Abstract:Rural tourism is an important part of China's rural development in the new century and the and However,with the problem existing in rural tourism,the concept,significance,classification and development model of rural tourism is immature and controversial in China. The author divides the paper into three parts.In the first part,rural tourism's concept is given.In the second part,taking European rural tourism as an experience,the background of international rural tourism is reviewed in brief.The experience of international rural tourism is studied from several aspects,i.e.from the functional orientation and the classification of rural tourism,from the character and extent of government's interference,form the relationship between municipal government and the country community in rural tourism governance.In the third part,based on the experience of international rural tourism development,combined with Chinese present situation,guided by the policy of sustainable development,the paper concludes that there are salient differences in rural tourism development between mainland China and European countries because of existing tourism administrative system,social and economic condition and cultural tradition etc.However,it is necessary and probable to learn from the international experience to develop China's rural tourism.In the end,some issues including orientation,law and regulation system,community participation,forms and cooperation mechanism are pointed out for further discussion in hope to benefit the development of rural tourism in China.

Abstract:Rural tourism, as a new way of tourism evolved from the combination of ecotourism and agrotourism, has ideological roots in the double regresses to the nature and the life style of ancestors, which are also the original motivations of the tourists taking this tourism form. There is a growing trend of rural tourism in China. The purpose of this paper is to identify such the challenges and problems encountered by the rural tourism businesses in China as limits to the investment and operation scales, disperse in geographical distributions and slack in organizations, repeat in project constructions with a low level, and disorders in market competition, as well as monotony in product designs, environmental declines, urbanization of accommodation establishments, and the badness of credit standings in market, resulting from the unfair distribution of benefits from rural tourism development. To solve these problems, following measurements need to be undertaken, including enhanced conduction, scientific planning and appropriate layout; quality management, service instruction and monitoring ensurence as well as innovations in product design, mechanism and organization structure.

Abstract:The rapid development of the internet and mobile networks has caused tremendous changes in mindset and tourists' habits. Integrate the concept of smart tourism into the industrial structure transformation of rural tourism, relying on powerful internet data resources and cloud service platforms, based on integrating various information resources, it also meets the individual travel needs of visitors. Taking the Yunyang District of Shiyan City, Hubei Province as an example, this article analyzes the design, application, and implementation of the smart rural tourism AI system from three perspectives based on a concise and straightforward analysis of mindset orientation, construction elements, and existing problems of smart rural tourism. Discussion to achieve the ideal combination of AI system and rural tourism to create a rural tourism brand.

Abstract:In recent years,demands for rural travel increase very rapidly in China.But Chinese rural tourism,after experiencing an initial stage of rapid development,now witnesses a bottleneck in many cities.This paper reviews the developments of rural tourism both in China and abroad,and makes an analysis of the development patterns of Chinese rural tourism and that of other countries,and the successful practices of some developed regions as well.In view of the existing situation of Chinese rural tourism,the author puts forward some suggestions for industrial upgrading from product,marketing and market expansion.

Abstract:High-speed rail (HSR) networks in China profoundly altered China's urban tourism spatial patterns. This paper examines the characteristics and evolution of spatial patterns of the urban hinterland before and after HSR network. Economic relation model and spatial analysis in ArcGIS were utilized on 338 national prefecture-level administrative units. The results show: (1) HSR strengthens tourism-based economic relationships between cities, and demonstrates a “corridor” effect of the spatial distribution of the change rates of tourism external economic relationships; (2) Center cities with larger tourism comprehensive scale are enhanced with expanding trans-province hinterland; the hinterland of central cities are enlarged, of which spatial linkages between the hinterlands are increased; (3) the competition and difference for the hinterland of central cities are intensified. Based on these, this paper proposes a tourism spatial structure with 19 urban agglomerations, 6 1st-class and 21 2nd -class tourist economic zones, and strategies for optimizing China's tourist space.

Abstract:High-speed rail (HSR) has been proven to drive the development of regional tourism. However, few studies paid attention to the impact of HSR on future tourism land use. In this study, points of interest (POI) were used to obtain the locations and types of tourism facilities, and high-resolution remote sensing images helped us determine the spatial extents of the tourism facilities, so that tourism land could be identified. A system dynamics (SD) model was coupled with the patch-generating land use simulation (PLUS) model to simulate future tourism land by considering two scenarios, including HSR-led development (HRD) and the historical development pattern (HD) scenario. The SD model was employed to project the amount of tourism land and determine the HSR effects via empirical analysis. The PLUS model was applied to simulate the spatial distribution of tourism land and model the HSR effect by adopting a planned tourism area as the development area. The study area is Xinxing County in Guangdong Province, China, a county dominated by rural tourism, with the HSR expected to open in 2025. The results revealed that the SD-PLUS model has great advantages in simulating tourism land use change, and the HRD scenario leads to major changes in the sources of tourism land growth. This research provides new insights for policymakers on making countermeasures for the sustainability of tourism and rural revitalization at the county level.

Abstract:Following a Chinese saying: To be rich, roads first, high-speed rail (HSR) opening and station construction are indispensable for economic developing. Probing the nexus between HSR, as a vital part of modern transportation system, and local tourism development provides a scan for reviving tourism and gaining low-carbon transition after COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on prefecture-level panel data, this study takes difference-in-difference and instrument variable methods to detect the overall and heterogeneous effects of HSR connection on cities’ tourism development. The results showed that HSR connection had an overall positive effect on cities’ domestic tourist arrivals. The heterogeneity of the effect from HSR to tourism development appears to be that central and western cities, non-resource-based cities, and small cities benefited more from the opening of HSR. From a dynamic perspective, HSR connection promoted local tourism development in the 0 and 1 year of HSR opening but failed to show a positive effect in the long term. Hence, the study proposed some adjustments for evaluating the efficiency of HSR with consideration for the tourism effect, redesigning the system of HSR with consideration for local heterogeneity, and optimizing the HSR environment. These measures can optimize China’s HSR management and the design of HSR systems.

Abstract:It focuses upon the role of tourism industry in the construction of new countryside,based on a planning experience in the rural area of Beijing Metropolis.It is criticized that many villages at rural areas adapt similar industrial structure when developing tourism industry and ignore their own characters of natural and cultural resources.The authors argue that planners should adjust measures to local conditions and support the villagers to make more rational decisions in choosing development mode and build up an appropriate distribution system,so that the profits of tourism industry could be used to promote the conditions of infrastructure and services for the whole community.

Abstract:With the continuous improvement of living standards, the rapid development of tourism, and increasing maturity of traveler behavior, tourism has become an essential part of people's daily life. Also, in recent years, with the continued development of economic and global integration, coordinated development has become a global trend. After more than 30 years of development and exploration, rural tourism in China is increasingly diversified. The accelerated development of a new socialist countryside and the integrated development of urban and rural areas provide important options for urban residents to escape from their habitual environment and seek leisure, comfort, and relaxation. Meanwhile, rural tourism development is based on certain resources and has a great coupling relationship with China's urban and rural development. As a result, rural tourism has long become a hot issue for academic research. However, with the continuous promotion of rural revitalization, rural tourism in China has presented some serious problems such as resource overdraft. These issues have caused serious harm to China's rural tourism resources and cultural heritage. On this basis, it is necessary to view rural tourism development from the perspective of coordinated regional development. Specifically, rural tourism resources should be characterized through a method of character selection to sort out rural development paths. At the same time, the development of regional tourism linkages for villages with shared source markets, dense location distribution, and similar landscape resources can effectively avoid regional homogeneous competition, form complementary advantages, and achieve sustainable development of regional economy, culture, and society. In addition, with the continuous development of information technology and computer technology in recent years, the construction of digital countryside has been completed. In other words, the conditions are in place to establish a rural tourism resource information platform that combines tourism information database and geospatial framework. The establishment of rural tourism resources information system will meet the information requirements of tourists and tourism management departments and lay the foundation of information technology for the development of rural tourism. Therefore, this study combines multisensor and geographic information big data technology to explore rural tourism resources. After that, based on the analysis of the evaluation results, specific regional overall linkage development strategies are proposed in four aspects: coordinating regional resources, optimizing resource allocation, integrating spatial types, and establishing regional brands. This can provide an effective strategic support for the diversified development direction of rural tourism.

Abstract:The most direct efficiency of tourism by high-speed railways was reflected in creating ‘time-space' effect,from this,the tourist effect and tourist economic effect on tourism development were gradually formed.The orientation and volume of tourism flow are the main reflections on general situation of tourist economic development,and the level of tourism income is an important result of effect level of tourist economic development.Through analyzing the shifting change process and space characteristics of tourist number and tourism income since opening of high-speed railways in 22 provinces and cities of China,the guidance quality of regional tourist flow and the impetus of regional tourist economy by high-speed railways were judged.Through data envelopment analysis,the characteristics of efficient changes in input of railway traffic factors and output of tourism under high-speed railway background.The study result shows railway factors have guidance role on space flow of Chinese tourist,and highspeed railways have promotion role on increasing Chinese tourism income,but the matching degree between actual input and tourism output needs increasing,especially its influence on tourism income per capita needs increasing.

Abstract:Abstract With the continuous development of the economy and the level of science and technology, people are no longer satisfied with the old rural tourism model, and information technology is developing rapidly, which brings an opportunity for developing rural tourism innovation. As a product of the comprehensive development of the information age in recent years, “Internet+Rural Tourism” builds an intelligent cloud platform for rural information services relying on big data and other advantages and establishes a rural intelligent tourism service system to provide convenient, intelligent, and diversified services for tourists. This paper elaborates on the practical significance of “Internet + rural tourism” development opportunities”. It proposes to scientifically calculate the environmental capacity of rural eco-tourism areas, control the scale of visitors and reasonably invest in costs because of the problems of lagging infrastructure facilities and limited distribution of inputs and outputs in the process of its development. The results of this paper show that the satisfaction level of rural tourism tourists is the lowest, with the degree of “dissatisfaction” as high as 38.40%; in the rating of rural tourism indicators, the rating of rural ecological environment is only 52.41, the average rating of rural economic indicators is 60.12, and the average rating of comprehensive management indicators is 58.2. The results of this paper also illustrate that the current rural tourism development has three major problems: environment, economy, and management and that rural tourism should not blindly invest high costs if it wants to seek high-quality development but should seek long-term development of rural tourism based on its characteristics and rural ecological environment indicators.

Abstract:China can effectively promote urban-rural integration and economic and social modernization through new urbanization, which also serves as a strong driver and supporter of the growth of rural tourism. This paper examines the new urbanization and the growth of the rural tourism industry based on the rural revitalization strategy. It does so by using the techniques of literature research, field investigation, information technology retrieval, and excavation. We list the accomplishments of the rural tourism sector at its current stage of development and identify the issues and factors that will affect the sector's future growth. In addition, a coordinated development evaluation index system is built based on a theoretical analysis of rural revitalization strategies and new urbanization, and the corresponding comprehensive score is obtained using the entropy method for research. The index weight of the subsystem for rural revitalization in province A is computed using the entropy weight method. According to the findings, the wealth of life has the smallest weight (0.1117), followed by the prosperity of industry (0.2618), which is the largest on a criterion level. The effective weight of governance is the largest, at 0.2801. This study can serve as a useful resource for fostering rural tourism and advancing rural business.

Abstract:Rural comprehensive tourism is a tourism model with broad prospects and development potential. Through scientific planning and effective implementation, it can effectively promote the comprehensive revitalization and development of rural areas. This article analyzes the necessity and practical conditions of developing comprehensive tourism in XX region, with a focus on exploring how to achieve high-quality development of rural comprehensive tourism. Promoting the high-quality development of rural tourism in XX region can not only drive local economic growth and optimize rural industrial structure, but also increase farmers income and improve rural living environment. However, XX region lacks distinctive tourism projects, and the local infrastructure construction is relatively backward. To promote the acceleration of rural revitalization construction in the local area, the local government should actively play a leading role in promoting local construction, and take multiple measures to improve the quality of local cultural and tourism services.

Abstract:Abstract At present, although the development of rural tourism has been studied in many aspects and angles in China’s academic circles, the research on its development mode is not sufficient, especially the case study on the selection of rural tourism development mode characterized by geographical areas is insufficient. To explore the development path of the rural tourism industry promoted by big data technology, this paper takes rural tourism development in the context of big data as the research object and measures the development efficiency of the rural tourism industry in each province of China’s rural tourism industry based on the research results of rural tourism development model at home and abroad, based on which the Tobit model with restricted dependent variables after basic regression is used to analyze the level of economic development, the provincial market size, informationization level, and government macro-control of rural tourism on the efficiency of rural tourism. The results show that the degree of influence of each variable on the efficiency of the rural tourism industry varies and varies widely. The level of economic development, government macro-regulation and control, and the level of informationization have a significant positive influence on the comprehensive efficiency of the rural tourism industry. In the evaluation of high-quality rural development, Zhejiang ranks first with 62.07772, followed by Jiangsu with 59.57594, Fujian, Guangdong, Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangxi, and Qinghai, all of which have achieved more than 50% of high-quality rural tourism development. Except for the eight provincial administrative regions mentioned above, all other provincial administrative regions have an overall rural tourism score below 50. Therefore, the promotion of high-quality rural tourism development requires consideration of various factors, cooperation, and collaboration, as well as the support of big data technology and localized planning and development strategies for the tourism industry, and the development of the rural tourism industry has a long way to go.
Under the Background of "Space-Time Compression" China's High-Speed Rail Tourism Development Path Innovation

Abstract:With the advent of the era of high-speed rail, the development pattern of China's tourism industry has been quietly changed, and high-speed rail tourism industry has emerged. And the tourism development of high-speed rail in China under the background of the current "time-space compression", is facing great opportunities and challenges, embodied in the rapid development of high-speed railway to improve the accessibility of tourist destination, along the integration of the tourism resources, but also there is a high iron tourist publicity and lack of innovation, the corridor effect and siphon effect and a series of problems. Therefore, in order to achieve sustainable development in the context of space-time compression, various tourism destinations, tourism enterprises and other stakeholders should take the initiative to integrate into the network transportation system and break through the path constraints of conventional development through path innovation. This paper mainly puts forward Suggestions from three aspects: intelligent transportation, tourism space and high-speed railway characteristic tourism, providing references for realizing the path innovation of highspeed railway tourism development in China.
