Abstract:As the consistency prediction of data view in information systems and actual data, data quality is of vital importance to decision making and the development of banking industry. In this paper, we firstly analyze the influence of data quality on the banking industry, and make researches on the current situation of banking industry data quality automated management. Then five evaluation dimensions (completeness, timeliness, validity, consistency and accuracy) of data are investigated, and specific evaluation indexes according to the applications of data in the banking systems are proposed. Based on the research, we design and implement a data quality assessment management system for the banking industry. The assessment system proposed is deployed in a domestic bank and good results have been achieved.

Abstract:The domestic commercial banks build a new generation of business system by the introduction of the overseas core business system. It has become a trend over the next few years that integrating various business channels by centralizing business platforms and altering the business model based on accounting treatment into the operation model of customer-oriented. This paper reports the key technology of the new generation business system adopted by a domestic commercial bank, which has recently been online successfully as the first case in china. The new system is divided into access layer, support layer, application service layer and business system layer which respectively implements the functions of docking client, unifying data format, exchanging data, database services and etc. This paper describes the target architecture, technical support and the physical configuration of the new system. The target system includes eight application groups: The core and third part systems; The service bus; Plug-in-business system; Agency business system; Managed application System; Analysis applications System; Payment, Union Pay and other external front-end system; Fore-end serves channel and their support system. And take the process scheme of the credit management system and core business inquiring and reports printing system for example to show the effectiveness of the new system.

Abstract:Component-based commercial banks' core system or Core Banking System (CBS) refers to the design and implementation of CBS using the computer system components. This paper discusses two parts: the Integrated Financial Enterprise (IFE), or rather, the CBS framework for component-based application services, and Financial Level 7(FL7), or rather, the service framework of the application layer language. The paper defines the FL7 language elements, descriptive methods and formal specification by means of mapping the components from the service layer onto the connectors from the semantic layer. Various business requirements within and between banks and requirements of business process reengineering are met by adjusting the connector glue parts on the semantic layer. Finally, the paper demonstrates the FL7 π-calculus. © 2011 Binary Information Press.
An Analysis of the Developmental Status and Risks of Interbank Business

Abstract:This paper analyses the developmental status and risks of the interbank business of Chinese commercial banks,and especially presents a comparative analysis of the interbank business of the China Minsheng Bank and the Industrial Bank.The results of the paper show that interbank business is conducive to the mutual fund transfer between financial institutions,but its rapid growth has changed the traditional business mode and profit mode of commercial banks;interbank business has the characteristics of high-leverage operation,serious mismatch of term structure,depending on wholesale financing market,etc.,which enhances systemic correlation and inherent vulnerability of financial institutions.Therefore,regulatory authorities should guide the interbank business,build an effective,incentive-compatible and macro-prudential management system,meanwhile accelerate the reform of financial system.

Abstract:The current operating modes of domestic financial enterprises are experiencing a significant transform from sector to bank.Introducing overseas advanced IT platform system to reform and constructing a new generation core banking system that is in line with domestic regulatory rules have become an inevitable trend.This paper proposed a requirement + semantic + service three-tier service architecture model for bank core business system(BSBS).Moreover,the proposed drate of commercial banks enterprise application integration IFE was designed and develpoed,which includes IFE general framework model,application-layer communication protocol FL7 in financial industry,the IFE core component library(IFE-Infrastructure),system testing standards and the corresponding test asset library.Based on the IFE proposed draft,commercial bank can accomplish the variance analysis to design IT platforms and BSBS applicable to the bank,to avoid duplicate introduction,to carry out assessment and testing to business process and varieties of process reengineering programs,and to avoid the risk in the bank's process changing.

Abstract:From the perspective of system engineering, the paper analyzes openness, scale and complexity of China bankcard industry, researches on general requirement of China bankcard information system, i.e., global optimum, balanced drive, hierarchical management and dynamic promotion, studies engineering features of China bankcard informatization featuring long industrial chain, low informatization degree, high difficulty of coordina-tion and complex management dimensions, and then provides general engineering methods of bankcard informa-tization by combining with the engineering practice of China Bankcard Information Exchange System. The paper provides a top-level design method featuring macroscopic coordination and global optimum, an engineering roadmap of building core system with high priority and establishing standard in advance, and an industry promo-tion policy of comprehensive balance and orderly coordination, then analyses and discusses engineering manage-ment methods of bankcard informatization engineering, such as requirement management, innovation management, standard management and operation management, and finally envisions the future development of China bankcard industry.

Abstract:Commercial banks play an important role in financial system of China. This article introduces the culture, structure and strategy of China’s commercial banks. The culture includes two stages of the era of planned economy and the era of market economy. The era of market economy began at the end of the 1970s. In the last forty years, China has established a complete commercial banking system. China’s commercial bank system includes stateowned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks, urban commercial banks, rural financial institutions and other types. In this section, this article quotes the latest data from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) on banking. The last section is strategy. Specifically, the geographical area and market positioning of all kinds of commercial banks are clear. They have a diversified service channel and a rich variety of products. The development of Internet banking is in the ascendant. Because of the expansion of off balance sheet business, they are facing a high risk in recent years. The government is working to reduce the leverage of commercial banks to control the overall risk level.

Abstract:Internet banking allows companies to access banking services via the Internet without traditional temporal and spatial limitations. From a bank's viewpoint, Internet banking provides opportunities to expand markets, increase service efficiency, lower the cost of operations, and improve customer loyalty. However, the enterprise adoption of Internet banking in China is still low, compared to the developed countries. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence the adoption of enterprise Internet banking will help both service providers and enterprise clients develop strategies for incorporating Internet banking into their businesses for new opportunities. This paper investigates Internet banking adoption by Chinese companies. An empirical study is conducted using data from 174 Chinese companies. The results indicate that perceived benefits, perceived transactional risk, organizational readiness, and external pressure exert significant effects on enterprise adoption of Internet banking in China. Based on the research findings, suggestions are provided on how to promote the usage of Internet banking in China.

Abstract:Abstract As the rapid advancement of information security company is developing quickly and the technology including big information, big computer, large cloud, and artificial intelligence are being widely used, network security has entered a new era. While ushering in huge development opportunities, it also faces severe tests. Network security is a major issue related to the comprehensive realization of a well-off society and national security, and has risen to the national strategic level. The current financial industry network security construction mainly focuses on team, process construction, and the research and development of individual tools and equipment. It lacks system research and implementation guidelines for defense technology construction based on industry IT characteristics. At the same time, there is also a lack of objective and unified measurement and evaluation standards for enterprise security defense capabilities, which restricts the improvement of cybersecurity capabilities in the financial industry to a certain extent. In terms of actual combat exercises, in various actual combat exercises over the years, the technical architecture of the bank’s network security defense has withstood the test of high-intensity confrontation. The defense process achieved zero deductions, and stood out among the participating defending teams through traceability and countermeasures, which effectively improved the network security large-scale group operations and security protection capabilities. The effectiveness of the technical architecture design is verified in actual combat, which shows that the control of the bank’s internet financial security protection system is effective. With digital computing, all banking transactions are fully automatically implemented and the bank’s clientele is systematically self-managed. It predicts that using this system, the speed can be increased by 98% and the accuracy can be increased by 12%.
