Abstract:In recent years, adaptive learning has become a hot topic in education due to the development of artificial intelligence and other technologies. Many adaptive learning platforms for K12 education have emerged globally, relying on large-scale content resources, learning data, and intelligent recommendation engines, to provide personalized teaching services for students in K12 education. As countries worldwide gradually enter the era of intelligent education, they have begun to put forward higher requirements for teachers' artificial intelligence literacy (AI literacy). K12 education, as the most important part of the education system, has a profound influence on students' character development, moral construction, and thought shaping. Therefore, teachers in this stage should actively respond to the call and continuously strengthen the cultivation of their AI literacy. In summary, this paper first briefly discusses the development and technology of adaptive learning; then it sheds light on the importance of teachers' AI literacy in adaptive learning; next, it introduces strategies to improve teachers' AI literacy in K12 education; and finally, the future development of adaptive learning is summarized and prospected.
