Abstract:By using polystyrene-divinylbenzene microspheres as the matrix, an anion chromatographic stationary phase was prepared through polyelectrolyte agglomeration combined with hyperbranching modification. Cationic polyelectrolytes were synthesized by 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether , methylamine , the effect of methylamine dropping rate on the chromatographic performance of stationary phase was investigated. In addition, the effects of polyelectrolyte agglomeration amount, microsphere pore size, and the cycle times of hyperbranched grafting reaction on the chromatographic performance of stationary phase were optimized. A mixture of 2.0 mmol/L sodium carbonate and 2.0 mmol/L sodium bicarbonateat a flow rate of 1 mL/min was used as the mobile phase. Seven common anions including F-, Cl-, NO2-, Br-, NO3-, PO43- and SO42- were separated well within 30 min. The chromatographic performance of 8 batches of stationary phase prepared at different times showed that the theoretical plate number of the common 7 anions ranged from 13500 to 33200 N/m, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) of retention time was less than 5.31%. After 100 separation tests on the same chromatographic column, the RSD of each ion retention time did not exceed 1.1%, and the RSDs of peak height and peak area were both less than 6%.
