Abstract:The view is a bridge across users and database of Lotus Notes system.The view with an excellent design may use many kinds of methods of sort.The normal method of sort can use auto or user ordering column,and it can have one or many ordering columns.Because this method only permits up or down order in a column,it can only achieve simple ordering function.Complex sort method using hidden column can overcome the restriction.In this article,the writer gives a full scale introduction to the simple and complex sort method in the design of view with Lotus Notes.A example of complex sort methods is also given.
