cervical cancer from normal cervix,and to evaluate the pathological type and grade.
Relationship Between Apparent Diffusion Coefficient and Signal Intensity in Normal Uterus and Endometrial Carcinoma

Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value and signal intensity in diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) of normal uterus, and to evaluate the application of DWI in endometrial carcinoma (EC). Methods Routine MRI sequences and axial diffusion weighted sequences (b=1000 s/mm2) were performed in 14 patients with EC and 16 female with normal uterine as control. The signal intensity and ADC values were measured and analyzed. The differences in three layers of normal uterine and ECs were compared. Results There was statistically significant difference in signal intensity of the three layers of normal uterus in diffusion-weighted images, with endometrium the highest, outer myometrium the lowest. The difference between junctional zone (JZ) and outer myometrium could not be identified by naked eyes. ADC values also had statistically significant difference, with outer myometrium the highest, JZ the lowest. Though the signal intensity between normal endometrium and foci of EC showed no difference, ADC values of endometrium was much higher than that of EC. Conclusion The three layers of normal uterus have different diffusion characteristics. DWI take the advantages of easily identifying foci of endometrial carcinoma, and ADC values provide certain help in differentiating between endometrial carcinoma and normal endometrium.
Use of Diffusion Tensor Imaging in Assessing Superficial Myometrial Invasion by Endometrial Carcinoma: a Preliminary Study

Abstract:Background Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) remains the standard modality for local staging of gynecological malignancies, but it has several limitations, especially when differentiating a cancer limited to the endometrium from a cancer invading the superficial myometrium. Purpose To explore 1.5 T diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in assessing superficial myometrial infiltration by endometrial carcinoma. Material and Methods We analyzed the sensitivity of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) versus fractional anisotropy (FA) in diagnosing superficial myometrial infiltration compared to DCE-MRI and T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) in 35 patients with endometrial cancer. For each patient, T2WI-DWI fusion images were generated, and five regions of interest (ROIs) were placed on corresponding DTI images. ADC and FA were calculated, and fiber tractography (FT) images for each level were obtained. ADC and FA values for the five ROIs were compared. Results In distinguishing cancerous versus non-cancerous areas within superficial myometrium, median ADC values were significantly lower (1.16 vs. 1.48, respectively; P < 0.001) and median FA values were significantly higher (0.41 vs. 0.27; P < 0.001, respectively). ADC’s versus FA’s sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and accuracy for diagnosing superficial myometrial invasion were 74.3%, 88.6%, 86.7%, 77.5%, 81.4% versus 88.6%, 97.1%, 96.9%, 89.5%, 92.9%, respectively. T2WI and DCE-MR showed a sensitivity of 80.0% and 77.1%, respectively, in diagnosing myometrial invasion. Conclusion Both ADC and FA were able to distinguish between cancerous verss non-cancerous areas within superficial myometrium (although FA was more sensitive based on AUC values). In addition, FA was superior to ADC, and more sensitive than T2WI and DCE-MR, in evaluating myometrial invasion. FT images provided visual confirmation of irregular arrangement and direction of the fibers due to proliferation of stromal cells caused by superficial myometrial invasion.
Dynamic Enhanced MRI in the Diagnosis of Endometrial Carcinoma

Abstract:Objective To investigate the role of dynamic-enhanced MRI in the diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma.Methods Thirty-eight patients with endometrial carcinoma confirmed by surgicopathology undergone dynamic-enhanced MRI scans were analyzed retrospectively.The invasion in myometrium and uterine cervix were analyzed.The tumor and myometrium contrast-to-noise ratios during different phases of dynamic imaging were calculated.MR imaging findings were compared with pathologic findings.Sensitivity,specificity,diagnostic accuracy,positive and negative predictive values of MR imaging in depicting myometrial and cervical infiltration were calculated.Results Respec-tive sensitivity,specificity,and positive and negative predictive values in assessing myometrial infiltration were 96.8%,85.7%,96.8%,85.7%;those for cervical infiltration were 85.7%,91.7%,85.7%,91.7%,respectively.The diagnostic accuracy(94.7%)of dynamic imaging in depicting deep myometrial infiltration were significantly higher than that of T2WI(78.9%)(P<0.05).There was a significant improvement in tumor and myometrium contrast-to-noise ratios during the equilibrium phase compared with the arterial and venous phases(P<0.01).Conclusion Dynamic-enhanced MRI is highly accurate in preoperative diagnosis of endometrial carcinoma,which will benefit for the treat of endometrial carcinoma.

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the features of MRI of endometrial carcinoma and to evaluate the value of MRI in preoperative staging of endometrial carcinoma.Methods: MRI features in 33 cases of endome trial carcioma diagnosed pathologically by diagnostic uterine curettage were retrospectively analyzed.29 of 33 cases performed operation,in which the staging by MRI was compared with pathologic results.Results: The MRI features of endometrial carcinoma included enlarged uterus,diffuse and irregular thickening in endometrium,low signal on T1 W1 and relative high signal on T2 W1,Presence of enhancement,increasing signal on T2W1 and blurred and interrupted junction zone when muscalar layer was involved.The sensitivity of MRI was 93.94% in diagnosing endometrial carcinoma,the total accurate rate was 72.41% and the accurate rate in diagnosing endometrial carcinoma in stase Ia was 50%.Conclusion: MRI can clearly display the extent and depth of endometrial carcinoma from various directions MRI is obviously superior to other imaging examinations The application of MRI in diagnosis in disease in stage Ia should be fur therly improved.

Abstract:Background: Gynecological Pelvic masses are common problem that are commonly discovered during routine gynecologic or physical examinations. Radiologists routinely evaluate a wide range of pelvic masses during daily practice. Proper management depends on proper preoperative assessment with the help of clinical examination, laboratory tests and different imaging modalities. Radiological evaluation includes ultrasonography (US), computed tomography (CT) and recently magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) is widely used in protocols for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the female pelvis. It provides functional and structural information about biological tissues, without the use of ionizing radiation or intravenous administration of contrast medium. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the role of diffusion weighted imaging in the characterization of gynecological pelvic masses and differentiation between benign and malignant tumors. Patients and Methods: This study was performed on 63 patients. All patients had US findings of uterine and adnexal lesions then they underwent conventional MRI with contrast & DWI. Results: DWI is significant promising tool factors for characterization of gynecological tumors and differentiation between benign & malignant lesions with high sensitivity 95% (81%:99% with 95% CI). The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of detection of the nature of the lesions have been increased after adding of DWI to the conventional imaging. Conclusions: Adding of DWI to the conventional MRI improves the sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis and allows confident diagnosis and differentiation between benign and malignant lesions.

Abstract:Purpose: This study aimed to compare dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) with T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) for the preoperative staging of early endometrial carcinoma.Methods: This retrospective study included 22 subjects with early endometrial carcinoma who underwent 3.0 T MRI examination prior to hysterectomy. DCE-MRI and T2WI were evaluated for the preoperative staging of endometrial carcinoma. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and accuracy of DCE-MRI and T2WI were assessed and compared using the revised International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics surgical staging guidelines (2009) as the reference standard.Results: Out of the 22 cases of endometrial carcinoma, the use of the reference standard method led to the staging of 14 as IA and eight as IB. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and accuracy of DCE-MRI for preoperative staging were 100% (95% confidence interval: 0.73-1.0), 62.5% (95% CI: 0.26-0.90), 82.4% (95% CI: 0.56-0.95), 100% (95% CI: 0.46-1.0), and 86.4%, respectively, and these values were 85.7% (95% CI: 0.56-0.97), 75% (95% CI: 0.36-0.96), 85.7% (95% CI: 0.56-0.97), 75% (95% CI: 0.36-0.96), and 81.8%, respectively, for T2WI. Thus, the sensitivity and accuracy of DCE-MRI were greater than those of T2WI for preoperative endometrial carcinoma staging.Conclusion: DCE-MRI was more sensitive but less specific than T2WI for the preoperative staging of early endometrial carcinoma. DCE-MRI may serve as a useful and reliable tool for the preoperative assessment of endometrial carcinoma.
Clinical application of body diffusion weighted MR imaging in the diagnosis and preoperative N staging of cervical cancer

Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the clinical impact of body diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) on the diagnosis and preoperative N staging of cervical cancer. Methods: Twenty-four patients (mean age 37.9 years old) with proved cervical cancer by cervical biopsy and 24 female patients with other suspected pelvic abnormalities received preoperative body DWI scan. Results of body DWI were compared with pathological findings. The apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values of normal cervix and different pathological types of cervical cancer were compared. ADC value of normal or inflammatory lymph nodes was also compared with that of metastatic ones. Student's t test was used for statistical analysis. Results: There were 5 adenocarcinomas and 19 epitheliomas showed with biopsy results, and DWI showed 21 cervical lesions out of them (87.5%). ADC values of the normal cervix (n = 24), epithelioma (n = 19), and adenocarcinoma (n = 5) were (1.73 +/- 0.31) x 10(-3), (0.88 +/- 0.22) x 10(-3), and (1.08 +/- 0.12) x 10(-3) mm2/s, respectively. Statistical analysis showed significant difference in ADC value between normal cervical tissue and either tumor tissues (both P < 0.01). In patients had lymphadenectomy (n = 24), totally 67 lymph nodes including 16 metastatic lymph nodes were pathologically analyzed, and DWI showed 66 (98.5%) out of them. ADC values of normal/inflammatory and metastatic lymph nodes were (1.07 +/- 0.16) x 10(-3) and (0.77 +/- 0.13) x 10(-3) mm2/s (P < 0.01). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of ADC value of metastatic lymph node showed that area under curve was 0.961. Conclusions: ADC value in cervical carcinoma is lower than that in normal cervix, and ADC may have predictive value in subtype discrimination. ADC value may improve the preoperative characterization of lymph node metastasis. And at least abdominal and pelvic DWI scan is suggested for N staging evaluation in such patients.
Tissue Characteristics of Endometrial Carcinoma Analyzed by Quantitative Synthetic MRI and Diffusion-Weighted Imaging

Abstract:Background: This study investigates the association of T1, T2, proton density (PD) and the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) with histopathologic features of endometrial carcinoma (EC). Methods: One hundred and nine EC patients were prospectively enrolled from August 2019 to December 2020. Synthetic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was acquired through one acquisition, in addition to diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and other conventional sequences using 1.5T MRI. T1, T2, PD derived from synthetic MRI and ADC derived from DWI were compared among different histopathologic features, namely the depth of myometrial invasion (MI), tumor grade, cervical stromal invasion (CSI) and lymphovascular invasion (LVSI) of EC by the Mann–Whitney U test. Classification models based on the significant MRI metrics were constructed with their respective receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, and their micro-averaged ROC was used to evaluate the overall performance of these significant MRI metrics in determining aggressive histopathologic features of EC. Results: EC with MI had significantly lower T2, PD and ADC than those without MI (p = 0.007, 0.006 and 0.043, respectively). Grade 2–3 EC and EC with LVSI had significantly lower ADC than grade 1 EC and EC without LVSI, respectively (p = 0.005, p = 0.020). There were no differences in the MRI metrics in EC with or without CSI. Micro-averaged ROC of the three models had an area under the curve of 0.83. Conclusions: Synthetic MRI provided quantitative metrics to characterize EC with one single acquisition. Low T2, PD and ADC were associated with aggressive histopathologic features of EC, offering excellent performance in determining aggressive histopathologic features of EC.
