Abstract:Many application partitioning methods have been proposed based on different functional modules in distributed environment to gain efficient use of resources, improved performance and high scalability. This paper introduces popular application partitioning architectures, and presents a different partitioning method and an on-line workload balance algorithm from a new perspective: runtime data, called data based application partitioning. This architecture benefits applications with higher performance, scalability and dynamic workload balancing. A financial trading system reengineered from J2EE standalone environment into data partitioning distributed environment gives a nice proof.

Abstract:Microservice architecture is a programming method that decomposes a single application into various smaller services and then executes them. However, this approach introduces new challenges in communication between services because of the different data structures and technology types among the multiple services. Therefore, interprocess communication (IPC) between services has become one of the important challenges facing microservice architecture. Additionally, the choice of IPC technology is an important decision that can affect the nonfunctional requirements of the entire architecture. To address this problem, this study proposes a microservice communication technology based on remote procedure calls (RPC) called RPCX to improve the communication performance between services. The RPCX communication mechanism based on RPC uses the nonblocking IO communication model and Protobuf data serialization standard method. It identifies RPC communication at the client and server ends using dynamic proxy and annotation configuration technology. We use RPCX and two traditional service communication technologies to conduct performance stress benchmarking and evaluate the performance of RPCX through the time consumed to process the requests and transactions per second (TPS) performance stress indicators. The results show that the performance of RPCX is better than that of the other two technologies under different threads and requests. In this study, we show that RPCX has overall better performance than the other two service communication techniques under different threads and requests.

Abstract:Do research on blocking and wakeup mechanism,dynamic adjustment,thread exit safely,parameter processing,the system maximam number of threads limits and other details in thread pool,to ensure its independence and generality under the different scenarios;meanwhile,using a linked list of array-based mechanisms to improve the search and allocation algorithm in thread pool,to be stable in time complexity O(1),and avoid the problem that allocate and query performance will degrade in the traditional thread pool when the number of threads allocated is too large,experimental results show that there is a great saving in cost with the traditional distribution system compared to the thread.

Abstract:The innovation of grid technology is introduced based on the technology of giant computer and Internet. Grid forms computer resources distributed everywhere into integration of sharing sufficiently resources including CPU, memory, database etc. through high-speed Internet. Ambiguously saying, the function of Internet connects all kinds of computers; that of Web- site connects all kinds of information resources; while that of grid connects all kinds computer resources. A grid application environment is parallel, distributed, heterogeneous and dynamic etc. Furthermore, it will need to dynamically and flexibly compose resources and services across dynamic environment. In a wide-area, the need for fault tolerance is essential in the distributed environment. Grid RPC clients and servers must exhibit independent failures. Hence, to accomplish this, grid RPC will have to use an event and messaging service to manage the occurrence of errors. This document is motivated by the need for a remote procedure call mechanism for grid environments, and the difference compared to traditional RPC is presented, as well as the mechanism and characters in grid environments. The document begins by presenting a basic RPC model and enumerating possiblefaults in grid RPC. Four basic RPC operations are defined. Finally, the requirements for grid RPC are dicussed.

Abstract:To support ERP and PDM system integration better, the characteristics are analyzed. The technology of remote function call is presented. A kind of integration model of ERP and PDM is composed. Data exchange of system integration based on data stream direction is discussed. The conception of heterogeneous data translator is put forward, and its data structure is given. The advantages of RFC was expounded. Finally, an application example of typical integration between PDM and ERP was provided to verify the feasibility and efficiency of RFC technology.

Abstract:Internet/Web establishes an open and uniform platform for the share and publishing of computing resources, consequently it becomes valuable that outstanding science software can serve for remote invoke and share duty. In this paper, a Remote Finite Element Analysis and Simulation (R-FEAS) service framework is brought forward, which is based on three-tier architecture—Browser/Computing Service Agent/Server. The presentation and management of Finite Element Analysis task, Computing Service Agent, communication mechanism, server application criterion and visualization are concretely discussed. Finally, a simple prototype is presented.

Abstract:In order to achieve high-performance and stable network communication service,the key issues of client information identifying and extracting,resource management and message sequence dealing in I/O Complete Port(IOCP) development were analyzed.And the improved methods of IOCP parameter extension,memory pool,object pool and ring-buffer were proposed respectively.On the basis of underlying encapsulation for IOCP using these methods,a scalable network communication module for enterprise applications was designed and implemented.The experimental results show that the module can support massive concurrent connections,and has higher data throughput by reasonable resource consumption.The proposed solution has also showed good performance in the actual project application.

Abstract:In view of real-time information exchange system(RIES)in data center,the applications require real-time and reliable transmission of data flow.This paper analyzed the features of data flow in data center,and proposed an architecture of RIES.Furthermore,this paper focused on the methods of reliable real-time data transmission.The methods uses the thread-control module and the message synchronous blocking I/O model to achieve the concurrent data flow processing.Moreover,the package loss of data flow is solved by using a loop caching mechanism,and the reliability of the system is ensured by double-system synchronized technique.In order to achieve real-time data transmission and decrease delay in the process of system processing,the queue priority based tasks scheduling (QPTS) algorithm was proposed.The algorithm implemented the on-demand scheduling of data flow,which is based on priority,deadline and amount of remaining packets,meanwhile it improved the processing speed of RIES.The evaluation results show the efficiency of the algorithm,and guarantee the real-time and reliability of the system.

Abstract:Simulation data was partitioned into the control and status information, so the simulation data transmission by using RTP/RTCP was proposed to improve the reliability and real timeliness; and data queue, assembly and recognition of the length-variant packet, detection of network exception were analyzed in detail to improve the performance. By using object-oriented framework and multi-thread technology, network communication components were designed and implemented for simulation client side and server side respectively. Through the usage in an ATC simulation platform, these network communication components are proved to be effective for DIS application, and also bear the features of reusability, extensibility and ease of use.

Abstract:The concept of resource pool has a very long history. Propelled by the need to share CPU cycles of supercomputers for highthroughput computing jobs from the scientific community, the vision is most recently explored by the advocates of Grid. On the other hand, the advent of P2P researches has demonstrated the feasibility of integrating potentially unlimited amount of less powerful machines around the world. Organizing a P2P resource pool thus becomes an interesting research topic. This paper attempts to address two problems. The first is how to organize a P2P resource pool, and our answer is to combine the self-organizing strength of P2P DHT with an in-system, selfscaling monitoring infrastructure that is layered on top of DHT. The second question is the utility of the P2P resource pool for interesting applications. And we choose to showcase its power by optimizing wide-area application level multicasting (ALM), a problem far more challenging and interesting than conventional tasks such as massively parallel computation. We show that utilizing spare resources in the pool results in significant savings for single ALM session. Furthermore, we adopt a purely market-driven approach to optimize multiple concurrent sessions. As expected, sessions of higher priority are given higher share of resources.

Abstract:CAR is a binary component technology,and Elastos is a software environment based on CAR technology,the running enviro-ment of CAR Component.Elastos represents as operating system or middleware,and treats the net as computing and storing resources.This make the application development easily in distributed network enviroment.Java is a cross-platform language,this feature depends on the Java virtual machine to satisfy The Java Virtual Machine Specification on the specific platform.Java program have to be interpreted be-fore being executed on Java virtual machine,then its performance,power and size can hardly be accomplished with native code.This paper presents a technology called JavaCAR mixed programming model,which is base on dalvik,the Google’s open-source project,simulta-neously take CAR and Java virtual machine technology into consideration.The JavaCAR let CAR cooperate with Java virtual machine,this will make the Java program work more effectively but needn’t change the Java programming model.

Abstract:Parallel program performance analysis plays an important role in exploring parallelism and improving efficiency of parallel programs. A remote interactive parallel program performance analysis tool based on dynamic code instrumentation is designed on the basis of analysis and comparison of existing program performance analysis tools. A hierarchical structure is adopted by this tool which consists of 3 parts: client, server and computing nodes. Performance analysis tasks are submitted to the server via the graphical user interface of the client, and then actual analysis processes are started on the computing nodes by the server to collect performance data for visualization in the client. The performance information gained by this tool is comprehensive and intuitive, so it is quite helpful for users to analyze performance, locate bottlenecks of programs, and optimize programs.
