Abstract:Genetic Algorithm(GA) search methods are rooted in evolution mechanisms and the nature of genetics, it has been applied to a wide range of industrial applications. But recent research shows that standard genetic algorithms have some defects such as unsatisfactory local searching ability and premature convergence. The article proposed a genetic algorithm to overcome these shortcomings. The simulated result shows that the hybrid algorithm helps the practical system achieves the better performance.

Abstract:The use of genetic algorithm based test method is presented to simulation system testing, and the basic testing process is provided. The method to decide the weight of target path and select the target path set is explored primarily. The programming model of the number of test data is proposed, most importantly, with the optimal search, target of test data of whole simulation system. The fitness function is presented, which incorporates path weight, coverage ratio and approximation level. Example shows the reasonability and efficiency of the method.

Abstract:In this paper, a new kind of algorithm was opposed combined with simulated annealing algorithm and new genetic algorithm. The simulated annealing (SA) method was brought into the genetic algorithm (GA), which combined the two methods into a new global optimization algorithm. The use of SA reduces the stress to choose for GA. Father more, the combination can reduce the search area and avoid the premature convergence problem existing in genetic algorithm, so to improve the convergence of the algorithm. The crossover operator in genetic operation plays a more important role in this algorithm. Through computer simulation, we can see there are advantages in this algorithm compared with traditional genetic algorithm and other pre-existing simulated annealing-genetic algorithm.

Abstract:The genetic algorithm and marching method are integrated into a novel algorithm to solve the surface intersection problem. By combining genetic algorithm with local searching method the efficiency of evolution is greatly improved. By fully utilizing the global searching ability and instinct attribute for parallel computation of genetic algorithm and the local rapid convergency of marching method, the algorithm can compute the intersection robustly and generate correct topology of intersection curves. The details of the new algorithm are discussed here.

Abstract:Nowadays genetic algorithm (GA) is greatly used in engineering pedagogy as adaptive technology to learn and solve complex problems and issues. It is a meta-heuristic approach that is used to solve hybrid computation challenges. GA utilizes selection, crossover, and mutation operators to effectively manage the searching system strategy. This algorithm is derived from natural selection and genetics concepts. GA is an intelligent use of random search supported with historical data to contribute the search in an area of the improved outcome within a coverage framework. Such algorithms are widely used for maintaining high-quality reactions to optimize issues and problems investigation. These techniques are recognized to be somewhat of a statistical investigation process to search for a suitable solution or prevent an accurate strategy for challenges in optimization or searches. These techniques have been produced from natural selection or genetics principles. For random testing, historical information is provided with intelligent enslavement to continue moving the search out from the area of improved features for processing of the outcomes. It is a category of heuristics of evolutionary history using behavioral science-influenced methods like an annuity, gene, preference, or combination (sometimes refers to as hybridization). This method seemed to be a valuable tool to find solutions for problems optimization. In this paper, the author has explored the GAs, its role in engineering pedagogies, and the emerging areas where it is using, and its implementation.

Abstract:In order to overcome premature convergence in SGA, a novel adaptive genetic algorithm based on diversity maintaining is proposed. First, variance of all individuals' fitness is used to measure individual diversity in a population and to adjust crossover probability adaptively. Second, to restrain the lack of effective genes in certain loci, mutation probabilities of all alleles in each locus vary adaptively depending on gene diversity in corresponding locus. We compare the performance of the DMAGA with that of the simple genetic algorithm (SGA) and AGA in optimizing several complex functions. The simulation result shows that the novel GA can obtain higher precision solution and avoid local optima.

Abstract:Aiming at appearing premature and fluctuations in the traditional genetic algorithms(GA),three genetic manipulations of influence GA's accuracy and efficiency selection,crossover and mutation are analyzed.By using SUS,three crossovers and MUT,the convergence accuracy and speed are improved.The feasibility of its improvement is tested by using MATLAB,and the effectiveness of improved genetic algorithms is verified.

Abstract:A genetic algorithm (GA) is an evolutionary algorithm inspired by the natural selection and biological processes of reproduction of the fittest individual. GA is one of the most popular optimization algorithms that is currently employed in a wide range of real applications. Initially, the GA fills the population with random candidate solutions and develops the optimal solution from one generation to the next. The GA applies a set of genetic operators during the search process: selection, crossover, and mutation. This article aims to review and summarize the recent contributions to the GA research field. In addition, the definitions of the GA essential concepts are reviewed. Furthermore, the article surveys the real-life applications and roles of GA. Finally, future directions are provided to develop the field.

Abstract:The status of the genetic method applied to spacecraft trajectory optimi{ation was introduced.The shortcomings of indirect and direct method were given.Some key problems such as parameterized method,disposing method of constraints and genetic strategy were investigated,and some results of the authors in these problems were introduced.The demand and the application of multi-objective trajectory optimization were analyzed.Some drawbacks and advices on spacecraft trajectory optimization using genetic algorithm were pointed out.The study results show that GA is being developed into a key intelligent optimization method for spacecraft trajectory design which is different from the direct and indirect method.

Abstract:The schema theorem of the cGA(compact genetic algorithm) and the analysis of cGA′s convergence and the parameters are given. A kind of fast compact genetic algorithm (fcGA) is proposed. With the probability values that the cGA get in the beginning generations, the probability values in thousands of generations are estimated by the least square approach. The new probability matrix is composed, from which the new offspring is generated. Based on their fitness the probability matrix is updated. The simulations on the traveling salesman problem show that this algorithm is of high efficiency.

Abstract:Solving Hamilton-circle on a complete graph is a typical combinatorial optimization problem. Genetic algorithm is a good way to solve such an NP problem. In this paper, the basic genetic algorithm is improved. Particularly, the greedy optimization i-deas are applied to the selection and mutation operation in order to obtain global optimal solutions with the algorithm. In the MATLAB environment, the algorithm was simulated to implement classical Hamilton circle- TSP ( travelling salesman problem) and the results verify the feasibility and correctness of the algorithm.

Abstract:Genetic algorithms play a very important role in artificial intelligence.Performance of genetic algorithms is dramaticly influenced by algorithmic settings.To improve the research performance of genetic algorithm and avoid its limitation of local optimization,genetic algorithms is studied and it is found that the size of Pc and Pm is related to the fitness of individuals,and the algorithm should always protect the individuals with high fitness in the running process,A new adaptive genetic algorithm is applied to optimize three standard benchmark functions selected in this paper.The comparison between the results of the present algorithm and simulation of simple genetic algorithm shows that the technique has improved the performance of genetic algorithm.

Abstract:The genetic algorithm is one of the most important intelligent method in the evolutionary algorithm and it has been applied in science and engineering field widely. In order to use the genetic algorithm easily and flexibly, this paper provides a simulation platform for the genetic algorithm by using the OOP language and the platform is called SPGAO. The architecture of SPGAO is presented and each module is implemented in detail. The data structure and functions for manipulating the genetic algorithm are defined in this platform and the chromosome data type, crossover, mutation, selection operators are defined. The animation demonstration module in SPGAO is implemented using the double buffer mechanism and it can show the progress of the every step of algorithm. The multithread technology is made for the genetic algorithm. Finally an example of function optimization based on genetic algorithm in SPGAO is provided and it shows that the platform make the user to use the genetic algorithm quickly and efficiently. The SPGAO provides strong interaction and better flexibility.

Abstract:It's well known that the schemata theorem and the implicit parallelism are two basic theoretical foundations of genetic algorithms (GA). In this paper, the authors analyze the two basic principles and show that the two principles are not strict and have some disadvantages. That is, as the bases of GAs, the theorems are not perfect. In order to deepen the comprehension of GA, a new ideal density model of GA is presented in this paper. Based on the model, it's known that the GA is actually a guiding stochastic search. And the searching direction is guided onto the chromosome family whose ancestors belong to schemata with high fitness. Using the model to solve the typical function optimization problem, the simulation results show that the new GA has much better speed and can get more precise results. This shows that the new GA model has potential usage in practice.
