Abstract:Poly(e-caprolactone)(PCL) porous scaffolds are prepared by freeze-drying/particle-leaching method and characterized by scanning electronic microscope. The porosity of the scaffold is calculated by measuring the mass and volume of the scaffold. As compared with scaffold obtained by single freeze-drying or particle-leaching method, PCL scaffold prepared by freeze-drying/particle-leaching method possesses high porosity(86%), uniform pore distribution, good interconnection and controllable pore size. The structure of scaffold can be controlled by adjusting the quenching temperature and particle diameter of NaCl.
