Abstract:OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical characteristics of the patients with autoimmune liver disease who were enrolled the hospital from Jan 2011 to Mar 2013 and the analyze the related risk factors of the occult hepatitis B virus(HBV) infections so as to explore a more effective way to find the autoimmune liver disease in the early stage.METHODS A total of 81 cases of patients, who were diagnosed as the autoimmune liver disease in the hospital from Jan 2011 to Mar 2013,were enrolled in the study and were divided into the autoimmune hepatitis group(AIH group) with 23 cases, the primary biliary cirrhosis group(PBC group) with 9 cases, and the primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC group) with 49 cases, while 87 cases of healthy individuals who took physical examination in the outpatients department were chosen as the control group, then the incidence of occult HBV infections was compared between the four groups of patients with difference subtypes of autoimmune liver diseases.RESULTS The male to female ratio was 1∶22 in the AIH group, the PSC group 1∶3.5,the PBC group 1∶23.5,the female patients were more than the male patients;the senile patients aged more than 50 years old were the main population. The incidence rate of the occult HBV infections was 13.04% in the AIH group,11.11% in the PSC group, and 16.33% in the PBC group, which were higher than that of the control group(P0.05).The difference in such indicators as the gender, age, serum IGG,or serum IGM between the HBV-positive patients was not statistically significant.CONCLUSION The clinical characteristics of the autoimmune liver diseases are similar to the domestic reported findings, with the predilection in the senile female. The positive antibody expression rate was 75.51%.The incidence rate of HBV infections is relatively high in the ALD patients.
