Abstract:Contractual control and social control are two important control mechanisms in the process of inter-organizational learning.At present,there exist two incompatible viewpoints about the interaction of two control mechanisms.Aiming at the deficiency,a framework for researching the relationship of inter-organizational learning,control mechanisms and innovation is provided.The interaction of two control mechanisms and its impact on innovation are analyzed in Chinese business tradition,and the paper puts forward guidance for Chinese firms to adopt more effective control mechanisms in the process of inter-organizational learning and improve innovation.
