Abstract:For the application of real-time database in a petrochemical plant,the article put forwards to a new concept to resolve the communication among real-time database and DCS,control software,and Web-based user interface.The scheme is developed based on Windows 2000 Server using the technique of multe-threading,anolymous pipe and WinSock,etc.The results of long industrial running of this scheme show that it is more effective and feasible for industrial process.

Abstract:In the CAD of casting process, using three-dimensional drawing software, the parts solid modeling has became the main method of modern casting process design, and has replaced other measures gradually, which makes casting more closely with the computer together, replacing manpower and personal experience to carry out casting process design conveniently, fast and accurately. The casting process design CAD is an interactive design process and casting process database contains a plenty of categories. The database structure is so complicated that it has to make full use of computer database technology and computer graphics technology, which promotes the integration process of CAD/CAE/CAM in casting process. In the database, not only do a large number of standard data and empirical data need storing to support casting design process, but also the data generated dynamically needs to be stored and repeatedly be modified. In this paper, based on parameter of the casting production, the database was established by analyzing and calculating the data. With that database as back-end database, the casting process database management system was developed by Delphi and SQL server. The system can realize casting process data query, data storage, database maintenance and other functions, which solves the problem of Effective storage and rational utilization of casting process data generated in the CAD of casting process.

Abstract:In order to implement the share and reuse of parts resource in networked collaborative design, method combining standard technology with XML to build parts library was put forward. At first, based on PLIB the conceptual model and hierarchical organization of parts resource were built. Then, the formalized-expression and storage for parts resource adopting tabular layouts of article characteristics were implemented. Thirdly, each rule of mapping the two kinds of data mode, EXPRESS and tabular layouts of article characteristics, to XML schema was presented to realize the parts library data conversion and transmission in network environment. Abstract:On the basis of AutoCAD, a visual casting process CAD system for copper alloy, using VC++.NET 2002 and re-development tool ObjectARX, is developed by key technologies including exchanging data between Access and MFC ODBC, graphics preview and real-time rendering. This system also accords with the national casting standards & requirement of a corporation, can realize real-time feedback in casting process design and improve the efficiency and accuracy availably.

Abstract:In the development of interactive standard parts library,the standard parts are assembled on the location that the user has chosen with the coordinate transformation method.This standard parts library has been developed on the platform of Pro/E with the aid of Visual C++ programming environment and the functions provided by Pro/Toolkit.There is less relation between the parent feature and child feature in the generated assembly and it is easy for future redesign.As a result,the designer' s workload will be greatly reduced with this software.

Abstract:In order to reuse standard parts resources of CNC machine tool,shorten the development cycle,a standard parts database for CNC machine tool was constructed.The web-based CNC machine tool standard parts 3D database was built by analyzing the design requirements,implementation method and framework structure,which could help to rapidly reuse the CNC machine tool standard parts resources,including the reuse of standard parts models and non-geometric information.The standard parts database provides foundation for CNC machine tool development of digital integrated information,and also can enhance the rapid response capacity on the market for enterprise,so it has great significance on standardization,universal development of domestic high-performance CNC machine tool.

Abstract:The parts in the structure design of stamping die are usually serialized standard parts including punch,bottom die,pilot pin,fixed block,guide posts and bushings etc or typical parts like upper holder or lower holder which have the same or similar structural unit.To improve working efficiency,the development of standard part library and intelligent design support tools were researched.With VC++ programming the system made user's dialogs for components searching and choosing,parameters checking,model viewing and so on as standard COM or DLL,which making user's interface of standard part library independent of any kind of CAD platform and easy to plug-in any CAD platform so as to be used widely.

Abstract:In the basis of the existing computer aided process planning (CAPP) developing tool, the concept of CAPP developing tool was described. The basic hierarchical model of CAPP developing tool was proposed, which is the organic integration of the group technology, information model of process planning, object-oriented software, artificial intelligence and database techniques. The architecture of practical dedicated CAPP/numerical control (NC) system was presented. The results have shown that the model is effective.

Abstract:On the Pro/E platform,based on the multi-layered parametric technology composed of component level,part level and feature level,through the integration of many secondary development technologies such as Pro/Toolkit,UDF and Pro/Program,the intelligent standard parts library system was constructed.This system can be compatible with the standard parts in part and assembly,meanwhile,by combination with the Pro/E assembly positioning,the functions such as the additional processing on the standard parts and automatic drilling are achieved so as to enlarge the application range of the intelligent standard parts library and improve its intelligentialize.

Abstract:In order to improve the deficiency of the traditional methods of product design, using SolidWorks software, SQL Server database management system and programming languages with VB, a virtual assembly system was provided by inosculating distributed network technology, which meeted the demand of dispersed collaborative digital design and manufacture. We studied some enabling technologies. An attempt of the use of this virtual assembly system in the machine tools was made, a detailed implementation was also given in the end.

Abstract:Based on the database technology and modularization designing method,a database system for titanium alloys was developed using Visual Basic 6.0 object-oriented programming language.It is an intelligent inquiry system concerning all kinds of information in the field of titanium alloys.The database system consists of 6 modules,the basic knowledge,the information inquiry,the application,the standard,the data information management and system.With the help of the database system developed,it is found that the information of titanium alloys could be scientifically classified and systematically managed.The system provides simple and recognizable user interfaces for ease of use,and it facilitates the related data and the highly efficient inquiring methods.

Abstract:A clutch parametric CAD system based on the Pro/E has been investigated. VC + +6.0 were selected as a programming platform . With its advantages the interface of the software was programmed and intelligent design has been achieved. The asynchronous mode of Pro/Toolkit has been applied, so that designer don't need to interact with Pro/E. Object-oriented thinking have been applied in process of software development. Friendly interface is easy to operate. The results reveal that clutch designers can improve design efficiency more than 30% with application of this system.

Abstract:This paper detailedly discusses management of graphics in engineering database (EDB) aimed at vehicle engine. Client/server architecture is adopted in the system. The reference development and application platform is assumed to be the Microsoft Visual Studio development system version 60, the Microsoft Windows NT operating systemversion 4(Service Pack 4), Oracle 8i as background data management, I-DEAS version 8 as CAD design software. Communication of 3D graphics information among subsystem users is achieved by ways of Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML). We study a mechanism that converts model data to VRML file. 3D graphics adopted VRML file are stored in Oracle database (global database) in terms of BLOB datatype. The implement of system has extended and applicable value to solve management problem of large data associated with graphics in project and of graphic data file(LOB) for I-DEAS.

Abstract:With the development of mechanical production technology,CAPP(Computer Aided Process Planning) instead of the traditional process design method has important significance.However,the design of CAPP system is difficult because of the structural complexity of the various parts.This paper puts forward the combination unit library to solve the description of the part information in CAPP system.The paper mainly studies the computer aided process planning on the base of combination unit library.It discusses deeply three aspects;building the technology database,importing the parts information and exporting the process.The system builds the technology database and develops the technology decision-making under the VFP6.0 that inducts user to generate the process taking advantage of menu on the base of rotational parts.So,through the establishment of the combination unit library for different parts categories,the parts enter system in the CAPP system can be simplified and adapt to the tasks of the CAPP system better.
