Abstract:In recent years,the tungsten industry in our country developed rapidly.Tungsten and tungsten products are widely used in various fields of our national economy.The tungsten industry has been an indispensable pillar industry in modern time.Tungsten is one of the few competitive resources in our country,however,its current situation worth our concern.Tungsten resources and status of tungsten industry in our country,development tendency of this industry are introduced.An opinion of sustainable development,establishing a scientific and reasonable and operation mechanism,optimizing the industrial structure,developing new products in the tungsten industry has been aroused.

Abstract:China's tungsten reserves, production, consumption and volume of export all rank first in the world. China has been producing more than 80% of the total production in the world since 2000, and has preponderant influence in the nonferrous metal market of the world. Tungsten as an important strategic resource has found a wide utilization in modern life, industry, oil exploration, military equipments etc. The present paper reviews the progress in research on geochemistry of tungsten in last 20 years, including tungsten distributions in the solar system, in the earth and in the principal units and products from both endogenesis and supergenesis. The geochemical behavior of tungsten in magmas, hydrothermal fluids, supergenesis, and related effects on bionts, environment and health are also discussed. It is pointed out that the study on geochemistry of tungsten in its effects on environment and health is almost a research gap in our country now. Special attention should be paid to this aspect of research.

Abstract:Aims at reducing resource and energy consumption, protecting environment, developing the circular economy, realizing overall utilization of three wastes (waste gas, waste water and waste residues), it points out that China ferroalloy industry develops rapidly, the capacity and output refresh record continually, China realizes transformation to a ferroalloy industry giant, but its technological level and equipment still need continual upgrading and progress. It presents that the current key works are to research ferrosilico-aluminium technology produced by coal cinder of power plant, new melting technology for ferrochrome, ferronickel production technology and smelting stainless technology directly by nickel-containing molten iron. So the ferroalloy industry competitiveness and sustainable development can be further enhanced.

Abstract:In light of the fact that tungsten wire is gradually replacing high-carbon steel wire as a diamond cutting line, it is particularly important to study tungsten alloy wire with better strength and performance. According to this paper, in addition to various technological factors (powder preparation, press forming, sintering, rolling, rotary forging, annealing, wire drawing, etc.), the main factors affecting the properties of the tungsten alloy wire are the composition of the tungsten alloy, the shape and size of the powder, etc. Combined with the research results in recent years, this paper summarizes the effects of changing the composition of tungsten materials and improving the processing technology on the microstructure and mechanical properties of tungsten and its alloys and points out the development direction and trend of tungsten and its alloy wires in the future.

Abstract:In this paper,the author presents his understanding and suggestion on practice and research work in metallurgical industry of China.Several problems concerning Baosteel R D arrangement,such as,saving more energy and reducing consumption,exploiting and making effective use of low-grade ore under the condition of the bottleneck in metallurgical resources,driving Baosteel into the range of the world class enterprises in environment protection,especially in improvement of air quality (including reduction of dust fall and carbon dioxide emission),upgrading and expanding its products into new steel materials and making its metallurgical processes shorter and more efficient.

Abstract:Abstract This paper analyzes a series of problems which need to be solved for a long time in China’s fuze manufacturing industry, such as high resource consumption, poor economic benefit, low technology content, mostly in the low end of the industrial value chain, and points out that advanced manufacturing technology can promote the transformation and development of China’s fuze manufacturing industry. Based on the brief introduction of the concept, development history and key technologies of advanced manufacturing technology, this paper focuses on the application background, theoretical research and engineering progress of micro nano structure precision machining technology, intelligent additive manufacturing technology, intelligent manufacturing system and industrial internet. It is proposed that China should take “made in China 2025” as the traction, vigorously develop advanced manufacturing technology, and promote the sustainable, green and healthy development of China’s manufacturing industry.

Abstract:Purpose Technical progress is an important technique within improving China’s comparative advantages, as new and renewable technologies will be beneficial for energy security. Productive technical progress and green technical innovation are necessary to improve working conditions and productivity of industries. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study technical progress in China under such harsh competitive circumstances, as well as types of technical progress that can be promoted, productive technical progress or green technology progress, and how technical progress will affect China’s competitive advantages. Design/methodology/approach The authors perform a multi-index multi-factor constitutive model based on a sample of 468 Chinese industries, and divide the industries into four categories. Findings The results indicate that there is a “U”-shape relationship between green technology progress and comparative advantages and an inverted “U”-shape relationship between the intensity of market competition and comparative advantages. Research limitations/implications China has crossed the inflection point of the “U”-shaped curve. This, coupled with the slowing of economic growth, demonstrates the need for advocating green technology in China to decrease the pollutant discharge. Establishing Chinese national brands within overseas markets and earning a profit through the downstream of production chain enhance China’s international competitiveness. Originality/value One of the most original findings of this paper points out that China is faced with a situation in which exports are severely decreased and domestic environment pollution is increased. Vigorous promotion of green technology progress, improvement of the quality and the technical content of exported products, the establishment of national brand within the overseas market, as well as enhancement of China’s international competitiveness, is needed.

Abstract:Tungsten alloy has excellent performance and has been widely used in military, aerospace and nuclear energy, and other cutting-edge industries. However, tungsten alloy has large hardness, high strength, and poor plastic deformation ability, which resulted in high cutting force and serious tool wear during the cutting process, leading to low surface quality of the workpiece after molding. Therefore, it is of great significance to strengthen the research on tungsten alloy cutting technology to promote the development of tungsten alloy application. Firstly, the research progress of tungsten alloy cutting process technology has been systematically reviewed, and the current status of cutting parameters optimization, new cutting methods and devices, and cutting fluid technology have been emphatically reviewed. Secondly, the types of tungsten alloy cutting tools, the relevant tool micro-texture, and tool coatings technology have been briefly described, and the composite cutting technology such as cryogenic cutting, electroplastically assisted cutting, and ultrasonic vibration assisted cutting and the effect of cutting performance prediction technology on tungsten alloy machining performance have been summarized. Finally, the development prospect of tungsten alloy cutting technology has been prospected.
