Abstract:Through analyzing technical statistics of Men's Volleyball Final in Ninth Games and comparatively analyzing statistics of serve, first pass, first attack, and the attack after defense between both sides, some reference data are summarized and advised to Jiangsu Men s Volleyball Team in order to develop whole team' s techniques.

Abstract:Serve, first pass, spiking and block are the basic techniques in volleyball games. These techniques, which are able to be applied properly to the games, are very important to win the game. This article is written to analyze the four basic techniques statically in the men's final in the Ninth National Games and to find out the relationship between the scores and the techniques in order to make the most of the advantages of Jiangsu Men's Volleyball Team. 

Abstract:Receiving,first round attack and smashing are the three major skills of volleyball. The application of such skills determines the results of the whole game. After collecting the field statistics of the Chinese team in five games of 2013 World Volleyball Grand Prix and using SPSS to process the statistics of receiving,first attacks and smashing of both sides,the writer compared and analyzed the effectiveness of these skills between them. The aim was to provide statistical support and scientific reference for Chinese Women Volleyball Team. According to the results,the Chinese team has an advantage in high power attack at No. 4 point,yet disadvantages lie in receiving and spiking. In the future,the Chinese team should strengthen its advantage in high power attacking and further improve the ability of receiving at the same time.
A Comparative Study on the Comprehensive Strength between Chinese Men's Volleyball Team and the Three Power Teams from Europe and America during the 29~(th) Olympic Games

Abstract:Based on the information and the classified statistical data from competitions by Chinese men's volleyball team and the three power teams from Europe and America during the 29th Olympic Games,by means of logic analysis and comparative study,the author carries on a comparative analysis and appraisal on the comprehensive strength between China's team and three power teams from Europe and America.The results show that there are no differences in the players' body height and spike height,but there is significant difference in age,body weight and block height between the Chinese players and players of the three power teams.The test of utilization effect about the technology of the three initiative scores show that the score rate and fault rate of block have remarkable differences,the fault rate of spike and the score rate of service show significant differences while there is no significant difference in the score rate of the first pass and defense.

A Study on the Service Technique and Tactics of Chinese Men's Volleyball Team

Abstract:By methods of literature,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and the latest data-volleyball software,the paper analyzes service technique,effect,speed and area of taking off and landing in 17 games in 2006 Asian Games,International Championship and 2007 World Men's Volleyball League.It shows that the Chinese Team' guideline of struggling for service implies in jump serve technique more than in jump floater and floater technique;their understanding of the effect of jump floater in competitions is insufficient.Meanwhile it is found that the Chinese team's landing point of service is centralized and less aggressive with negative effect of service;The start area of service is still concentrated in the traditional area regardless of advantage brought by revised rules.

Analysis on Technical and Tactical Characteristics of the Chinese Women's Volleyball Team and Its Main Competitors Preparing for the 29~(th) Olympic Games

Abstract:Through using the method of literature review,on-site monitoring and observation,video resolution,truth-point description and mathematical statistics,this paper makes evaluation on technical and tactical application of Chinese woman volleyball team during preparing for Beijing Olympic Games.The result shows that the Chinese team needs improvement in the following aspects such as service reception,block front,defensive stand in individual round,and the performance of double back flight tactics.Meanwhile,the research group studies its main competitors by focusing on their serving placement pattern,service reception formation,composition and score effect of first attack tactics in all rounds,and the offensive characteristics of key players.Based on existing problems,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forwarded.

Abstract:The authors have made a thorough and detailed investigation on the present status of the high-level volleyball teams from general institutions of higher learning in Jiangsu province. The results indicate that there are a number of problems for these sports teams. The problems include that the target for the sports teams is unclear; the facilities in gymnasiums are outdated;the technological inputs are few;there is little cooperation with other P. E. universities and research institutions; the mode of team forming is unitary without making full use of the advantages of sports teams of institutions of higher learning; there are also contradictions between study and training for team members;the team players have few chances for contests;and the policy and means of enrollment should be reformed.

Abstract:The subjects of the study are 6 higher education institutes(HEIs) with high-level sports teams in Zhejiang Province,including Hangzhou,Ningbo and Jinhua who employ the system as trial programs.It adopts the method of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics.The study also analyzes the top five affecting factors of the competitiveness of these teams,including arrangement of sports,coaches,athletes,and the investment of universities and frequency of competition.To address the problems in the establishment and management of the sports teams,the paper proposes some countermeasures to enhance the development of the high-level sports teams in HEIs.
Comparative study of competitive ability between China women volleyball team and other top teams

Abstract:Mainly using observation and statistic analysis methods,the article analyzes 4 teams(China,Italy,United States and Brazil women's volleyball team) based on competitive statistics of 11matches on the 11th Women Volleyball World Cup.The results show that China women volleyball team should seek changing on reserve formation;the attack structure is not reasonable,it should increase back and quick attack;compared with Italy,United States and Brazil women's volleyball team,the blocking of China women volleyball team is poor.It should strengthen the anticipation and consciousness training before blocking.

Abstract:Using the literature review,questionnaire,video observation and statistical evaluation methods,this paper establishes an evaluation system for technical attack ability of excellent women's volleyball main attacker,based on main attackers' technology statistics from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and 2009 World Grand Prix.Horizontal comparison on these score values obtained from look-up table can determine the degree of differences between various technical of each main attacker.Longitudinal comparison and judge his ranking in groups.The evaluation system is a theoretical basis for coaches to make the training program in the next stage and select different main attackers based on match change.

Abstract:The purpose of this study was to investigate the playing characteristics of team performance in international men's volleyball. The specific purposes were (a) to examine differences in playing characteristics (in particular, the set and spike) between the Attack Process and the Counterattack Process; (b) to examine changes in playing characteristics as a function of team success (as indicated by single-game outcomes and by final tournament standings); and (c) to determine the best predictor, or a set of predictors, of team success among the selected skill components. Seventy-two sample games from the Third Federation of International Volleyball Cup men's competition were recorded using a computerized recording system. Results showed that the significant differences between Team Standing and Game Outcome were due to better performances on those skills used in the Counterattack Process. Among the eight selected skills, the block and spike were the most important in determining team success. The methodology used in this study and the subsequent results provide valuable aids for the coach in the evaluation of team performance and ultimately in the preparation of training sessions in volleyball.

Diagnosis on the Technical Movements of Jumping Spike Serve of Shanghai Men's Volleyball Players

Abstract:Based on the technical test of the jumping spike serve of Shanghai men's volleyball players in the national team, the article analyzes the main factors affecting the technical movement of jumping spike serve. It also discusses ball toss in serve and the fixation of serve speed. According to the monitoring of the two elite players' back muscle strength, the paper evaluates the technical movements of their jumping spike serve and makes a comparative study. According to kinematic analysis, the toss time of the two players in jumping spike serve is short and the hitting point is low, which results in slow ball speed and high faulty rate. It suggests constructively that the diagnosis on the technical movements of jumping spike serve should vary from person to person, and the partial potential advantage of the personal technical movements should be unearthed to the greatest extent.

A Comprehensive Analysis of the Serve Reception Zone, Set Zone and Attack Quality of the Top-Level Volleyball Players

Abstract:The game analysis is known as a useful tool for understanding the level of technical-tactical performance of volleyball. As one of the main characteristics of volleyball is defined as the intense relationship between its skills and concluded performance, the present study aimed to perform a comprehensive analysis of the serve reception zone, set zone and attack quality of the top-level volleyball players. The analysis process included reviewing the videos of the games by an experienced scout man who was an expert analyst and specialist inthe knowledge of volleyball skills. Initially, during each game video checking, data were collected, and irrelevant/invalid outputs were deleted. Data were exported to the Data Volley special volleyball analysis software. Bivariate associations were assessed for pairs of variables with Pearson’s chi-squared tests. Statistical significance was set at p<0.05. Moreover, the effect size was calculated in terms of Crammer’s V, with values of 0.5 for small, medium, and large effects respectively. The results showed that there were significant relationships between reception zone with setting zone, setting zone with attack quality as well as reception zone with attack quality. Coaches may consider the relationship between critical skills of volleyball to promote their team performance.

Abstract:through analyzing of men's basketball centers' offense performance in the 11th national games,the result shows: the men's basketball centers in the 11th national games are used to standing while receiving the ball,the successful ratio for receiving the ball while moving is high;diversification is the feature of shooting.Two points shooting and penalty shooting are primary methods for score in the games;the joint technique after rebounds is weak;assistant passing methods are diversified;passing and receiving have lot of mistakes.
